Any coins that has been created since January will have no future. I personally think there is no room for new coins in crypto....all established coins are the only ones that'll make it to the future. Look at BTC price..it's the leader for a reason...when it came around there was no competition and then slowly competition increased and now it's to the point that crypto is filled with "scam coins" so any new legit coin will be labled "scam" easily and it's literally impossible for any new dev to succeed in this competitive crypto market.

thoughts?

It doesn't take long to see about 99% of new alts are scams (all from maybe 6 or 7 crews), but there will always be room for truly innovative projects. Vanillacoin for example. Don't own any. Don't know if the code's any good. But the fact that it has a completely unique codebase that appears to be fully operational puts it far ahead of these clonecoin/masternode/ico scams. Something like that can't help but stand out.

Could be if you are speaking of clones, but some coin different with new features or improvements can have any future.

Dogecoin. No innovations, pure clone. # 4 on coinmarketcap. More than 20 million USD capitalization. How can you explain this?

again, it has established market. Personally, I think it got lucky because it pumped around same time when BTC price was rising and it attracted lot of attention from twitter and social media...any coin that had established ground by January 2015 is in for future..doge is one of them. I am not big fan of it but it is what it is.

highly doubt it...

its best to look at the current thousands of coins out now and see which one has the most active development, community, and future foresight and go with that...

hands down if you do you research, you'll notice NXT fits the bill.

Don't take my word for it.. Do your own homework... as anyone here that tells you to go with a coin is a bag holder of it.

DON'T TRUST WHAT PPL SAY HERE. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK!!! And most of all install the wallets and compare...

I don't think so. A good coin, no matters when it has been created, is always welcome in crypto-land.
