Are they giving it some time before they transfer it to other wallets?
Yes, you already answer it yourself.

It's not about to think when or what will the scammer do with your coins, but you need to think how to not get scammed again in the future... of course you need to research and check about the credibility of the service first(whether it's wallet, exchange, casino, etc) before made any deposit to them.

If your transaction already confirmed (mean all the block confirmations was done) they must received your coin, just like how you made a transaction before.

But how do they benefit from that coin?
I can see all transaction details on https://bscscan.com

I can see the recipient address: the same as for my wallet at Exx.
I can see the balance: exact amount I transferred
I can see that there has been no transactions related to that address before or after mine.

I mean, sure the website could have all my password details in order to tamper with the 2-factor authentication and access my wallet, but…… the coin is still on the wallet address according to BSCscan.

So how will they actually use my coin and get benefit from it? The coin has no value by being at this address forever. Are they giving it some time before they transfer it to other wallets? Or what’s the idea here?

BSC is Binance Smart Chain, it's not a coin nor a token but it's a blockchain runned by Binance developer. The weird thing is you can't withdraw back your coin on this exchange, if your connection are smooth and not error... so we can assume this exchange is scam. It's just a typical fake error that the coders do to scam their customer.

If this is a scam, how will the scammers receive the funds? Or is it something else?

I wrote about my issue with the exchange called ”Exx” in some other posts, but now I am starting to wonder wheteher it is really a scam?

The exchange is called ”Exx” https://www.exx.com/ and has been around for a couple of years with decent reviews in the past.

Starting in 2021 plenty of negative reviews can be found on the internet with people claiming not being able to withdraw.

My personal experience. I transferred some BNB from Binance to Exx. On my account on Exx I don’t see any BNB balance, but I see BSC balance for the right amount. No idea why my BNB transfer was booked as BSC currency? Can’t trade or convert or anything with BSC.

Nevertheless, I tried to withdraw BSC back to Binance, but got the message: ”Network error, please refresh your screen and try again”.

Customer support not replying. Main support e-mail address is dead.

After that I made some research and found out many people not being able to withdraw from Exx. Almost all of these posts are from 2021.

My question is whether this really is a scam or what actually happens here?

I can follow my TxID and see the recipient address for the funds. (recipient address = my wallet address on Exx).

The balance is the same as I transferred. No transactions before or after that point at that address.

So is this really a scam?

Well, I cannot move my funds, but they are still there at the address. The address hasn't had any transactions before/after mine.

If this is a scam, how will the scammers receive the funds? Or is it something else?
