Hello, Is there a way to sell bitcoins to Chinese merchants as a non-Chinese and non-American. I was looking at the options of registering on Chinese exchange sites but really don't want to go through that. Or can that be done via this forum?  Roll Eyes

I would like to suggest you to completely avoid any chinese exchanger if you are not actually from China. They have implemented very strict KYC policy and you may end up losing whatever you will deposit there.

Its very risky. You won't get any customer protection, they can seize ur money and what you will do... appeal to chineese courts? Wink
Be very cautious here, your best bet is to avoid chineese exchanges.

Why do you want to register on a Chinese exchange ? Exactly what benefits are you getting ? Are you trying to waste people time ? You not Chinese why would you trade in a language you can't speak ? You don't even list the exchange in question. If you can find a word obscure Chinese exchange you surely can find others what exactly are you asking us for when you know ?

You may sell your bitcoin to Chinese on https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/?action=sell&country_code=CN&amount=¤cy=CNY&place_country=CN&online_provider=ALL_ONLINE&find-offers=Search but it seems you will have to get in RMB or HKD in return only, they cannot pay you in USD.

If you can find some trustworthy person in China to do this on your behalf and you pay that person some kind of commission... then that might

be another option. I have some friends or should I rather say "people I have met" that stays there... but I would not trust them with large

amounts of money.  Roll Eyes

So, why exactly do you want to trade with the Chinese specifically? If you don’t care who you could check the currency exchange section of the forum or various websites, but I’m not sure how to specifically trade with the Chinese.

Yes, bitcoin is very cheap in my country, and the demand is quite high in China. I have compatriots as well selling to Chinese (long time trusted partners), so I thought that could make sense. I can convert the yuan to dollar or to my country's local currency as well.

Since the exchanges require strict KYC, that is why I want to avoid them completely and rather trade with individual merchants.

Very cheap?  I am wondering how cheap it is? lower than $1000? If so, then many many many people would love to buy.  Grin

And I hear the verification processes are tough for non-Chinese or non-residents?
