A few days ago I signed up for Mixabit Bitcoin mixer. It let me deposit coins of course without a problem and even let me withdraw a small coin amount ONCE. Since then for 2 days in a row now, I experience the same.provlem as posted here but with this Mixabit service, not Onion wallet. I try to send coins to different addresses, small or large amounts, and all I get is a blank page (sendbtc.php). It hangs on the blank page for awhile and usually nothing happens. Every once and a while, it comes back with an error that Bitcoin address is missing, which I know I entered.
So, is Mixabit a scam service or they are just experiencing technical difficulties? It let me withdraw once after 2 deposits that I made. Might have been to trick me into believing them, of course. I cannot withdraw anything since then for a few days now. Messages to them of course went unanswered.
I am pretty sure I used the good url to access it from hidden wiki, etc. If it is still a scam, why would it be promoted and link posted on hidden wiki, onion links, etc. which are supposed to be "trusted" sites, Claiming Mixabit to be one of the best and highly recommended? Does nobody moderate these sites to ensure the links and sites are "legit"?
I have read that there was a scam sometime back related to Mixabit, but the URL for the scam is not what I was using.
Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you. It turns out to be a scam. Thanks for your advise.

It's hard for any of these community members to tell you what really happened to the crypto mixing site because it was never a recommended site from the beginning and I will advise you not to use it again, be careful in the future, and use the crypto tumbler site we have on this forum.
Chipmixer appears to be the most trusted one though.

Thank you for the advise!

1. There is a list of good mixers, you have to just search a little. Here you are: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2023-list-bitcoin-mixers-bitcoin-tumblers-websites-2827109
2. I didn't find anywhere info on bitcointalk that would say that Mixabit is legit. I found 2 onion addresses marked as scam, and that's all. I have no idea how you guys find the shadier and less used services on the internet, really...
3. Not much relevant, probably, but still: there is a bitcointalk user mixabit, but it's inactive for some 6 years.

I don't know where you found that mixer and I don't know if it's scam or they have difficulties, but I'd assume the worse, especially if they're not answering (although it's not uncommon to get slow answers from support).

PS. I think that Service Discussion would have been the place for this topic.
