Its not a giveaway. Its a lottery where entry and prize are paid in btc
That was not the case for your other giveaway (paid in "Phreess").

As long as you pay in BTC, you can do it on the right board (Games and round). Every other coin/token is not allowed.

Sure, the archived thread was totally a giveaway as people didn't have to buy anything or spend any crypto/money.

But this lotto is about using btc or eth as entry and prize

EDIT: Oh yeah, you are right, I totally forgot there was an alt section for gabmling sites on altcoins

Is my proposition good enough?
No. You can't ask people to post on your thread for an altcoin giveaway.

Or what do you suggest I do?
Do the giveaway outside of the forum. Create a spreadsheet, use a third party tool or do it on your own website.

Like theymos said:

You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

edit: Ehm... were you paying in BTC? I thought you were because of the first line "we will be offering 0.5 BTC", but I just noticed you also wrote this on the now-deleted thread: "You will need an ETH wallet to get the coins."
The OP was actuallty offering an altcoin.

Quote from: Loyce.club
This first week's "Find the Number", the prize is 166,666.666666666666666667 Phreess (0.5 BTC)

To OP:
Don't post a same thing or you will be banned permanently this time.

By the way, you are so generous.
You give away 0.5 BTC weekly and you are also trying to create a gambling website with negative house edge.

Negative House Edge Crypto Casino

If I participate in your game and win, will you buy those tokens from me for 0.4 BTC? I am offering a 20% discount.

I wont mane the same mistake. Do you think the solution I proposed in the OP is good enough? I only plan to make a lottery but ask people to post in the lottery thread about their entries, but I also dont want to spam.

Is my proposition good enough? Or what do you suggest I do?

Thanks in advance Smiley

Where did you ask others to make such posts?

If it is your ANN thread, it can be considered as incentivized posts (pay for posts and bumps your ANN threads). That is prohibited as I know.

Additionally, the template for such post is bad. Why it is bad, IMO? It includes the amount of BTC and the address of the others. You know privacy is the most important thing bitcoiners want to have at the end and what bitcoin was created for. When they post like that, and their posts are scraped, their privacy are broken.

I was banned for asking people to post very small replies.
I'm not sure why exactly you got banned, but my guess is that you should be allowed to do that in the 'Games and rounds' board (which you did previously), based on theymos rules:

Most giveaway threads are no longer allowed in the Alternate cryptocurrencies sections. From now on, posting or replying to such threads could result in being banned. Existing threads will be locked.

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here.

The underlined part appers to only affect altcoin-related giveaways on the Altcoin board, and you are in agreement with the bolded part. So where is the catch?

edit: Ehm... were you paying in BTC? I thought you were because of the first line "we will be offering 0.5 BTC", but I just noticed you also wrote this on the now-deleted thread: "You will need an ETH wallet to get the coins."

You can only giveaway real Bitcoins.

I do not see anything wrong in it.

but I don't want to get banned again (I was banned for 30 days a few eweks ago)
You got banned for spamming?

I was banned as I had a new thread in games and rounds about a new game I had on the Phreess site, but I asked people to post a number between 0 and 255 in order to win a contest, so as the replies were between 1 and 3 characters, I was banned for asking people to post very small replies.

This is the archive link to that thread: https://archive.vn/mEptP

So, I'm making this question to proof the lotto is real and real people are participating.

If it was posted on a lotto thread I don't see any reason to consider it as spam.

If you want to avoid being banned on our forum make sure to follow the forum rules.
We have a list of forum rules you can read them all from here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657

Hey guys,

So i want to start a lotto and open a thread here in btctalk, but I don't want to get banned again (I was banned for 30 days a few eweks ago), so I wanted to ask if it's ok to ask people to post something in the format of:

Code:
Username: blahblah
Lotto Entered: Lotto #1
BTC Address Deposited to: 1auuebfiisise...
Message: I deposited X BTC for Lotto #1 with  address 3orgdgod...
Signed Message: ...

Obviously, I don't want to create spam, but I also want people to see the lotto is real and people are participating.

Any advice would be appreciated, guys!
