Its ok to avoid the market for now but if there’s an opportunity to buy don’t be afraid to do so because that is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you might not be able to buy again at a cheaper price if you missed it. BTC and ETH are my only choice based on the list, they are good enough to rise again in long term, better to buy it now.
Good choices and many of the holders have the same choice and don't want to extend into other altcoins in the meantime. It's like maximum the full potential of that holding while we're in this situation and someday, people will see the importance of investing in reputable and strong cryptos.
It's also a way to avoid yourself being too emotional from what you see with the others that have been boasting their profits from those random altcoins they've picked.
There may be many coins that are relatively good, but how many of us thought that LUNA was a very good and forward-looking coin? and what happened silenced many especially those who are enthusiastic and are here just because they like their currency it is obvious that the adoption of BTC is still lacking but it is on the right track but eventually the only currency for investment real and that it doesn't matter if it goes down because it will go up and everyone will win it's BTC, there is no other cryptocurrency that is equal to it and I don't think one like this will come out, it would not have competition anywhere, for me it is the safest, even so buying in a bearish market even more so.

In my opinion Bitcoin (BTC)
Ethereum (ETH)
Polygon
With additional you can do like BNB. By the way btc and eth both also good currency for long term investment. However, the amount of your profit will be higher only when you can buy at a deep price. So do more research on trading because you can know when the deep price will start by help trading.

Only 3 in your list that are good to hold in the long term which are Bitcoin, Ethereum and Matic,  And besides there are still other altcoins where I think is better for Apecoin, Aave, and Astar. Just try look around in this industry more mate.

I think, bitcoin is the best coin to invest in this season because the price has dropped down to $19,000 showed that the price can increase higher any moment from this month of June to allow long term investors smile again. It is favourable to invest on bitcoin because bitcoin still remain the king among other cryptocurrencies, which it is more favorable investment than others coins which are not preparing to make their investors smile. I believe many long term investors will really use this period to prepare well for a better future by investing a huge amount of money on bitcoin.

You were right in this one dude, Aside from that Bitcoin is the top brand in the cryptocurrency the chances is very high for us to earn in the future, as you can see they maybe dropped now but the volume remain growing in the market, in which I think it will take a launch at any moment in the market. Let's hold now!

Bitcoin is a good buy at these prices if you believe that bitcoin dominance will increase and altcoins will stay down but we are already seeing some altcoins recover faster than bitcon. Maybe people don't want bit-con anymore and want alts. They are tired of bitcon being pumped and dumped and want good projects like HBAR and ICP to succeed.

for long term i only trust bitcoin and ethereum. for the others I have not dared to enter. because after all the decline and increase is very fast. So the risk is high in the long term. Most altcoins are not suitable for long-term investments. but many also have 2x the potential or even more for the long term.
The great potential of each altcoin is also very balanced with the risks that must be faced because when an altcoin can easily be doubled, the altcoin can also decrease by three times so it is very important to understand market conditions when buying it. And for Bitcoin and Ethereum it's actually the same, but since both are already quite well known in the market and the crypto space, the potential to recover faster and exceed doubling is also very large, but for the risk it won't be much different from an increase.

I also agree with you about the long-term interest in BTC and ETH, but not everyone is aware enough and develops a good plan to bring about an investment process without mistakes. If diversity is sufficient, I believe that starting and operating consistently to balance risks and opportunities for the initial investment is sufficient.

I agree in terms of long-term investment for crypto above, if you are looking for some of the top investment coins in the future, this type of crypto falls into that category, for me it is worth considering going forward.

Besides BTC and ETH, crypto matic types, ape, aave types of coins that are coveted by many investors and types of coins live in the crypto market.

I will take bigger percentage for these two coins both Bitcoin and also ETH. Their portions must be bigger than other altcoins because they are more trusted and have higher chance to survive and then rise up during the next bullish.
For other altcoins, well, not too bad.
But, I don't know if Astar (ASTR) is exactly a good choice for this current era?

If I will be choosing only 1,i will choose bitcoin. I am not familiar with some other coins listed, if he will going to invest since it is still bear market, I suggest to buy only those top 1-20 in the market. It is more stable and less likely to turn into rug especially for bitcoin and eth. It is not bad to invest to new coins, but we need to make sure that it is safe enough though.
Bitcoin is the main option to choose. But, I am also sure that you know Ethereum and this is also good and worthy for long-term investment. Actually, top 20 doesn't mean the price is stable. But we know that they probably have higher chances to survive although may not all of them.

The market continues to red and bitcoin has dropped more than 40% in 10 days, with this fact it makes me prefer to hold long term, maybe the correction is not over and it's better never to see the latest price again so we can focus on long term goals and of course don't panic to sell.
When you're at losses, it's best to avoid looking at the charts because it's going to discourage you. But if you're a long term investor, there's no need for you to look at it at most times.
So, while you're holding bitcoin and ethereum, they really are good for long term holding so that you won't mess around as it teaches you how to be a patient person.
Well, I've from that and it's effective when you don't know what to do.

I do not consider any coin other than Bitcoin and ethereum suitable for long term investment. Because in my 5 years of experience I see that only Bitcoin and ethereum are trusted coin. There are other coins today but not tomorrow. For example, in 2017 Litecoin was in the top ten coins but not now. Again in 2021 DogeCoin was at the top of the discussion but during the next bullrun maybe any other coin will be top of the discussion. Also the destruction of Luna coin in 2022.
May you can't because of some points and market considerations but it was not only BTC and ETH that are suitable for long-term investment, we may also consider those coins that are in the top 10 coins. For many years, they still remain in the market and this is a big factor to look at. Of course, not meme coins nor those projects in hyped, we look for those projects that have a working product.

As to the list of OP, only the 3 coins I may consider BTC, ETH, and Polygon...well the rest, I don't know...I have no confidence in them.

There's no harm in investing with top coins as well as we know their potential to resist the bearish situation. Bitcoin and Ethereum are undoubtedly good coins especially when it comes to long-term investment but there are still other coins that are worth investing in. On the given list, Polygon is also one of my picks. Sometimes, we have to risk and trust good coins, we only have to do research especially if we're doubting.

These 3 coins From your choice is better for long term holding. But others 3 coins are not good for holding. there coins holding is high risky. you can definitely bought BTC,ETH,MATIC and also BNB. Now the market is declining.  And Bitcoin has a potential to go up to $13k.  So wait a while without investing now.  And keep buying these 4 coins When it reaches the target
BTC, ETH, and MATIC for the long term are indeed very good because it has been proven that they are part of the top 10 coinmarketcap,
where their fundamentals have very strong strength, as well as their community, so I also agree, and if I may I recommend Solana from on choosing BNB

Bitcoin and Etherium are the king of all coins. Besides, many coins have also improved. I think Bitcoin Etherium is suitable for long term investment. Many people do not like long term investment.  Some investors want to make more profit by making short term investments.Bitcoin and Etherium will not be a good choice for them. I will suggest Altcoin for short term investment. There are now a lot of altcoins that are making quite a good profit on short term investments.BNB, Sola and Matic coins are very profitable because they are much dump price now.I think the price of these will be pumped very soon

The risk of your portfolio is too high because you are giving the same weight to those relatively unknown altcoins than the importance that you are giving to bitcoin and ethereum, in my opinion bitcoin and ethereum should at minimum constitute 67% of your portfolio, and then you could think about how to distribute the remaining 33% of your capital to the rest of the coins.

Agree, he has evenly distributed his assets among coins, it is too risky to put too much on Ape, the rest of the altcoins are potential alts but they are still altcoins and still carry unforeseeable risks. If it were me, I would put 70% of my assets in bitcoin and ethereum, the rest I will buy altcoins.
Although the selection is very good, I think things have to be taken into consideration, first if the BTC falls in price the other coins bleed noticeably, if on the contrary the BTC goes up, these coins will reach a good minimum x3, but taking into account the fundamentals of the world, do you think it is good to invest in altcoins? Even so, being ETH, I think it would be a bit dangerous, some analysts predict that BTC can continue to fall much more, although they are quite eloquent about it, I prefer that it will not go down that much, but that it will be a stretch full of pure corrections.

Always a chance to make lots of money in cheap alts but more likely you lose than win. Put the majority of your wealth in the more well established coins. Obviously not likely to do a 100,000 x price move but definitely more guarantee of profits without being rugged.

At the moment to invest in the long term of course we have to choose potential coins so that later we can get satisfactory results, from all the coins you mentioned then bitcoin, and ethereum is my pick and I dare not say that the others are worth holding because the development of each coin is definitely different, and it really depends on the team that manages the project, but it is very different from bitcoin and ethereum because both coins are already very promising.

Agree, Ethereum is preferred and growing every year with price and other things. so I'm also more interested in investing in Ethereum than new coins that have a sweet promise to make big profits in the future. But you should still not underestimate the other coins that already have good graphics every year. There are many coins that you will want to study to see if the price will grow or fall in the future.

Polygon Ethereum and Apecoin are awesome choices to invest long term. There are thousands of alternative coins and you have to make wise investment choices to hit the target in this journey. Btc and Eth are top coins worth holding long term, other mentioned coins will give you good ROI too.

Once more, we cannot guarantee if they are good or not for the long term. But at least, several options that you have listed are good choices because of their track records.
1/6 Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin of course always becomes the first choice for long-term investment and I think that we can put more percentage of Bitcoin investment over altcoins.

1/6 Ethereum (ETH)
1/6 Polygon (MATIC)
1/6 Aave (AAVE)
Additionally, the following lists are also considered good optios. However, good or not, altcoins always have higher risks to investors. Among these three, Ethereum may become the fewer risk. Well, I will personally add BNB for the future long term investment because of its utility and also fundamentals by Binance.

Bitcoin, Ethereuem, Matic these three coins are very good for us to invest in, especially for the long term because all three have so far gained very high popularity among the public so that the fundamentals of the coin are getting stronger, while like ApeCoin and Astra, I'm honestly not very interested in including it. into the portfolio because I'm not too sure if they can provide better returns than BTC, ETH and MATIC in the future.

Really, if I had to choose only one currency, I would choose BTC without a doubt, the reason is simple, I know that BTC will never disappoint in my life, also that the long-term trend of BTC is bullish, and this is something which is headed for the future, so if you buy BTC today for $30k, it may be that in 10 years the BTC will be worth about $200k, then it may be that all that profit accumulates and resolves a lot, this is winning and that is what it is sought, however I think that the selection it has is very good, but to all those coins I would add the SOLANA coin.

it all comes back to project and team development. it is different for BTC and ETH. Of course, many traders and investors are very confident in these two assets. especially if there is a downturn, buying both may be mandatory for some people.
but I understand, that all these coins are worth investing, at least for one year. or until we wait for the next bull to come. So far all these projects have shown good progress. my belief is more specific to Matic.
there is no need to doubt about Matic, because this project also has good fundamentals,
but investing in a bear market like this will be very difficult, because the bottom is not necessarily a bottom,
a lot of support has been passed, so make sure we learn about TA and of course support and resistant.

I agree with others, I would remove Ape, Aave, Astr from the list and replace it with other 3 ones. BNB would be the first thing I would put in, LTC would be another and the last position could go towards one of those Matic competitors, avax/sol/dot type of thing. Or you could go with a bit more long term and pick Ripple but I never really liked ripple, it has been quite low and didn't even break 2018 ATH at all, so that could be a problem. In that case, ADA seems to be the only that has been around for many years and still looks promising. I know they failed to deliver a good working product so far, but they are not too far away from providing it either.

I will also choose bitcoin, ethereum and matic, I know the remaining 3 coins but will not invest in them right now. The market is still bleak and we still don't know how it will do tomorrow, the whole market is heavily dependent on the direction of bitcoin. If bitcoin continues to go down, I don't think the other 3 coins can survive or hold at the current price, but if we hold bitcoin, ethereum it will benefit us in the long time.
I chose those 3 coins because the potential for improvement is higher than the other 3 coins. The market is still like this and there is a downtrend. And now, the price has already touched $28k and we don't know when the price will reverse. It also seems to have an impact on other coins. It is a good time to analyze the direction of its movement. Who knows, we can buy those 3 coins at a low price.

If we have a target for long term investment then I will choose 2 coins namely Polygon and Apecoin, even though bitcoin and ethereum are giant and become a measure for the value of cryptocurrencies but we have to see opportunities for big profits, bitcoin and ethereum will be difficult to profit 100% in a year, but Apecoin and MATIC can make us 500% profit in a year.

It feels like a list that was made by random dice rolling and nothing more. I get the btc and eth part, then maybe matic would make sense as well even though it is not a known and loved one as much as btc and eth, but at least it is still a known one. after that it makes absolutely no sense at all. Apecoin? Really, so you are telling me that OP is asking if Ape which was created based on some overhyped NFT project, is a good coin to invest or not?

Aave, which already seen its prime, or even Astar, which is a coin I am hearing for the first time ever. This wasn't done to ask a serious question, OP just wanted to troll and nothing more, nobody would make a portfolio like this, at least nobody should.

All the coins you choose are coins that do have a high potential to develop in the future, although currently a price drop is happening but we can make a decision to hold these coins such as bitcoin, ethereum and polygons, and for others it may have less potential than the three coins, but if you have a large capital then buy all three coins I don't think it's wrong.
I do not know about APE, AAVE, or ASTR as those coins are new. But I have a big expectation for BTC, ETH, and MATIC and I guess those coins can increase again in the long term. But those three coins need to wait a while as the market is not moving well, and even the price is now down deeper than yesterday. But it is just temporary and will start to increase so it is a good time to buy back all of those three coins and hold them for a while. When you see the price rise, you can sell it and take your profit.

I will also choose bitcoin, ethereum and matic, I know the remaining 3 coins but will not invest in them right now. Bitcoin and ethereum are the top choices and before we buy crypto for long term investment, we should do some research on the crypto we are going to buy.
mainly is coin basics, usability, tangible benefits, and it is a good crypto coin choice for long term in my opinion. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB), Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (dot), Avalanche (AVAX)

We should learn our lessons from the Luna fiasco, it was a solid and even in the top 10 but all of a sudden it was a failure and the price almost goes to 0.

And with that,  Apecoin and Astar seems to be questionable investment for me, just saying.

Better if you have BNB or ADA or your list.
what do you think about nee NFT p2e projects? are they good for the long term? and is there a bigger chance to get more profit than in crypto

There is still nothing to confirm the future of P2E will continue, P2E is also just a temporary trend in the market and its attraction has decreased significantly instead of the M2E trend. Plus the market is volatile so investing in p2e at this time is very risky, I recommend looking for the top coins to hold during this time instead of investing in new projects or uncertain coins sure about the future.

I prefer ETH not 1/6 but 100% if you can and I think ETH will be the winner in the future. Nah, When it comes to investing, there are many things to consider potential return on investment, risk factors, diversification, and more. But almost all investors have one thing in common they want their capital to grow over time. Never invest more than 20% of your total possible savings on cryptocurrencies, unless you researched everything and know what is happening.

Maybe the percentage will be like bitcoin for 50%, ethereum and matic for 25% of each.
I do not know about apecoin or astar but I know aave but I am not sure if that coin can increase unless there is a pump that will lift the price to the high price.
Focusing on bitcoin and a few altcoins will not confuse managing your coins because you can still watch all of the suggested coins without a problem.

You have a very good list for long term investment, but some of them has already make ground for this generation and holding them for Long term investment. Maybe you will not make a good profit the way we are seeing them. Bitcoin is a coin that if you hold long, it will only give you small preference of profit depending the length of holding while Ethereum is little different from bitcoin profiting for long investment. I even prefer Astar (ASTR), Aave (AAVE) and Polygon (MATIC) to hold, because cryptocurrencies appreciate in the market generally they are the ones that will give you profit than the one you mentioned.

In general, any long-term investment can only benefit you and you need to determine the value of what you asked for when you make an investment in a long-term investment. Your portfolio is good. In which btc, ether, matic, app I support these four. So in my case, you should pay attention to one thing in long term investment, when you decide to sell, this is the only important thing.

well, most of the ones on the list you provided are good coins, but personally I will do a selection on the bottom 3 coins, and hold bitcoin, ethereum, and matic in your portfolio, and if you feel that it's still lacking, then it would be great if you include BNB in your list. however, if you feel that this is the list you want, I think Ape needs to be removed as his current development is not that great.
For the top 3 coins, be it Bitcoin, Ethereum, Matic, I think it's right and for the long term it's also good,
but it seems lacking in the absence of BNB but again everyone has their own preferences,
The most important thing is to do research first before determining it all

Dividing the risk and buying different coins is always the right strategy. I am constantly trying to implement this choice of yours. This is a very good compilation of good crypto projects. apart from Bitcoin which is the history of Cryptocurrency, altcoins like Ethereum, Polygon and the other listed tokens are good to hold for a long time. The market is not stable right now especially now that the price of Bitcoin had gone down and had affected other cryptocurrencies to fall too. Buying these projects now that the crypto market is in a bear mood will be a good idea. We buy at the dip and sell at the topic the mindset of a smart trader.

yes it's a good list. As per your portfolios and you were trying to mix safe and risky investment. I know that if astar as not even a bad token. This token is having its own blockchain and it's slowly growing just like what polygon did in the past. So your portfolios is well balanced and proportional based on the some tokens that act as safe investment or less volatile asset and the rest act as a risky investment. We know that in the crypto if no pain no gain and it seems you are trying to build a balanced portfolio.
You can consider it as a good list as your reference as investment.

1/6 invested in bitcoin looks too low. It's interesting that bitcoin investment represents the largest portion of an investor's portfolio. On the most extreme of the cases I would put at least 50% of the total amout to be invested in bitcoin, while being conservative this percentage should rise to 80%. About the preference of which altcoins to choose, it's up to each individual, but with the exception of ethereum, I don't feel confident investing on the other mentioned coins.

When investing in altcoins, I'm not interested only on their price increasement potential, but also on the features they offer for holding them, especially when attached to a crypto platform.

Wait until there is a bear market for 2 years, that's when you know who the men in crypto are from the kids. Matter of fact most of the projects perform well due to the hype such as DEFI or NFT hype but as soon as the hype is gone, the coins or token also die

Ethereum and Bitcoin will still be there, thou not so profitable like altcoins. Try looking into coins/projects that have stood the taste of time, like Doge (though I am not sure if it will be very popular again like it was recently)
you're right, the hype really feels like a doge that was pumped for only a moment even though it didn't return to the actual price in the past, shiba inu matic and maybe Luna what is currently happening.
I did hit and run for 1 token in my daily trading friend. only a few percent for scalping.

I also save bitcoin, indeed the risk is not like tokens that I have thousands of units even though the decimal is smaller if the dump is only reduced very minimally.
For me, bounty hunters leave a small fee and stable coins for scalping might make it a little easier for daily activities rather than having to put my money long-term in shitcoins or other altcoins.

In my opinion, these three coins are good investments, but we still cannot guarantee every coin can rise up multiple times in the next bullish. However, at least, we have chosen the top coins.
Actually, the best coin for the long term is only Bitcoin that is commonly offering its best return after its halving.
For altcoins, it seems that still cannot predict whether it will be or not. But commonly as long as they s=can survive during this bearish market, they have bigger chance to rise up.

For me, BTC will always be a top choice if you want for long-term investment.
ETH is also a very good addition also as the foundation is really solid.
And with Vitalik leading this platform, I don't think he will disappear because of money.
Matic is also a promising network, though its progress in the market still depends on the team behind it.
With Apecoin, I can say, I am not confident with this project. It can easily go down once this meme-related projects are not popular anymore.
Though they are promoting web 3.0 concept here, but don't know exactly the long-term goals of the team here.
They have monkey-animated faces in their profiles so we don't know their actual faces here.

The most likely reason of why the OP wants to distribute his cash in that way is because the OP wants to increase their profits during the short and long term, as they believe those coins have the potential to outperform bitcoin and ethereum during that time.

However, at least to me this seems like an unnecessary risk, we are now in a bear market and we know that most altcoins do not perform well during this time, as such the right move is to invest in coins which are solid and which have a zero chance of collapsing as luna did, and that means investing in bitcoin and ethereum almost exclusively.

The first two are great for long-term holding, no doubt about that. But the other four I might disagree.
Although I don't want to change it all because that is your decision. Just one tweak will be my suggestion and that's to put BNB (Binance coin) on the list. That way, you will have 3 of the most trusted and always on-demand coins that are being bought as an asset to be kept for a long time.
You could make it 1/7 or just change one on the list to preserve the 6 only options.

You cannot improve your investments in the long term by dividing them on the same market, meaning that what you are doing is not diversifying your investments, but rather weakening their value in the long term.

In short, your solution is to buy more Bitcoin in the long term.

In the short term you can invest in Ethereum, and Polygon (MATIC) (considering the failure of Ethereum to reach POS)

Other than that, all investments in altcoins should be based on a reason, for example, an update, soft-fork, hard-fork, good news, a listing, and so on.

The top two coins on your list, bitcoin and ethereum is the safest coin for long term investment. Polygon (MATIC) seems to be a safe coin to invest in but do your own research if you are willing to hold for long term. I would say remove APE coin from the list. It's a token with a very high volatility. Look at the chart and you will know what I am saying. The price gets pumped and dumped very often so it's not going to be a good coin for holding long term. Not sure about the rest three.

I think these are very good choices based on you are dividing some amounts info medium cap of tokens like polygon and ape token. i consider if we are still in the bearish market and the chance to recover will always there.

Those coins are good for long term but will you change some into the small cap tokens instead of betting into the all of big cap tokens in the market? i think this will make your portfolios more balance caused by when you are seeing it now if the small cap token has more chance to grow up compared with the big cap coin. I know that will become a safe investment for you but it's about how big the risk that will be the same as the profit that can be gotten anytime. I hope that if you will can consider it.

I think this list is good for long-term investment.  They have dedicated developers and have solid community.  They are also in the market for a long time.  Aside from that, you can also add Solana, ADA, and Tron to the list.

I think the NFT could be a long-term investment in the near future. I am following some interesting NFT projects, which seem to me will be successful and profitable soon. For example, one blockchain-based NFT game "reptile chronicles" has great potential. This project has deep and unique lore, this option will give the project to be fascinating for a long time. What do you think about it?

I don't see NFT as good for long-term investment because the way most of them were created is to money grab.  These NFT's economic model is designed to deteriorate in value over time because over-creation makes the supply beat demand.

If you hope that you will go through a huge number of options for your portfolio and the publication of these options will somehow help you to earn or not to lose money, then you are very wrong.
