They just need to invest in more hardware. A lot of it. As soon as possible. Like yesterday.

Otherwise opportunity seekers with a lot of cash will see an opportunity and take it (creating new, faster, better exchanges).

Everything'll work out either way  Smiley

More places accepting Bitcoin is the answer. Eliminating the need to exchange the currency solves the exchange problem.

Every saint has a past. Every sinner has a future.
I have this idea of a betting site on how much the price will be once the lag on Mt Gox is gone!

Don't centralize a de-centralized currency. Keep your bitcoins in your own wallet. If people spread out to different exchanges this would stabilize everything.
What are the alternatives?  Which exchanges are the real competitors to Mtgox?

Clearly, lag is a huge problem and so they offer free trades as a gesture of good will for lagging trading ...what are they thinking?

Is there nothing that can be done about this?
Seriously.  Ddos, stupid small bot orders, a system that doesn't work at Mtgox.
Nothing?
Is it on it's way to being fixed, or is it doomed to being manipulated like this by network attacks, forever?
Seriously.
