With all the prop bets, multiple, alternate and money line bets on sporting events. Would it be possible to create a perfect hedge? whereas you would create a situation through the use of the different types of bets that can be placed and  make it so regardless of the outcome you could make a profit?

Of course there is. Buy some shares of the betting companies what you using.

Sometimes on betfair the market is overbroke so you could hedge perfectly. Usually it is only a very small margin and for a small amount, but it can happen.

I think you could arbitrage with different bookies every now and then to get a perfect hedge. But not with the same place

Can you hedge your parlay bets on the same sportsbetting website though? Say all you need to win is the last leg of the parlay?

Yep, done it multiple times.

You can also hedge normal bets if the line moved enough after your bet, just like it does in live betting. But the % of gains is miniscule and its mostly a waste of time.

Heding last leg of the parlay though is pretty smart&standard.

There is a list of sure bets here:

http://www.oddsportal.com/sure-bets/

For example for the 'Balashikha - Orsk' match, bet over 5.5 on Fortuna and under 5.5 on 1xBet for a 7.5% guaranteed profit.

Of course there is more to it.

The people who set up these sites hire mathematicians to make sure something like that doesn't happen. If you somehow find a loophole, then you're a genius.

It's obviously impossible due to house edge, even if you use different bookies.

Bonuses, rakeback and difference of odds make this possible.  They are rare but they do exist.

It's not fully impossible, there are opportunities where you could arbitrage plenty.

Not all at once on the same bookie. You could arbitrage between different online books, or you could hold onto the favorite early and then make a hedge with the underdog near the start of the match.
