Oh boy! It had to be this way, sad. I know everyone of you understood my point and all of you do believe I was somewhat right. But your supremacy won't allow you to agree with me. I am not advocating ban for this, nor I want someone from DT to give red trust for that. All I was trying was to point out a classic case of signature spamming.

It's a kind of update. I think it is not an issue.

When he can edit his first post once, why did he need to create new post for other update. Second post doesn't even looks like update. It looks like a spin-off of first one.

PS: I created new account to create this thread because I don't want to attract any personal vendetta at all. Who knows whose the friend and whose the foe.
This bullshit alone makes this thread a joke. Go away.

You may think this to be a joke but you pretty much aware that members here will try their best to go through all my history and point out any silly mistake I did in past as a counter to this thread if I posted it from my main account.

This crime is unforgivable. I've banned him for life. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I didn't even find your comment funny at all. Try to spend more time with Lauda and suchmoon and improve your sarcasm.

A single instance of posting twice in one thread is not a big deal.
Hopefully no one tells OP about the Wall Observer thread. I've seen some members post in there 3 or even 4 times!

You are seasoned member, I hope you know signatures don't show in Wall Observer thread. So among all reasons of posting, I don't think anyone post in that thread to increase post count for signature campaign.

Well, well, well. I don't think there is need to keep this thread rolling any longer. Sayonara!

@OP I think you should have another look here:

3 posts in a row!

But please use another alt to post it.

The Wall Observer thread is not moderated anyway.
And I think we can't bother someone to moderate it.  Tongue

I don't understand how people can read that thread. I've tried following some of the conversation and it moves much too fast unless you can dedicate chunks of time to follow it.

The Wall Observer thread is not moderated anyway.

This could be a sign the person is only posting for pay, and his recent history should be reviewed for low effort posts. I don’t know the person and have no idea if this is the case.

A single instance of posting twice in one thread is not a big deal.

If you can only concern is about the one post, it would be better to use the report to moderator button and describe the concern.

Let me rephrase that...
I created this topic because I have a personal vendetta...
If we would ban people for this the whole WOT will be dead and probably a hundred will get nuked.

He posted two posts with a 12-hour gap between and it was clear that the situation changed, the topic was about a correction happening but the price going still, well, it did!

Ps.
He emphasized "Chipmixer participant", I wonder if it has anything to do with Darkstar_ reporting a lot of members recently  Grin

..i don't see anything wrong in his post..it's just so happen that he is answering some other replies and as far as i know,,it is not a big deal when you reply twice in other threads, for as long as you express your thoughts in a good way..

Hmm, for me it is not a big deal at all. Actually, I've seen same case on one of the threads there in our local board but the impression of our co-members are not the same with yours. Well, they didn't not bashed the poster they just advice him to avoid such thing because they said that you can merge 2 or more replies in one post from the first place.

Anyway, here's what I always do when I need to send multiple replies from different members, I quote their post first and then post a reply or just use -hr- (replace the dash with a bracket).

Wait, you have created an alt to post this? you have the right to post from the original account.
I guess he's just playing safe because he is dealing with a high ranked member. Probably I'll do the same thing if I'm in his position Grin.

Its not a problem, posting multiple posts one after the other in an personally created thread is not allowed, it gives an impression of multiple bumps. But posting twice in others thread is not an issue.

Also, I don't think anyone will criticize you or neg- trust you for asking this question so there was no problem in posting this from your original account.

Your not going to get negative for posting something like this. That being said this is a pointless thread, if you think they are spamming then use the "report to moderator". What they do with it will be your answer.

I don't see anything wrong. It's not a multipost, there are several posts in between. It's a post along the same idea as the first with more definition and likely in an effort to keep the discussion going with what had been posted in between.

I have been going through Press section when I noticed one of the Chipmixer participant posting in same thread twice.

Link to thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2019-05-13-btc-price-uptrend-despite-recent-correction-5142449

Post 1:
I would call it a small correction still... $500 within 24h while it was crawling at $4,000 not long ago and now up by ~50%. It's not a general trend as well. It's just happened yesterday, you never know what can happen this week, let's see how it goes. Anyway, I'm still happy lol, it remembers me 2017.

Edit: see yourself, we're back to $7,400 right now.
To the moon sir!  Cheesy

Post 2:
"THE" correction will come and it won't be just a $500 one. We will receive a slap soon enough, it could be ~$2k-$3k correction. The question is when? Because the price won't be able to continue like this. Look at now $8,100, if it continues the $20,000 will be hit this week. We know Bitcoin can be surprising but being realistic we know it's not possible (or Santa Claus is real?)

Nobody asked him question, nobody quoted his first post. But he came and created second reply. I don't see anything important in second post so that should be created at all. He could edit his point in first post itself. I want to know if this even allowed because it seems like mere attempt to earn more from signature campaign.
