On work i have proxy server. Most of port are closed.

My point is there any solution for this to bypass if it can be done off course.

i have similar issue, you just have to find a mining pool that uses port 80 or 443 as default

eg

https://fast-pool.com/

stratum.fast-pool.com:80 OK
stratum.fast-pool.com:443 OK (best for transparent proxy users)

HI all.
Is there any coin GPU or CPU to mine via proxy server.
I have capabilities on work for this n I need some info about it.

Is it possible?

Any coin will do.

not sure what you mean ?? quark based coin or cgminer as long as you use the proxy command should work unless your work blocks those ports.

minerd -x ipaddress:port

I am a newbie here but how is asking about alt-coins to mine off-topic in the "Mining (Altcoins)" category? If he/she had posted this question somewhere else wouldn't he/she have gotten "spanked" on that forum for being off topic?

Or maybe I just don't understand your post ckolivas.

I have done some CPU mining of Riecoin on http://ypool.net/

By the way, thanks for all your work on CGMiner ckolivas Smiley

One can mine bitcoin through proxies. Your other questions are offtopic in this forum section.
