The way you said it, It sounds like you two are gonna exchange smerits and that is not allowed here specially if the post you two have merited from each other are not quality post and are not helpful. You two can be accused of exploiting the merit system if you do that and it is very likely to get negative trust by doing so. I suggest you not do it if you still want to be in this forum.

there is no such restriction and no direct moderation too.but the way you plan to use your sMerit is not as intended, in fact it would be seen as exploiting the merit system
if you insist doing it, you can expect to get red trust tagged by DT1/2 if they think you are abusing merits
There is no resctriction about that but that was not a very good idea for us.How can we convinced ourself to improve and make a constructive post in forum.Maybe if both of your post have a thought and quality post you can gave merit to each other.

If both of you are making quality posts, this can be done but remain in limits. Just repeating it between friends can be seen as abuse of the merit system.

Im not pretty sure about that. Maybe its still ok if you only select to merit a constructive post of your friend and your friend also select also your constructive post. The only problem is if you merited a shitpost with no sense at all.
As I observe here from the meta section. Swapping of merit points by the users are reported to the moderator and tagged by some DT members if they are proven for their mistakes. So beware just use it wisely.

Sending merits to friends and getting merits back from them is not a good idea. You will get caught by the moderators.
There is no such restriction but do not misuse it. If caught, be ready for negative trust.

For now there aren't any restrictions but if majority of the people started abusing it. I'm sure theymos would immediately respond to it and as ducdr saidDo try cheating the system, new rules will be stricter and more punishments will be implemented on users who try cheating the merit system.
But i'm sure you're educated enough (you even got here) to know that such actions and manners is morally wrong since that would disregard the very essence of the merit system. There is no such restriction but such a behavior will only raise suspicion.
If its reasonable why not, But I think you might be in risk cause people may think you have a another account and gives merits to each other specially if the post is not making sense. Don't try to cheat cause you will pay for that action for sure.
You can do that only if which posts you send your sMerit are high quality threads. Do try cheating the system, new rules will be stricter and more punishments will be implemented on users who try cheating the merit system. Just my opinion. Think positive and do right things to rank up.
