The person in question even uses the name DeSnakeS similar to, the Cofounder and admin of the alphabay darknet market at that time - DeSnake.
I do neither know about Alphabay darknet nor the person but click on your given link, I see one thing. I am not sure and confusing that a person who runs a darknet market changed the account default settings, to display an email used for that account here.

I know about proton mail service but display the email address is not a recommendable practice in privacy for everyone.

The link does not work anymore. I guess the moderators have deleted it.
The topic has already been deleted. Selling such scripts will be permitted if the service is legal and intellectual copyright allow it. Otherwise, the topic will be deleted.
Yeah, One was deleted, but he has similar script ads of the same service So, I am not sure if it was due to multiple posts or because it is illegal

The first question that comes to mind is: can the script be used to create a system that render other services different from those the law enforcement took down? If the answer is yes, then it is possible such script ca be sold in the forum there might not be any problem.

From my understanding, the script is the core component of the service and if law enforcement ban such services, then it means the script is illegal because what the script produce is prohibited by law. Selling such in this forum might just be like promoting such services. This is my interpretation.

It is not ok and you can see it with the quoted post of theymos above and this following quotes. I highlighted necessary parts for this discussion but decided to quote full posts to help you understand the context.

I received a lot of questions by PM, let's clear the situation.

1. We are not under feds control, all our users are safe, all logs and old wallets deleted. We had incredible multiserver custom written Bitcoin software and outstanding mixing algorithm. It is impossible find out even the fact you used bitmixer (it is possible only by logs of your provider if you didn't use tor version). We didn't had linked wallets, traceable ip addresses etc. Don't worry about your past transactions.

2. We do not sell the domain name nor our software nor methods we used for mixing.

3. All I wrote is true. I've changed the view of this business and Bitcoin future. About question "is a knife good or bad tool?". If you sell knifes and you know that most of your clients are murders, will you stop your business? My pastor suggest me it is not a business I should continue. Sorry for that.

4. The message to other mixers. If even btc-e considered as money laundering service, what do you think about your business? Don't be innocent.

Very important message for our investors who still didn't take money. Please take your principal using your investor panel.

Thank you.

he government pressure doesn't work like "Oh man please close your service!". No way. They just come and arrest you for illegal activity. We are the privacy experts, it is hard or impossible to find out our location and personality, our servers are located in the country where Bitcoin is not considered as a currency, etc, etc. I could sell the business for our competitors for $5-6M, but I will not do this. It is important that you understand my position. I really revised my view about Bitcoin as a transparent system. Bitcoin has no future with drug/weapon traffic or any other illegal activity. This is my point.

It reminds me of this post:
Bitcointalk.org is not a darknet site. Linking to illegal services is not allowed. As mentioned in the law-enforcement press release, "a cryptocurrency mixing service is not necessarily illegal." But a seized mixer is rather different from just any old mixer. Sinbad, if still operating, is now clearly a darknet site, and therefore not allowed on bitcointalk.org.

The OP is banned. This topic is archived. The onion address is wordfiltered, and bypassing the wordfilter will get you banned.
The details are different, but the bottom line is the same.

It is not illegal to sell/buy a script; the crime comes when you build, host and knowingly promote the scam service of the script.

As for the copyright of the script, I would image it's null if AB was incorporated.  I don't know the legalities of copyright if a person is convicted of a serious crime, but the script itself may not be copyright.

What does the copyright text say?

Selling the scripts outside this forum is not illegal as long as there is no copyright claims and also the person buying should not have no intentions to make a site to do the crime. (although the intention of buyer is difficult to know at the time he purchases the script).
There are many general scripts available in the market for developing a basic m*x*r site, a crypto exchange or an ICO/IDO site and these scripts can be used for good purposes and evil purposes too.

On this forum, we have to understand whether selling the general scripts is allowed or not and then selling the script of the service that has been banned to discuss would surely not be allowed.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that nowadays. If you are profiting from it, you are gambling a lot.

Tornado Cash devs were arrested for knowingly developing and hosting the famous ETH protocol which was used by hackers and scammers. But what if they only developed the code? My bet is that they would still be hunted.

The only think that matters seems to be how big the project is. If DPRK or major hackers uses it, they will come for you eventually.

<...> but then someone is trying to sell the script (might also not be the real script and is trying to scam). Where does such a user fall?

Selling the script is not illegal, but may be against forum rules.

As long as I understand, selling of such script isn't ethically acceptable and if we look at the current strict actions that law enforcement is taking against such services.

That's why for safely of the forum and the members we should not allow such script and their selling/buying on this forum.

I believe that's the reason why some moderator deleted that thread, and I believe in future all such threads should be reported so such criminal minded people won't be able to sell such destructive scripts.

Of course no one can give you a confident answer but we can make a logical conclusion. If you are selling a script, no one can prohibit you to sell it because script doesn't violate any rules if it doesn't contain malware and doesn't infect anyone. But if you promote that you sell a script that dark market was using, then such a thread will be deleted.
By the way, in the first place, it's a bad idea to sell a script of a service that was taken down by law enforcements. It was taken down for a reason and now you selling a script means that you are basically looking for someone is going to start another unlawful business via your script. If you are looking for trouble and attention of authorities, then welcome, sell whatever you want but does it really worth for some bucks?

How about a case of a user advertising a script of a dark market service that was shutdown by law enforcement some time back? Is it against the forum rules
If the service has been filtered or banned on the forum then the users post should be filtered or deleted accordingly. I do not think it should be a bannable offense on the forum. Each user cannot be aware of which service has been shutdown by law enforcement at each time.

It is actually illegal. Selling of scripts for illegal websites falls on most countries' strict cybercrime laws because it contributes to the perpetuation of those crime. About this being banned on bitcointalk, i don't remember there is existing rule over this as i see lots of similar selling scripts or...

Following the mixer ban, if I understand the new rules well, any darknet service that the LE has seized, shutdown or sanctioned is not allowed to advertise or announce in this forum.

How about a case of a user advertising a script of a dark market service that was shutdown by law enforcement some time back? Is it against the forum rules

Here is an example;

Alphabay market was shutdown by law enforcement some years back, but then someone is trying to sell the script (might also not be the real script and is trying to scam). Where does such a user fall?
