Does anyone know if the A2 terminator can be used with the newer Model B+ raspberry pi? My model A PI has stopped working but I have a PI B+ sitting around. However the older PI's have 26 GPIO pins and the newer ones have a lot more....
The A has no network The B does. I'm guessing that you want the "non +" version of the B

If you need the ones with the 26 GIPO I think I have some at the office I can sell you. (If you are in the US)

yes you are right. I have the non + version of the B. ie the one with 512 RAM. I'm testing the B+ at the moment as the first 26 pins of the 40 pin version are the same. (So i'm told). I'll PM you as well. Thanks.
Did this end up working? I am assuming so due to no further updates or questions.

We can change.
I send you Pi you send  me PI+

Thanks for your offer. I found out that the pins order is the same for the first 26 pins so I can force the ribbon cable in so it will work.

Thanks. So it's not impossible but probably take me a while to figure out the mapping. I might not have a choice considering second hand model A's don't seem to be around much which is a pain.

I wonder if anyone else has tried this remapping cable....

No problem... I had a bunch of A2's, so I was always looking for model A's as backups.

No idea if this will work, but here's a 26-pin to 40-pin adapter cable:

https://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/Breakout-Kit-for-Raspberry-Pi-B-w-40pin-to-26pin-Cable-p-2080.html

Or this might make making an adapter MUCH easier:

https://www.modmypi.com/raspberry-pi/gpio-and-breadboarding/40-pin-ribbon-cables/raspberry-pi-40-pin-gpio-socket-connector-to-labelled-pins-female-150mm

Hope that helps!

No, the pins are slightly different order on the B than on the A - so if you want to make an adapter to map the wires to match, then it should work.
