The subject pretty much says it. I am looking for a guide to export the private keys so they can be imported into Multibit, Armory, etc.
Thanks.
It is possible to extract your mnemonic (seed) from an Android Wallet backup file, and then use it to create a MultiBit HD wallet (via its restore option) which has the same addresses/private keys. However....
- messing around with your mnemonic can be dangerous (from a loss-of-funds/malware point of view)
- MultiBit HD is still in Beta and not yet recommended for everyday use
- it requires the latest version of MultiBit HD (Beta 8, it won't work with earlier versions)
If you still want to proceed, see here for more info on extracting your mnemonic: https://github.com/gurnec/decrypt_bitcoinj_seed
