No App and I don't think there is any plan to establish anyone except in due future if the mod find needs for it. From the look of everything I don't think there will be any different with an app if they decide to establish anyone.

If there is one I think that we should've known about it by now and I think that it is a good idea that there is an app for this forum like what Reddit does in their mobile version or Facebook. I hope that maybe someone will do it here.

No offence OP, but I think moderators should remove all posts in this topic and add 1 answer containing the dozens of links we have to this question that was answered over and over, over the years then lock it Undecided

IIRC, There was a Bitcointalk app before on playstore, I'm not sure whether moderator here released it or some user here but I'm sure that there was an available app before but it's still in development phase that time.
I guess you are talking about this Firefox add-on for Android phones that fahbil created > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-mobile-friendly-app-for-android-4500633.

The user who developed it hasn't been online since July 2018. No one has tagged him as a scammer, he has received a decent amount of merits for the add-on, and there are no posts about users having their accounts hacked after using the app. Nevertheless, I would be very careful entering my login details in anywhere outside of the forum, and I don't suggest that people do that. For those who don't care or think they have nothing to lose, they can try it and see how it works.
Bingo! That was it, thank you!

Even the user/OP of the thread was last active almost 3 years ago, so yeah using the app isn't really recommended anymore.

These new generations would put everything in an app, so I guess that's why it's so easy to sell them the idea that they can mine a coin/token on their smartphone, because how else to explain that there are over 15 million users of such an application and everyone thinks it really works Roll Eyes

But let’s say there is an app for this forum, how many more accounts do you think would be hacked because of those fake apps that would show up pretending to be legitimate? If you ask me, it would do us more harm than good.

Is there an app for this forum? I seldom use computer  😭
Thx  😊
I think there is no application for this forum...
for the first, maybe you will find it difficult to adjust to using your smartphone to open this forum but opening this forum in the chrome or firefox application is quite comfortable. only 1 that makes it difficult for me to open this forum on a smartphone because with using google translate, often makes it difficult for me.

No app per se, but that's not a problem. You don't need to use a computer to access the forum, a phone works just fine. I usually when travel I use the phone and it works great. So, that's the answer...
true, it does work on phones just fine(especially on my new one which is 6.5"x3" inches(length x width) but there are phones(just like my old one which is 5.7"x2.8" inches (length x width) that makes it hard to navigate through the forum. even reading is hard if you don't zoom in on your phone. it's really not that of a problem but I guess it just becomes annoying for people to keep adjusting the screen every time you need to do something or read something. but I guess there are people that just got used to it by now.

1. No application with this SMF forum.
2. Epochtalk forum, you can suggest it.
3. With mobile devices, you can visit the forum with (1) your browsers too easily, or (2) by typing ;wap at the end of link.

I am more comfortable using this forum with the Chrome or TOR browser than with apps playstrore on Android. The TOR browser offer good privacy if VPN is your concern. You can save more space on your android if you use a browser to access forum because you should know that hundred to thousand of post every day will add to the application data.

@OP, Why are you having hard time connecting Vpn? You can just use TOR browser if you really want to browse privately.
There was like a Firefox Addon that was made back in 2018 if I can recall correctly.
Not sure if source code was updated though.

I wouldn't trust any mobile apps for now unless it's well-recognized here in the forum. Cheesy

You can just use a browser on your phone and login there. It's a normal website that you can log in to. Just be sure that you have a secure device. What's so hard about that, OP?
Thank you my bro.
You may not believe it, it'sjust not easy for me to log on an VPN😂😂😂
Then while not use TOR becasue this has been proven with those who keep anonymity with the forum to be working well without hassle in term of log-in into the forum. Also, you can use Firefox browser which is easy for accessing the forum.

First, this question shouldn't here, just move to Meta or Beginners & Help board.

This thread of yours and your concern is the same on this thread and this thread, and the user TryNinja suggested one but in the end, it will not work because of the log in a captcha feature upon accessing of this forum.

Using the android phone is hard for me especially if you have lazy fat fingers, it's very difficult to touch the screen on the web, it needs to zoom in and then zoom out.  Therefore, the android app for Bitcointalk isn't necessary when our phone has a chrome app, Firefox app, or Brave app browser that we can able to open websites like Bitcointalk.

Before when the first time I joined this forum, I also asked this question to myself but did not bother me to ask it in any member of this forum because I just realized that there is no problem when accessing it in google chrome or on a website. There's still no app for the bitcointalk and I don't think that they are planning to create an application for it.
