these airdropped BSC
Airdrops Grin those are spam airdrop and you cannot really do anything with those tokens are randomly dropped in your wallets as they are even worth nothing and in some cases, if you tried to trade them mostly in some DEXs you might end up giving access to your wallet. The best advice is not to use your main wallet for any airdrop.

Hello friends

please is there any possible way to stop receiving some BSC based token after performing a transaction or initiating swap.
i recently noticed that each time i perform any of these i m being sent some free token to my wallet and i began to wonder how come about those free coin and it can not be converted for any reasons, usually with high values and fake volume.

i m sure you understand what i meant as many of us here uses BSC for transactions and to receive payments, any solution Undecided?

I don't think there's any solution to that, these developers have found a way to trace this wallet with the large or continuous transactions and they've sent these airdrops in the hope that it will generate interest and check these airdrops, and since these airdrops are associated to websites complete with roadmap and features but they are actually scamming sites and they will tempt you to buy more of these airdrop tokens on their webpage, so better ignore these airdrops or use another one any way they will only show on explorer but not on your wallet unless you add their contract address.

I have many phishing BSC airdrops in my wallet, they have a very high value, but the only way to sell is to login to their dex using Seed phrase. sadly, I still have these on my safepal hardware wallet. For some others are shitcoins that had real time value, was scared of selling because of some reported wallet hacks. As long as it's a smartcontract, no way to stop receiving airdrops.
that definite scam, I never log in with another dex exchange with seed phrase, where did you get it? I believe that is phishing, Usually, I got it in just a password with my Metamask. Lucky you save it on safepal where is impossible to hack it.

I am doing this but, I am doing it for others through the advertisers website. Let me explain. There are many peeps who are hunting the BSC tokens constantly. As you stated they are low or high priced and sometimes they are just too many out there with real or fake volume. So there are these peeps who keep scavenging unlimited number of BSC's and thus in the want that they might hit the jackpot coin someday.

I am working on rewarding websites in which there is daily task of submitting the BSC addresses to the Gleam site and perform the stated actions. This way the advertisers get his coins while we get paid in USD on the site.

I am pretty sure they have huge success in it, if they are paying real bucks for it.

This mostly happens when i swap token from Pancake or Poocoin i received free tokens after swapping. This is very annoying maybe you can track your wallet through the BSC scan to view it, you may not possible see it in your Trustapp or any other app but through bscscan.
That's true and I've also come across this kind of case in my wallet so I just ignored it without taking the time to check it further because it would be useless to search.
Because I think that tokens that are given for free and for free like that without doing certain work will definitely have no value, so it's better to just ignore it.

There's no way you could stop that from receiving and it is not an airdrop but a scam. You can find different fake airdrop from Eth network to BSC network I just don't know in Avalanche and Polygon network if they receive a fake airdrop but just try to ignore those and you'll be good.

Right, especially which wallet i used on the bounty campaign, then i getting continuously a lot of fake coins even interesting thing is those coins show good value (fake). Yeah, also i don’t think there are any way to stop it because anyone can send a token if who wants, there is no way i can stop to receive such spam coins.

Using a different address/wallet is the only solution here. Once someone knows your address, anyone can send some tokens there, that's why even if you did some transactions on some platform, they can already know it.
Some people are doing advertisements by just sending random tokens to some addresses. But for me, I will just ignore it.

I never received coins in my wallet while making any transactions but received many unwanted coins in my wallet. I think we can not stop receiving such coins even I have never faced such an issue till today but If I were you I will never touch the coins whether they have value or not because it might be a hacker who tries to hack you so always be safe. Don't touch or try to sell a coin that you don't know.

You can't stop receiving BSC airdrop or dusting attack token if your wallet active transaction swap, receiving and sending coin to other wallet, but if your address just passive as hold coin only I think is not worry you will not received any BSC airdrop token. Almost all address active for sending and receiving coin or make swap on pancake or another dapp exchange they will received almost ten kinds BSC coin every day, this way for scammer how to get access to your wallet when trying with swap on dusting attack token or BSC airdrop token because almost coin receiving are scam.

I don't think so.

Airdrop tokens are gonna come your way regardless of whether you like it or not.

Just ignore it and be safe to not claim it on any website because that can seriously jeopardize the security of your metamask wallet, and there have been plenty of people scammed. Etherscan/BSCscan usually labels these tokens as phishing/spam anyway so it's easy to spot.
That's right, some of these tokens are marked in my wallet. But new ones come and, as I understand it, you just need not to interact with them and then they will not cause damage. Just now I did actions with several tokens on different sites to identify fraudulent tokens, and almost all of them that came as an airdrop were shown to scams.

I don't find such token on Trustapp rather than Metamask address or whenever i track my address on bscscan i will got to see them. Nevertheless just as you have said and many contribution out here as well i will learn not to make an attempt of doing anything about the tokens.

To my knowledge there is no way that how you can prevent other people from sending you tokens, which is really a bad thing in this case. I am in the crypto space since 2017 and even back then i sometimes got some weird tokens on my Ethereum Wallet out of nowhere and i did not know where they come from, but it really feels like that today it is like 100 times worse than back then. The reason for that is probably, that on the BSC chain you only have to pay a few cents per transaction so with a couple hundred bucks worth of BNB you can reach a few thousands of users.
The only advice i can give is to never interact with the tokens where you don't know where they are coming from, i have read weird thing about what can happen when you do that.

Airdrop tokens are the tokens that already sent by others to your wallet. Since this already operated in the blockchain and is there a way for you to block it? i don't even think you have the way to do that. Any transaction that already sent by one address to the another address in the blockchain can't be reversed again. As long as people are still sending you the airdrop tokens and it will keep coming to your wallet and it will never be stopped.

Would it do you any harm to let it stay in there? I have been receiving too and surely most of us in here. I don't really know how this happened in the first place but it then later on come to accept it. One day maybe those coins would be available for you and you would thank them later.

I am actually scared to touch any of these random drops as i have heard about wallet hacks when you connect those random coins it is a common scam technique that is used by hackers and it is really irritating as well as your wallet will be filled with dust coins whenever you make a transaction and there is no way you could hold them back, hide the coins and ignore them and that is the only solution.
maybe it called as dusting?unknown token that come to our wallet should ignore and we move our valuable asset into another wallet. alot hacking case caused by transact or move this random coins. hacking technology in cryptocurrency day by day very dangerous and alot people be victim.

Actually, we cannot do this prevention because this may be something like instant or automatic transfer.

yes usually its automatic tranfer when we got certain token . the only solution only ignore and move our asset into other wallet.

I know what feeling it is, it seems that there are so many trashes in our own wallet, moreover it cannot be converted or even those tokens are shit tokens. This may be one of the weakness of the BSC network that must be repaired.
Or, did you do something previously with the transaction after using the BSC network? SO, you will get always the new tokens in your wallet?

Well, I read about replacing or changing the different wallets. but also know that sometimes, we really don't need t switch the wallet because the wallet has been ours and we are enjoyig using the wallet so far, withgas fee inside.

This is nothing new. The problem started way back with Waves because of the cheap fees to create a new token, and because the functionality to create a token and do a mass airdrop became very easy to do.  The problem is in displaying tokens as after a while you have to scroll through many lists of tokens to get to the valuable tokens. What Waves implemented was a verification system as well as a system where you can hide the junk. This is perhaps something that BSC devs have to look into to replicate.

I'm reading some suggestions of creating a new wallet so you won't see those unwanted airdropped tokens anymore. I assume they are also talking about non-custodial wallets like Metamask. The problem with that is you can still receive some random tokens if you transact with your new address since it can be seen on chain scanners. You cannot filter them out unless you're using wallets that do not support new tokens.

Im still receiving more and more dusting tokens from the scammers and shit tokens in my wallet. Those scammers are trying so hard. No way for you to stop it. The tokens are coming from the another address that you can't even blockchain caused by it was running on the decentralized blockchain even though if it was running on the centralized blockchain and you can't even block it.
Just leave it and ignore it. This will fix your problem and you didn't even think about how to with shitty tokens that being sent in your wallet.
Well, it is just boring at this point, I have about 19 of them just on my 2022 wallet, and that is telling you something. It hasn't even been a 3 full months and I have 19 dust attacks and they are expecting you to try to cash that out and get hacked. I get that it must have worked at certain point, but it will not be working right now and makes no sense. The weird thing about this is that they are spending some money on it.

I do not know how much, but if they are sending tokens to thousands of people, that means they must be spending a good chunk of money as well. This also tells me that if they are willing to spend that much, they must be making some money to keep doing it.

No solution for this. Those tokens will keep come soon. No way to prevent this to happen as the transaction was coming from the outside and the receiver has nothing to do other than always try to never touch such token.
The transaction in the blockchain was irreversible. The airdrop can't be stopped until the scammers will disappear from the BSC chain. Im also being disturbed by these garbage tokens that keep coming to my wallet but that's very sad that i can do nothing for that like you. I do feel how annoying those scam tokens are.

I think that this question can't be answered. The blockchain was permanent.

I believe there's no way to halt those incoming token transactions in your wallet address because it was free to send in the blockchain network to any address so I guess its better to let those tokens stay there in your wallet and just let them remain idle, I dont think it will pose some danger in your other tokens if you will not interact with those tokens address and smart contracts for me thats the better solution just dont bother with those spam tokens let it be there and rot.

If you're still uncomfortable with it, changing your wallet regularly is a solution to part of the problem. Not only BSC, but also ERC20 Matic... all face a similar situation, which is a scam token if you accidentally grant the right to connect to those tokens. It's always better to be clear about what you have to avoid mistakes. Most of the time, only those who are new to this market and are not used to using it will be caught off guard by something like this.

If you are disturbed by all the tokens then never use a wallet address where youn store your main assets, it is better to use a different address so that there is no need to look at all the tokens, meaning that as mentioned by the members above there is no way to stop it other than sent your valueable asset to the new address, and better not to revealed wallet address that you always use to hold valuable tokens especially for following the airdrop.

Moving tokens to a new address wont help. I think that these garbage token distributors scan network and automatically distribute them to active wallets. Which means that as soon as you move your tokens from old to a new wallet, the fact that you have received tokens in new wallet will trigger script to start to litter your new wallet. This garbage tokens is a plague of cheap blockchains. Plague that can not be cured or beaten. The best solution is to ignore them and turn off notifications from bot/script/wallets.

Well said. There is no solution to stop receiving these useless coins, the only way to keep your wallet safe is to never try to add them in your wallet to sell them on any DEX because fee will be deducted but sale won't be executed as well as  it will compromise security of your wallet.

For people who have enough for investing may find this annoying and I get that. But to others, it would be a blessing, lol. But seriously, the only thing way I can see to go around this problem is changing wallet. A temporary solution and quite a hassle. Otherwise, you should just ignore those alts. Who knows though, theyight go up in value which is enough for fees or coffee. Another solution would he to separate swing trading wallet to hodling wallet. Hope this helps.

New altcoins that suddenly enter your wallet address will be tokens that have no price because some of these tokens look like tokens that can take the contents of your wallet, some of my friends had a dusting attack when they swapped, the token suddenly it was in the wallet address and he tried to sell it, a few weeks later some usdt went missing in the BSC wallet he had and I suggested he move the other tokens he had bought so the same thing doesn't happen

To be able to stop receiving BSC airdrops tokens, a persons should stop using BSC network at all. Switch to Bitcoin, or use only exchange addresses to receive altcoins you need (warning, this method is dangerous and can cause money loss). There is no solution to this problem, as there is no solution to stop receiving spam emails even in spam box.

It is easy to ignore them, because you know your every altcoin as you got them on purpose, and all the the rest is junk. Rule of cryptocurrency - no one will ever send you something valuable for free or just because.
Yeah that really true stop using metamask or trustwallet with network BSC and never make any transaction about sending or receiving coin exactly not any new airdrop token will arrive in your wallet. I think with easy and lower fees value from BNB make thousand kinds of BSC token airdrop and dusting attack token arrived every day in our wallet depending how ever we made transaction on BSC Network, every day I received about three until five kinds of token airdrop scam because usually I active on trade with BSC network coin on dapp exchange market and I always get token airdrop BSC coin in my wallet.

The trick is to replace your wallet with a new wallet.
Because to make your wallet clean and no obscure tokens sent is impossible, even if you dispose of the tokens by sending them to wallet burn, it will only open access to your wallet for the bad guys who sent the tokens. They call this token dusting. A method that can make gaining wallet access by sending tokens, then gaining access via wallet connection gap to dapps or doing other transactions from that smart contract.
It's better to change your wallet because that means your wallet will be vulnerable to token dusting attacks, change your wallet and store your assets in a new wallet, it will be safe.

There is no single way to do this, what you can try is as much as possible to always check incoming token transactions so that you are not fooled by them.

If you use a non-custodial wallet application like Trust Wallet, you can avoid these obscure tokens by only displaying the tokens that you want to appear on your wallet homepage.

You will not be able to stop your BSC airdrop because the airdrop function is coded in the blockchain smart contract. In my opinion, like you said even if it is exchanged it does not necessarily have a price and beware of giveaway and airdrop fraud modes that ask for crypto transfers. Remember there are so many crimes in the crypto world, you have to be very, very vigilant!

Yes I understand and you are not alone, some of my wallets have received coming from airdrop I never participated in, it's a trap don't ever think of connecting your wallet to exchange where these tokens are being traded that you don't know, some of these airdrops are promotion instead of launching a campaign they do that so wallet owner will be aware of the existence of their project, this happens because transaction fee is very cheap, they can send to hundreds or thousands of wallet, these are cheap tokens, I have over 10 tokens coming from airdrops I never remember participating.

I don't think you would ever stop receiving that tokens, I receive a lot of BSC tokens and they are not airdropped they are scam coins so whatever happened don't ever use take or give attention to those coins, if you are going to take a look at the bscscan.com/ you can see the coins you have received and you can't do anything about it but what you can do is manually edit your metamask and only add the coins you know and you have and don't include the one that you received randomly.

I think no one is safe with those fake airdrops but the good thing is you can always hide them from your Metamask and pretend as if they are not there. It's like a spam email where almost everyone has it in their wallet. The problem here is, they might use it for their own advantage which is to scam those people who are new in this industry or they wanna make you confused about something. Nevertheless, I'm sure this scam has already had some victims that's why they keep doing it and send huge numbers of shit BSC tokens to our wallet.

If you have been using the wallet for a long time and you have connected your wallet a lot with various dapps, there is no solution.
Because transactions on the blockchain cannot be canceled / stopped, if you still want to use your wallet safely,
never transact with tokens that you receive but you don't know.
They are called token dusting, to find loopholes to access your wallet and retrieve all your wallets. Yes, that's creepy.
Another solution is, you have to change your main wallet and move all your assets to a new wallet.

No way, those that have recorded your BSC wallet address are just going to keep you sending dust amounts for their airdrops because it is a dust attack.
Do you remember where you've sent or posted your BSC wallet address? Maybe that entity had your record and sent it to those projects that are doing airdrops.

They sending tokens to monitor those wallet that are active and possibly planning to hack overtime. I had some tokens too but I just ignore it even they have value on etherscan since it could be fake anyway. Just leave it be and your safe.

There are some choices

1. Don't touch those tokens.
2. Migrate to a new wallet that is not yet known by scammers and hackers.

The thing is when you are seeing it that some tokens appeared in your wallet and this can be a bad thing for sure. I meant there are so many possibilities that can happen with it.

I think that you have no other choice rather than always try to take the token that you think that's legit. I have been seeing my wallet got spammed by bunch of scam tokens but as long as i was not touching it and that's fine for me.

So many people are also being trapped by the dusting attack. that's why you must always be careful with new tokens sent by scammers.

New unknown tokens usually enter through the dapps connection that we connect to the wallet, and also our wallet data that
is registered in the telegram airdrop bot, usually those who run away with their airdrop project just have our wallet data to send token dusting.
This is really annoying, even I myself am always sent tokens that I never follow, the solution I use is to change my wallet or revoke on unrekt.
The important thing for now, is never to put a lot of assets when the wallet is exposed to token dusting, even if you never touch the token directly.
immediately transfer your assets to a new wallet I'm sure it will be more secure.

The short answer to the topic title, No.

As pesky as it can be, it doesn't do you any harm as long as you DO NOT interact with those tokens.
Interactions like trying to swap or sell it or even visiting those token's website and connecting your wallet to them could get you in trouble. Trouble like getting hacked and having your pc/smartphone injected with a virus that changes your copied wallet address to a hacker's wallet address, etc.

So, the best way to deal with them is to just ignore them. Just let them sit in your wallet.
Another option that is pretty obvious is to just use another wallet address for every transaction you make.

I think maybe the OP should just accept this. No problem if you don't touch it. It's harmless to anyone who doesn't care. I've read about some losing money for accepting those tokens. It's all too common on most major platforms. But anyway, it's not too hard to detect if they are scams or not, and it shouldn't be too much of a problem to have them appear in your wallet Smiley

There is no definite solution for that. If you want the same wallet to block transactions that enter your wallet because here it is decentralized.
The final solution is, you have to change your wallet if you feel that the incoming token interferes with your convenience in transacting.
Some of the incoming tokens are basically viruses that want your assets, if you are stuck with transactions such as approving their smart contracts, then they will be able to access your wallet without you knowing, that is called token dusting.
I often experience this, but you can prevent it by reducing the connection to dapps from your wallet, and if you transact on dexswap, you immediately revoked the dapps from being approved. usually i use unrekt https://app.unrekt.net/

Trough your wallet active for receiving or make swap on pancake exchange market you will able to received thousand fake, scam or BSC airdrop token, I think is not about with BSC airdrop token but exactly as scam token arrive in your wallet after you make transaction between sending or receiving coin from exchange market or sending from other wallet. We can't removed scam or dusting attack token in our address because have several coin I try to send other wallet but keep failed and better left it without care with how many kind of BSC airdrop token received in your wallet.

It is not a serious problem in this space. I believe we are all familiar with token scams. I frequently receive them as well; simply write the transaction on the address and it will be sent to you. I've read about how hackers type wallet information, and it appears that most newcomers make mistakes with these tokens. Anyway, don't worry about it. If you find them annoying, you can change your wallet regularly. That's the way I chose to handle this problem.

If indeed you have doubts about your address, you should immediately create a new address and after that you send your valuable tokens to your container address so that it is safer if you are attacked by phishing or hackers who want to steal your tokens, so you will be more  calm.
Because there really is no way to stop sending free tokens to your address, which many of you may already know.

Basically there is no need for authentication to receive a transaction on blockchain only the sender can decide so it's literally not possible to stop the receiving transactions that's why many forum members advices don't use your primary wallet address for airdrop and free tokens.

Now the solution can be creating new wallet and move your BNB to there, but having tokens doesn't actually bother me.

I guess the sending is automatic. I think your address is already included in the contract. Once an address qualifies for these airdropped BSC tokens, then they will receive it automatically. The sending transactions are not done manually so I think it would be hard, even impossible, to make yourself an exception to this.

Even Vitalik Buterin is not happy or even annoyed with this because he's been receiving all kinds of Ethereum-based airdropped tokens, many of them he doesn't even support.

Using a different address/wallet is the only solution here. Once someone knows your address, anyone can send some tokens there, that's why even if you did some transactions on some platform, they can already know it.
Some people are doing advertisements by just sending random tokens to some addresses. But for me, I will just ignore it.

It's not possible to do that. It's caused by the transaction can't be prevented or blocked. the only way for you to migrate from your wallet to the another wallet that can be considered as a new wallet.

Becareful with it. It may be a dusting attack that already created by the hacked to steal your tokens. There's no way other than never try to touch it. It can be a trap. You must move your token to the new wallet or just keep it forever.

I do understand about that and im sure about that

I've never had anything like that, if I get it too, of course, I don't mind keeping it in my wallet and letting that shitcoin settles forever in there. I don't know if it's dangerous or not. but if someone said it would threaten my detail account, I will move everything to a new wallet.
