You will quickly discover that this forum is like a school for troubled halfwits, with mouths agape and eyes that don't quite look right.

Learn what you will, but do take a look at the rules section and make damn sure you don't break them

Especially:  1) Copy/pasting content that isn't yours without citing where it came from.  2) Shitposting.  That's making short (or long, even) statements that add nothing to the thread.  You will see a lot of them here, because I would say that most members are in signature campaigns.  That's where you rent out your signature, avatar, and maybe even your personal message space to advertisers.

Signature campaigns are the impetus behind all of the garbage posts you'll read here--that, plus the account farmers who rank up accounts and sell them to other members who are trying to spam or otherwise take a shortcut to building a legitimate reputation here.

If you visit the currency exchange section:  Don't deal with PayPal or any other reversible method of payment, because that's how a lot of scammers pull off their schemes.

If you visit the lending section:  Collateral is needed for loans here.  Not offering any, or offering crap collateral may get you a negative trust.

There's so much more, but you'll find your way.  Start by just reading and get a feel for the vibe.  This forum is unlike any other I've been a member of, and it can be addicting.

You should read on the forum and go to different thread to be updated and learn more about this. And know about the rules and regulation. Like a great school having a strict rules and regulation. It alsso have that..so make sure you are aware of that and you strictly follow to avoid any consequences..

Welcome to the forum!
The beginners section is a good thing to start, like other members mentioned.
Then if you want to learn more about the technical details of Bitcoin and blockchains, read Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas Antonopoulos.
If you prefer visual learning, then search on Youtube for Bitcoin characteristics, I'm sure there will be enough videos to give you a good understanding.
Here is a link to a demo of the blockchain: https://anders.com/blockchain/ , it's really useful for understanding the blockchain.

Read the stickies in Meta. Don't break rules. Don't be stupid.
Not only in Meta but in every board that you want to have discussion into.

Excuse me , where do I start? this forum looks like a great school! Huh
It is. Both in knowledge and strictness. Like school, discipline should be implemented.

I don't think it's a very hard task to just simply explore the forum for a day or two, reading all the stickies so that you don't do anything stupid. Reading will also prevent you from spamming/scamming, so that's a plus. Wink
