Hey is there any word about the forum supporting AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), in coming days which will further increase the loading speed of the forum pages. I know it’s loading fast and smoothly but when AMP has already been made available, do you’ll think @theymos should take it into consideration for the future updates? I feel having AMP pages would enhance the viewing experience on mobile devices, what do you’ll say?

IINM, AMP isn't suitable for forums because AMP is targeted towards static pages such as on publication sites. And AMP pages are grouped according to their similar topics and designed to be swipeable (if you noticed). Forums are not sources of news and hence, won't be an appropriate candidate.

Because a forum is so dynamic, AMP would basically strip almost everything off its core mechanics just for the sake of speed, possibly breaking it in the process. Not to mention the amount of posts and software modifications that might even affect the whole site.
