In Blockchain.info, there is an option to set the fee. You can try very small fees, such as 2 Sat/Byte or 5 Sat/Byte. At the former rate, sending an average transaciton will cost you around $0.03. Any fee less than that has no chance of confirmation.
It takes a longer to sent the transaction if you give small amount of the fee i think your transaction will take long to be receive.
If you really want to sent your transaction fast better to increase the miners fee and check this site if what cheapest is the best to sent your transaction fast..  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0
And I think better to use a wallet like electrum and i think you can change the miners fee in preferences and reduce and you can transact a small transaction fee..

It's not many things what you can do to avoid high fees for small transactions. Some wallets like Xapo and Coinbase offers free off-chain transactions. But, your recipient have to use that wallet. And I'm not sure that you can send such small amounts there.
Another option, you can send small payments by using Faucethub API. But again, your recipient has to be user of this service.

There is no other way to don't pay fees even small fees when you are sending small bits to another person because the average fees are already set and it is either you will send with having a higher fees than the current amount or you will be wise and only send big amounts with big fees so you will no longer feel the big fees.

Always check the transaction size in bytes and use this site: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to determine the amount of fees necessary for speedy confirmation.
You can use lower then recommended fees but your Tx may take longer to confirm.

Thanks! This is a useful site!

Unfortunately, that means that if you're sending a small transaction, it's likely to still be large enough in terms of data to have a high fee and there's not a lot you can do about that.

Sadly this (for you, not bitcoin).
Bitcoin is not designed to be a micro-transaction system. Its more like store of value, digital gold.

You could buy an altcoin with low value per coin and decent volume to transfer. Afterwards the receiving party can exchange it to bitcoin. It will be hard to take off the exchange though as that still requires fees.

E.g. dogecoin is only 0.04 cents or 0.0004 USD at the moment. This means you could buy around 125 doge for the bitcoin you want to send. Then, transfering doge hardly costs anything (a fraction of a doge, which is basically nothing).

Hi. Thank you for the tool. I'm quite new to Bitcoin earning so could you explain how to check the transaction size in byte?

You could have better explanation with his reply itself. Additionally note of it. Just leave the fees which is pre-defined for the minimum fees for transaction. It will take 30 to 40 minutes to complete the with 2 confirmations. Most of the wallet sites have low transaction amount from the wallet. I think mostly you could see. 0.0003 or 0.0005btc.
Thanks. Although I'm not fully understanding you, I guess you're telling me to leave the transaction size thing alone and forget about it.

You understood, that's correct. When you trying to transfer your bitcoins. if you didn't make any changes in the settings then you could find minimum fees for the transaction only available by default. Therefore your fund will also transfer with the 30 to 40 minutes. Try this in your transaction. you can able to understand it.

You can edit how much you want to send for a fee as a custom option. Defends what wallet you use they have different ways of changing it so look at the website you using your wallet from.

hello,

Recently I tried to send 50 bits($.05)  to someone but it costs me $.28 to send that amount of bits fro, blockchain

so is there any to send small bit with lesser fees

i think you can choose small fees if you use wallet for android phone or multibit or bitcoin core because in that software you can set how much fee that you want to send. but for your information, if you use small fee then you can not expecting to be arrived in short time maybe you need to waited to long because for seen in the network, i think the high fee will have high priority so if you want to send small amount with small fee then you should be patience before its seen in the network.

Unfortunately, you can't. Though still there has a chance, you're allowed to send bits without cost coinbase to coinbase. Like blockchain wallet small or big amount, must give an average percentage as a network fee that's priority your transaction. Nothing free in the world, try to give it priority. Otherwise, Xapo or coinbase will be recommended for now.

You can use the wallet xapo because from what I hear they negate the transaction fee but I've never tried and because you just send a little bitcoin so fee it feels a lot.

if they haven't already then they soon stop paying fees for anything other than internal transfers which are database only anyway. coinbase already have.

the op could try a wallet that gives them full control over the fees, many don't. you could then try an ultra low fee but don't be surprised if it never confirms.

Your choice of how much you pay for transaction fees is based on how large the transaction is in data (bytes) and is measured in satoshi per byte (one satoshi being the smallest unit of Bitcoin, a hundred millionth).

Unfortunately, that means that if you're sending a small transaction, it's likely to still be large enough in terms of data to have a high fee and there's not a lot you can do about that.  In most cases you'll be sending upwards of $5 and it won't be too significant, hopefully.
