i wondered if there is any story anywhere about this crook scammer butterin ethereum stole Nick Szabo idea on this smart contracts thing. it would be a good read.

What a dumb question... Ideas are not protected by copyrights and what not, so you can't steal it, also if you have an idea and don't have the skills to implement it, why would you be unhappy if someone comes up with a way of implementing it? Imo Szabo is pretty happy that his idea came to life and that he gets all the credit for being the first to think about it and to write on the matter.
