I've read that Electrum is also working on an Iphone app as well ( they already have an Android one), but no clue when that will get released.

If by ayphoon you mean iPhone then yes , there is Breadwallet[1] , It's an SPV wallet , open source and there is also a phrase as a backup. Its pretty much what everyone uses when It comes to iOS
