In December 2017 there was a news on the Jerusalem Post that the Finance Ministry and Bank of Israel are considering issuing a digital currency, a possible response to the frenzied cryptocurrency and bitcoin craze. The decision was taken considering the rise in Bitcoin trading inside the country.

The digital shekel would record every transaction by mobile phone and make it more difficult to evade taxation, according to a finance official who spoke to The Jerusalem Post on condition of anonymity.

The present value of a Shekel is US$ 0.025130. It is hard to predict what it's future will be? But it's developers say, Shekel is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables fast, zero cost payments to anyone in the world. It is global payment network, fully decentralized. Mathematics secures the network and allow individuals to control their finances. Shekel features faster transaction confirmation times and improved storage efficiency than the leading math-based currency. With industry support, volume and liquidity, Shekel is a proven medium of commerce.

PRESALE BEGINS UP TO 45% DISCOUNT
I am eying Shekel 2 months now because I noticed on their performance through coinmarketcap.com and they actually rising and those who invested early this year are very lucky.
I will soon invest in Shekel coin as it claimed to be the official crypto of the Jewish people around the world and available to some local markets in Israel in the near future.

Some people are really SOME PEOPLE! Honestly, I feel often some people come after fighting with their wife, as just that kind of replies they make  Grin

The poor thing just landed on exchanges, and got near 10% rise within short time, yet the guns are out running. I mean, AT LEAST take a PROPER LOOK. I am not exactly mad to invest into dustbin! There is A LOT in this then what some people might see from just one visit.

Anyhow, just not much to do when people don’t understand these things. As often they regret on missing, but won’t check when there is time.

I do not like when a coin is also called as a Fiat currency. For me, this is a sign that someone is trying to attract attention at the expense of the name. In such cases, a high probability that it is a Scam. For me, the indicator is the properties of the currency and the argumentation of the creators of this coin.

I have tracked https://shekel.io/from last few weeks, and it’s consistently rising on the price.
you have provided a CMC link, now can you please show me points where it is rising during the last weeks? The chart that I see shows me that the price fall down sice  the very begining and for the last few weeks it is in flat and not moving anywhere.
On the website they say only about "fast and cheap transactions". I don't think that it will ever moon

Can you please visit here http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shekel/, There is around 7-8% gains. I am not saying that this is just going to beat Bitcoin, all I am saying is that it is a GOOD option, not saying this the BEST option.

I have tracked https://shekel.io/ from last few weeks, and it’s consistently rising on the price.

I thought about buying it back then, but thought better to wait out and in just 8-9 days, it has jumped around 8-9% http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shekel/ (so far). I have just purchased it.

I don’t know if this is a good move or maybe I got impatient?  So anyone else invested on this? Or do you guys think it is a good option to make even more investment?

Personally, I never heard of it. And I noticed they don't have a team listed on their website, so that could be a problem.
Usually ICOs that don't have a team behind are scams.

I do not think that this is a good idea, because in Israel, the laws for cryptoviolate are not clearly defined, if the state of Israel recognizes crypto currency as a means of payment, then of course it is necessary to invest.

The website is down, so it is probably not a legit project to invest in. There are always big gainers and losers everyday in this crypto world. So don't worry about missing some profitable opportunities.

Which site did you visited dude? THIS IS THE SITE - https://shekel.io/ I don’t see this DOWN, it’s very much up. I am really amazed with some of you guys with the LOGIC. I won’t agree, it is not EASY to join that big opportunity.

At least, I don’t see too many which we can really be banking on, but this one got MULTIPLE reasons behind. Check their growth for last 7 days http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shekel/

This currency cracks me up.  Calling it Shekel with a tag name of JEW... lol are you serious.  I did see it is possible to own a master node... which I feel I could make a whole bunch of new jokes about.

On a serious note other then finding the name of this currency humerus and the fact that it does have master nodes and I assume it has to have staking as well.  I don't really know anything about it.  I will eventually read more about it.

Frankly speaking, there is nothing wrong in finding humor in things, but certain stuff is just to be serious and this is that. I believe this is a SERIOUS investment for months to come. People had similar view about Ripple. Many called it USELESS, VALUELESS and what not, but it got investors HUGE returns. So, it’s fine if there is fun to be made, but then at least look at in serious and proper way before saying.

Shekel coin is one of my favorite altcoins if I do soon invest into new Altcoins. It is one of my top listed altcoins and it is likely an official alternative coin in Israel.
I really like Shekel coins' performance in the Crypto Market because I is slightly pumping and if I was just invest it this early year then I would get higher return already.
I wish I could invest it before it rises and surge to the moon.

I have followed this from long time and was very much interested, but for some UNKNOWN reason I never went ahead with investing. I really regret that now, as all early investors have 10x their investment and the fun part is that this is just STARTING!

I was not aware of that Israel thing, but good to know that it’s such high on the stuff. Thanks for sharing this info.

From which exchange can we buy this? How much did you bought? I have not heard of this Cryptocurrency before. I do like the upward graph of this but need more details!!

I think if you visit here https://shekel.io/ then you will get the list of exchanges they are added on.

Although, there are many that you could use for but try this one https://stocks.exchange/trade/JEW/BTC - I have got plenty from $100. It has just recently got into the exchanges, but has already hit the train with massive gains. So I am extremely high on this!
