Most marketing stuff related to crypto/altcoin have since moved into Telegram tbh, though there is still sufficient discussion going on in this board. Why not try to post what your project really is about in here to garner initial interest before getting into the good stuff: bounty, project development, investments etc. Just make it so that your topic is genuinely good plus talks about the substantial aspect of your coin which will be the main reason why you will be posting the topic for discussion.

I have been developing an algorithm that I and a few friends find to be a very interesting, fun, and perhaps even educational token.
Where would be the best place to start a discussion and get feedback about such a topic? Where would be a good place to find people who may be interested either in co-developing or funding a new token? I promise, I am not talking about a shitcoin, I have put in quite a lot of work into this and think not only the algorithm is worthwhile, even the idea and project backing it has value and is for long term. It is the focus of my life's work so I take it very seriously. I also value your time when I ask such a question and appreciate valuable feedback.

The altcoin discussion is for "Discussion of cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin." If what we are going to discuss about is an altcoin project, this board could be the right place. But for finding the right people who might be interested to team-up with you in developing your new token, you might bring that in the Service Announcements (Altcoins) board. If you already have an official announcement of your project, you may bring it in this section: Tokens (Altcoins).

thanks for the super quick reply. so I will start a new thread in this forum once I have gathered all my questions.
I would appreciate as well if anyone has suggestions for any other communities where I could simultaneously have a discussion.

well as far as BTC, altcoins and cryptocurrency in general you wont find a bigger forum then here Smiley
theres telegram groups  for crypto ive seen but their all so scattered, same with discord groups
just check out the different boards, im sure you will find all sorts of mini communities here

This section (altcoin discussion) would be the best place for starting your thread. Since you are discussing about token, just create your own discussion thread later.

If you want hire someone who experienced in development of your token, just post on service section on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
