so anyone knows how i can find password with wallet.dat or old computer where it is installed?
It is located at C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\....Sorry if mistake
If you deleted the wallet.dat file containing your bitcoin you may be out of luck. otherwise you're looking at a hassle but no real loss.

If you mean "how do I recover a forgotten password?", you have to brute force it. That assumes your password was weak or you remember enough of it to reduce the brute force attack search space. Otherwise, you're basically screwed.

Just writing some code
is there any way i can search just for notepad files in a computer so i can narrow my search? my thinking is i saved it SOMEWHERE on my old harddrive
The wallet files are not text files. There really is no way to search for them since file extensions mean nothing and there may not be any unique text inside of the files.

what if i forgot pw?

The passwords protect your wallet file so nobody who gets the file can steal your coins.  But that also means that if you have forgotten the password, there is no way to access the bitcoins.  Which is why Armory asks you to type in the password three times when you generate the wallet, and print big fat warnings against forgetting the password.

If you have a paper backup, then you can restore from it without knowing the password.

You will need to have access to the computer that originally had the wallet. Without it or a backup, you cannot access your Bitcoin.

From your original computer, make a digital backup of the wallet. Then copy the file it makes onto a USB drive and bring the file over to your new computer where you have installed Armory. Choose the "Import or Restore wallet" button and then choose your backup file. That will then import the wallet into Armory.
