For you to be able to maximize martingale, you have to have a very big capital because you're just going to waste money if not. And even with a big capital, you're not assured that your last bet result would be positive. Martingale is flawed nomatter what people say about it. The more you play the bigger your chances of losing all your money
this is risky indeed and to avoid consecutive loses martingale will needed unlimited supply of money too because usually martingale system will failed if we discover 10 losing streak or more but there is no guarantee too that use big money and use martingale will sucessfully and earn profit in my view rather than play gamble with this method then just gambling normal and rely on our luck

I think martingale is not working in any gambling games, martingale is the way of betting, not depend on the games, we have see a lot of streak lose in dice sites because we played it many times when you play roulette with the same amount I think you will see many streak lose

I have try a lot of games with martingale and all result is the same, and the worst game to used martingale is sportbet

wow ithink the best of using martingale is sportsbet coz its not fully random if u know statistic or can see a bad line bet its really works.. 3-4 lose in row its common but never have 6-8 streak, if u do maybe u can read statistic in sports

Martingale is just a strategy to double up bet until you get a winning game and everything still balls down on the bank roll of the gambler and the starting amount for a bet and just like you have said, long streaks is all that it would take to clear out the whole money in the gambler's account. There is absolutely no strategy that can help in such cases and the only thing to rely on is luck and knows that you are only playing a game with a lot of chances that you can easily lose.

Usually, nothing works in gambling except your luck and the fact that you cannot always beat the house edge as your chances are quite slim is enough to let anyone know that it should be a no go area if you are thinking of making profit or earning because it is not an investment but a game and you can lose bad.

All people have tried martingale and the only thing it can do is to reduce your chances to may be play dice for a long time before you get nabbed, but that does not mean long streaks of losses cannot just easily get you nabbed.

Yes, that is inevitable. If there weren't house edge it could be possible to have more balanced chances to make profit on long term with Martingale. On the currently situation you don't depend only on luck to make profit, so it's a worthless effort to keep playing hoping to make profit and recover previous losses. Gambling games were very well determinated to give house profit and to take money from most gamblers in a legit way.

is there any way to play the martingale in dice sites ?
any system /
getting 10 loses in a row in a dice site is very common

but how about live roulette i never seen 10 in a row red or black
roulette is also random  . dice is also random  if i go to play 20 minutes in a dice site getting 6 in a row loses is big chance
but with  roulette it is rare to get 8-10 in a raw loses even if is spend 4 - 10 hours in the table

if both is random why dice games so common in raw loses

I dont agree with you, as if you are playing in martingale then all games will come to loss at the end and their will be one result for 10 or 20 streaks also. You are lucky that you did not faced this problem in the roulette game.

Martingale strategy is not work in any format of gambling games this is true, but i think in roulette game you will not get more loses like how we get in a dice game. I did not try this in an online game, but in offline game surely you will win back your loss in 5 or 6 moves. But making a profit is difficult you can enjoy your time that's it.

I played roulette and I place a bet on red, it was black. In next 20 and more roulette spins I saw 4 time's green zero and the rest were black. I lost more then 0.4 BTC in that time, that was long time ago, and I believe you can find more about it in some of my comments. My last bet was around 0.15 BTC, all that is left and I started with 100 satoshis bet of I remember correctly.
Martingale works for some time, but sooner or later you will experience in long losing streak, in most of the games, there is no rule when will it happen and on which odds.

Martingale is not a smart investment method. If you are in a bad run, 8-9 loss in a row, than you might stake 1000unit to win 10-20 unit.. Just cover your losses..

It is better to split your stakes or create %2-%3-%4 Stakes, depends on your Bankroll.

The only time martingale (or any other gambling strategy) will work is when you have unlimited amount of money and the maximum bet amount in the website that you are playing in is also unlimited. First, no one has an unlimited amount of money because money is still limited despite of the ridiculous quantity that it has. Secondly, all websites have their maximum bet amount. Well honestly even if they don't have, your money isn't unlimited anyways.

For the amount that you're going to earn for every time you hit Green, the capital that you're going to be needing is just too much. You can't only recover 10 losses, you have to be able to recover a lot more. And since the growth of the bet amount for every time you lose is exponential (x2 x2 x2), then the capital has to be around basebet * (2^20 + 2^19 + 2^18...) and so on. That's a lot of money.

So to answer your question.. Martingale doesn't work just like how any other betting techniques don't work. They were all made by delusional people that thought they can take down a gambling site using a particular algorithm. If there's a technique that actually works, gambling sites will simply counter it. It is even possible that martingale used to work for some time so they increased the amount of loss streak a user can have so they would need bigger, unlimited even, bank rolls.

Yes, and it's really funny, because if you have an unlimited anount of money, then why would you even need to bet at all.
Maritiangle main goal is to profit the starting bet, which means that after a succesful round you are going to end up with your Previous Stack+Starting bet

This is certainly not the only way of using the martingale approach. You may tweak it and set the amount you bet each round in such a way that you win twice as much as you lose at previous rounds combined. Indeed, in this way you may run out of money faster, but it at least makes sense and you can start rolling at the lowest allowed amount at that. Though I definitely agree with you that if you have unlimited funds, you can just buy the casino itself and get done with that.

Talking about the duration of results then dice would really be more faster than on roullettes which it is really prone or do have high chance on reaching out 10 losing streaks in a short period of time. The thing on here when we do play dice is that we can do make set on the lowest possible base bet which is usually on 1 - 10 sats unlike on roulletes base bets are high but actually i havent still experienced being hit by 10 losing streak on this game.

Martingale strategy works with gambling, at the same time it is not that effective with every event. We can make use of the martingale strategy, this doesn't mean that implementating the strategy will give promised growth. This can be used as an opportunity to get out of loss, but winning is not assured.

If you chances of winning is set to 50/50 then thats 50/50, no martingale can change the outcome of your bet. I think even in real life gambling martingale will not work, it will just push you to bet some more until you are able to beat the house but will lose again, its a cycle that will not make you notice how much money you are losing already because you are more focused on applying the strategy.

A short answer is no, it doesn't work, and it looks like there have been a pretty long thread with a thorough discussion of this topic, so if you are really interested in understanding why martingale can't and won't work, you should read it first. And then, probably, you wouldn't have to ask this question again. Anyway, most dice sites nowadays have set a minimum bet amount way above 1 satoshi, while having a losing streak of 20 bets at 50% probability, which roughly matches black and red, is not uncommon, so you shouldn't really expect this system to be of any use at dice sites.

Nope. The sooner you realize it the better for you. I'll say even more, if you are playing UNskill games like roullete, dice or slots you'll end up losing some day, bar you a are genius at maths.

Generally this all strategy does not work much in the longer run. Because if you tend to play for long hours and regularly it is you who is going to make loss and gambling site/casinos to make profits due to which they are still surviving today as well. So better just enjoy the game for fun and not for the wealth.

yes martingale maybe work if you do it for once or twice , not continuously.

10 losing streaks and 11th times you won it. you should leave and not to try it out again in the future. martingale never work when you force yourself to want more winning. do martingale and walk away after you have received a good winning. otherwise you will always suffering lost in the end.

I agree, if you happen to have a long series of loses and you won, better not to continue, best thing to do is to stop and quit.  I had experience this kind of scenario several times, and the thing I observed is that.. if we push our luck with martingale method, we end up losing.  It seems the house have a limiter on this kind of strategy.  So the thing is.. martingale works but not for a long session gambling.

i think everybody here had experience playing dice with martingale method and won but that's only for temporary because martingale method will works if you're have good luck but very unfortunate this method usually cannot be repeated and with 10 or 20 losing streak will destroy this method and rapidly you will losing your money

Of course it feels like you never see 10 in a row in live roulette games... that happens about once in 1,000+ games, with house edge of land-based casinos a lot higher, almost 1,100 games I think. So have you sat at any roulette table long enough for 1100 games? Even if one spin of the wheel takes a minute (it takes more), we're talking about you stting down for almost 20 hours at best. More likely 24 hours with changing of dealer and breaks.

Online, with a roughly 50% chance on dice, the same 1,000 rolls takes a fraction of the time, so it's easy to roll enough times to see plenty of long streaks. I've seen above 15 frequently enough to know that martingale works... until it doesn't. Numbers eventually don't lie, and even if you think you're due a break, variance gets you in the end.

That's why martingale (eventually) doesn't work. Also, even if you had unlimited funds, the house has a maximum bet.

Yep it is a rarity although I've witnessed it a few times, Both live and online. Worst for me was online where it hit Black 17 times in a row and this was when I was trying out the martingale system for the first time.. Needless to say it broke my bank hahaha. Longest streak live was 10 or 11 I believe, also Black. For some reason it does seem like Black comes in a lot more often than Red with the crazy streaks.. Hmm.

I've not visited land-based casinos much, but when I do, always at Black Jack with one or two others. Poker is never popular where I've visited so once am done losing at cards, I invariably end up watching roulette. What I've noticed at land-based in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, UK and Netherlands (where I've been), they're set up so martingale fails very quickly.

At roulette tables, because of min and max bet, will rarely allow you to do martingale of more than 7 or 8 streaks. Commonly, where the minimum is $0.1, the max is $200, and they'll never let you put the minimum on the 2/1 payouts. The "best" I've seen is $1 min, $200 max for 2/1, so you're stuck at a 8-streak simple Martingale - common enough to find.

Because of that, if I'm playing for fun, I wait for 3 or 4 streaks to appear before betting against it. It's a stupid way to risk several hundred dollars bankroll to win $1 Wink

Indeed I've witnessed the same things, and not only at land-based casinos,  a lot of online ones have started with those limits as well only giving you 10-11 chances at martingale, which means you'll eventually lose out if you play long enough Cheesy.

And yeah I usually always end up at the roulette table as well but I'm always betting numbers.. Don't care too much about the colors Cheesy. All for fun ofc.

I have no luck when I tried out martingale, I tried it out because before others are saying that it is effective to them so I tried it out and after that I lost almost all my spare funds. It may be effective to other gamblers but not all of us does have the same luck and fate when it comes to gambling. If it works for you, then you are one of the few lucky people who are working at best with it.

is there any way to play the martingale in dice sites ?

Which way though ? I mean you just simply doubling your bet everytime you lose your bet and that's it, it's really common in dice sites to use martingale strategy. I actually never use it on roulette but it seems work too but the different is they have 0 too which is green and it's not 50-50% red/black.

Hmm.

Martingale is nothing more than a step by step betting just like how you use those script in plinko, when you look at it, it has too many red and just few greens each time you use it. That alone can prove that martingale is not effective, it could fail any time and it could eat your bankroll big time. Which I think is the same in martingale while betting manually.

Martingale is a good technique but never do it with bots or auto betting. Do it manually so you can at least change the amount during a losing streak.

Sooooooooooooooo
I've worked this question already and had to mathematically show my father it DOESN'T WORK otherwise he would have insisted in trying xD

Let's say you have 2% house edge, so you bet on a number to be even or odd. On each you have 49% chance to be right and 51% chance to be wrong. Martingale means:
you bet X. If you win you win X and bet X again. If you lose you double your bet until you win.

So:
Bet X -> lose
Bet 2X -> lose
Bet 4X -> win 4X
Overall you won 4X and lost 3X so won X ok?

It would work if you got infinite money, but you won't. Let's say you have 13 000$ and you bet 1$ at the begining:
you can't go further than 13 losses in a row, it would mean the 13th bet is 8k$ so too much to go to the 14th.

What's the probability of 13 losses in a row? 0,51^13 = 0,00016 so approximately once every 6300 bets.
It means that even if you win EVERY OTHER BET, you'll lose everything once every 6300 bets, including what you've won.

Martingale doesn't work.

I think because it has long been used by people because most gamblers use the site to use it to win the case so many know this strategy so they always win it here but, ...

Martiangle is a great way to make quick profit but you will eventually loss on long term.
Just make sure that you gamble on site that provably fair like primedice.

*Note if you keep loss when using martiangle, you change other method so make a variation is better than stagnan !

martingale isn't a good way to make quick profit, you are only risking your whole bankroll just to win a small part of it and even you are playing on a provably fair site there is no guarantee you would win using this strategy, you will still lose in the long run.

Don't get us wrong, it works! However to make it work you need two things.

1. You need unlimited amounts of bankroll
2. There would be no limit to betsize

The reason is that eventually you will have a win even if you had already lost 100 times or even 1000 times already. But, the thing is even at 1 satoshi per bet at 100 straight losses and you double it at every lose then you need to bet  6338253001141150000000.00 BTC. Which no casino allows you to bet. Also, who has that much bitcoins right? That's probably even worth more than the whole world already at that point.

I don't think any gambling houses will allow people to bet without any maximum limit because they also know this risk so they cleverly set those limits to protect themselves. If not some big whales can easily eat up their bankrolls.

In short, no methods including martingal method works in the long run. You may win or few times but you don't know when your losing streak will eat up all your bankroll so it is good don't use gambling to earn money.

Martingale works but it is not effective for long run.  Tell me that it does not work if you win and did recover all the loses you had taht round.  Though it worked, the question on martingale is its effectiveness.  Since we all see, the longer we role a dice, the longer we have this losing streak.  It is on the internal setup thus nullifying this martingale method in the long run.
By works what do you mean?
It is counted as a gambling strategy, but it won't make you win at the long , as you are still paying a very large house edge.

It is impossible to win at the long run by any strategy, you will always have a low winning precentage.

Agreed, using martingale on the above mentioned sites on automatic betting with a significantly small initial bet can do wonders, especially due to the fast dicing which makes it worth the time. Again, agreeing with the fact that it is best to cashout when a significant amount of profit is made instead of continuing as there is complete possibility of losing it all to a very bad red streak.

Martingale is not working, you must be prepared to face 20+ losing streak. You can't improve your odds with martingale strategy. I have tried it out and in the end it doesn't work. The problem with the martingale strategy is that if you make very small bets, it will take a very long time to make a good profit and you are likely to get a long streak of losses since you have to make so many bets. And if you start with larger bets, you can't cover long streaks of losses.  I had once experienced 15 losing streak and the house gobbled up my entire bankroll.

When i'm new to gambling the first strategy i know was martingle. I could say it's effective on me at the beginning and i always profit on it whenever i play but when i try to exceed on my target. It always end up losing and at that time i knew that i won't profit from it when i play too much. Whenever i play again i only play a couple of minutes with that strategy and if i profit i will stop because if i continue playing then i will lose in the long run.

is there any way to play the martingale in dice sites ?
any system /
getting 10 loses in a row in a dice site is very common

but how about live roulette i never seen 10 in a row red or black
roulette is also random  . dice is also random  if i go to play 20 minutes in a dice site getting 6 in a row loses is big chance
but with  roulette it is rare to get 8-10 in a raw loses even if is spend 4 - 10 hours in the table

if both is random why dice games so common in raw loses

It is always a matter of how big your bankroll is when it comes to martingale. If you have infinite money you can use the system but you'll never know how much you really have to spend if you are on a crazy losing streak, it can quickly turn in to millions of dollars Tongue.

As for if it works with dice sites I'm not sure.. Playing the 50/50 game then sure, it might. I'd never recommend anyone to try it though, simply not worth it in the end.

No! In the long run, martingale always fails. You need to have a huge bankroll to be able to even play martingale. Stake doubles every time and after 5-6 bets, you can lose everything.

You may not have seen 10 times the same color on a roulette game because roulette takes more time, You can make a large number of dice rolles in almost no time while in roulette it's going to take you forever, that's could be the reason that you are yet to find any long streak in roulette.

Of course not! It has never worked like ever! There is no chance that it would work since no strategy in gambling really works, the reason is that statistically speaking a game where there is a house edge or advantage to the house there is really no chance a gambling will win in the long run. Martin Gale assumes that you have unlimited funds to gamble and that there is no bet limit, both of which are impossible. No one has unlimited funds and there is no casino that has no bet limit.

Uncertainty will remain uncertain, so you would always receive unexpected outcome. When you think it's impossible to get more than 30 losing streaks or maybe 10 times in a row the ball hit number 0 on roulette but then it's happened, you would always accusing that it was rigged or something, well it's up to you. The game are fair.

Well, it's about provably fair and losing 10 streak in a row on dice is common yes. In my opinion martingale strategy is really works, but if we keep using that strategy on the same dice sites, you will get busted for sure. That's why you need to leave and cash out your profits before it happened. Gamble on another dice sites, using the martingale strategy and repeat.

As a newbie gambler i thought that the martingale strategy was the best one but after becoming a more of a seasoned gamble over the years that's not even close to reality. I've seen the martingale in action in different types of games like blackjack or dice or roulette and it simply works if you got a huge bankroll, lets take for exemple the 6 losing streak you were talking about, if you start with a 10$ bet you'll find yourself betting 640$ just to keep up with the martingale strat and thats just insane.

IMO, it's good to make quick profit with martiangle but you will eventually lose on long term.
Usually if I loss with martiangle, I changed my method into high risk high reward which makes me a insane profit in unexpected time.
So it's your choice to use martiangle or other method but remember that they have their own risk !

No matter the sequence of some sort, it could always end up in the right way or the wrong way because that's the way it is in our life, its hard to determine knowing that you could definitely lose a lot using martingale method but chances are going to show that it's possible or not. Instinct is the answer, and probably luck.

No, it's not, it's been explained on this forum many times. Using martingale you risk more money every time to win the initial amount you were trying to win on the first bet. And long streaks end up occurring. So, stay away from martingale.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy#Monte_Carlo_Casino

"The most famous example of the gambler’s fallacy occurred in a game of roulette at the Monte Carlo Casino on August 18, 1913,[13] when the ball fell in black 26 times in a row. This was an extremely uncommon occurrence, although no more or less unexpected than any of the other 67,108,863 sequences of 26 red or black. Gamblers lost millions of francs betting against black, reasoning incorrectly that the streak was causing an "imbalance" in the randomness of the wheel, and that it had to be followed by a long streak of red."

getting 10 loses in a row in a dice site is very common

but how about live roulette i never seen 10 in a row red or black
roulette is also random  . dice is also random  if i go to play 20 minutes in a dice site getting 6 in a row loses is big chance
but with  roulette it is rare to get 8-10 in a raw loses even if is spend 4 - 10 hours in the table

if both is random why dice games so common in raw loses
