most of these are CEXs using non-custodial wallets.
Lets just say, you are right. However being non custodial wallet have their own private key for that wallet. Since exchange doesnt give those to their users. It can be called non custodial since they are the one holding it leaving customers nothing when they decide to exit the stage. Most of the exchanges that close ot gone now probably used this aspect of cex into their own agenda.

Yes,,, everybody knows that 99% of DEXs are not 100% decentralized, some even less than others!
Did you just say everyone?
Check out this thread, and you will realize that some people are still gullible about the state of "Decentralized exchanges" that use smart contracts

The only thing that is decentralized is custodial of funds, so in other words most of these are CEXs using non-custodial wallets.
Man, are you serious with statement, or you made some typo?

How does decentralized and custodial come on one sentence. Worse still, CEX and "Non-custodial wallets"? Obviously the own the private keys to the "noncustodial wallets"

Some p2p exchanges are very very close to full DEX though, for sure more private and safer than using an instant exchange that KYCs you,,,
Whether we like it or not, there will be a dex that enter the market and solves the KYC issue. The thing is some are more keen on using cex with their volumes and easy access. Not sure if Binance would remove that as SEC and some issues are grilling them hard. Anyway just wait for the moment where these chains can be easily transfer and trade on a single platform.

"DEXes"? I don't know any that exists. Most of the exchanges running on Ethereum or Binance smart chain contracts are just pseudo decentralized exchanges. There is nothing d3centralized about them.

You want to exchange different coins seamlessly? Just use instant swap exchanges like godex.io, fixedfloat.com etc

I still personally think they are a bit safer than custodial CEXs.

I've used centralized solutions like Binance and Kucoin, but prefer if exist some DEX for those conversions.
Hello you can do safepal exchange wallet. They are supporting different blockchain for swapping coins and tokens. I remember to swap some btc to eth, and even trade my trx to bsc. Very easy to used and have their own non custodial wallet. So you could consider this as dex exchange too.

Do not take my full advice and of course do your own research but try out 2 DEXs:

Plasma Finance HyperDEX
or
1inch Protocol

Both these are aggregator DEX and they make it very simple to switch ETH to wrapped ETH, (ETH - wETH) and so on without any conversion fee, unlike if you use the bridge themselves as users above mention. You can switch back and forth actually,,, no fees Smiley

While you can exchange or convert coins/tokens from different blockchains on a CEX, it's not always possible completely with DEX but we may have that cross-chain swap across any blockchain with time with new interoperability focused chains like Polkadot.

However, you can still convert to tokens on a number of blockchains (but not all or so many yet) on some DEX like https://ethereum.bridgetonear.org/, but you will have to bridge from Ethereum to Near blockchain first. And mind you, most of the other blockchain tokens on the DEX such as wBTC are wrapped coins and you may have to unwrap them on the tokens mainnet.

Yes there are some dex or platform who provide bridge conversion, mainly those who has a lot of multichain assets like RSK for example. If you can list what assets you're using it will be easier to find which one you can use. I heard Liquality is quite good if you're dealing with ETH and BNB (BSC) quite often. Keep in mind that the fees might be way higher than CEX, mainly because ETH network is such a pain in the ass lately.

Binance Chain is a fork of Ethereum, the bridge is trivial, it is also possible to bridge to AVAX and Ethereum. Probably Polkadot will also have greate integrability with Ethereum variants( not sure).

It is relatively easy to develop a very especific solution to bridge two pair of specific coins, but it is very restrictive, and it looks like that there are no such solution to integrate lots of blockchains. I know, it is a hard problem, may be impossible without treat each pair of coins and build a specific bridge.

Thanks for RSK, will research into, interesting.

You will have to go on several DEX to convert because ADA and SOL are two different platform tokens as well which have their own DEX. There are many ADA dex, I'm not sure if they are working already and so are for SOL, they have their own DEX. For BTC and ETH, I would use the WAVES dex.

Will look into WAVES, thanks.

Is there some solution, descentralized and non custodial, to converse coins of totaly unrelated blockchains like BTC, ETH, SOL, ADA...?

I've used centralized solutions like Binance and Kucoin, but prefer if exist some DEX for those conversions.
Its possible with some coins but its not entirely same as the traditional centralized exchange conversion because it all deals with smart contracts so if you want to trade btc for eth then you have to convert it into wrapped BTC then you can trade on decentralized exchange.

Or you can go with p2p platforms which now supports multiple currencies.
