I did promoting advantages of crypto in social media but my purpose is crypto community keep bigger and demand of it will be increase in the long term. The way these ICO's and new stand alone coins are advertised, and described on their websites, the pump and dump can happen naturally too. They hype it up that its the best new thing an that the coin will be able to do all these things, and than nothing happens. Let's take coinpoker as an example, it was hyped up, people believed in it, I believed in it, and what do we get, a recycled all grey poker client, strange kyc from another startup that requires last gen phone, unnecessary wallet verification that no one else requires. If we got bodog or 888poker quality poker with no kyc things would of been different I think. Pumping up a coin to a point where you can buy a Lamborghini is probably not a simple task, and there is a risk that you're the one who'll get dumped too I think.

Those ways are true, you can buy lamborghini if many new people are interested in investing, especially in the coins you have. But in fact, the cryptocurrency users are broad, there is not you and the people you were suggesting to come in, on the cryptocurrency market I suspect there are many people who deliberately make negative information and the impact will make the price weaken.

it's easier said than done. in order to pumo the price of an altcoin, you need lots of money/funds. if you dobt have enough money, you can use other people's money. but you have to persuade alot of people to buy the altcoin.

Definitely all the guys here will tell you that this is an utopia, just I can just you to look for the numbers of statistics how many guys are buying Lamborghini for their earnings from the cryptocurrency.

Why to guess? You should try it yourself to figure out whether it works or not. Theoretically it is possible but practically it is impossible because there are lots of troubles which you will encounter with. You mentioned the several steps to achieve the aim. For manipulating bitcoin or any coin with huge trading volume per 24 hours it can take up big army of investors which is attracted from the social media groups by advertising there. However it is very difficult that people will understand the same thing as you are talking it here because they are fearful to trust the social media publication these days which are all related to the crypto currency. For me, there are three strategies I employ for my trades. On a more general note, I try to be smart, patient and well-versed. If you mean that if the price will get pump then it is the time that you will trade your coin. For me it is one way of selling or trading your coin. If you just buy then sell it right away you will not earn big profit. If you want a big profit you have to buy when the price dump and then sell or trade it when the price pumps. If you want to make a profit in one day you can buy at a low price then when the price pump even a little you can trade it right away.

I wouldn't say its a good strategy, but hey if its working on your end then why not? The problem is the way you promote whatever the coins you wanted. If you are misleading people, then for me its doesn't sound good. That's why I'm totally against, those pump-and-dump groups, I see them very fraudulent and dubious, I would rather tell them up-front instead of people labeling you as a scammers if you get someone to invest but the supposed returns was not satisfied, IMHO.

Different people have different approaches in a certain strategy. Others might be good at it but how about if it will be done by you?

Much better, if you hold your alt in your wallet and wait for the right time to pump to get bigger profit. Trading it with bitcoin would getting less profit. technically it is working. you can take a look at altcoin market and see thousands of cases of what you just described in action but it is in no way as simple as what you said. for example "promoting it on social media" which is basically spamming the name of that shitcoin on the internet is not going to make people want to invest in that coin. and just telling people won't get them to invest.
what pumpers do (not the pumping groups) is that they also pump the coin as they are advertising it which requires money and the know-how of it.

That would be like gathering people together and then making them invest money over the bitcoin. So this will cause the artificial pump of the bitcoin because you are driving artificial investment into the crypto currencies. Now, whatever you stated here is not going to work because social media publication is already going on and whatever we see today is awareness of that particular marketing only.
But you can not really drive this traffic now a days because its not easy stuff. Also it would be artificial pump if anything like that done.

I think your trading concept or strategy is wrong, why can I say wrong, at first you are passionate about promoting coins into social media to attract investors to buy the coins you are promoting, in the end the coin is successful and the price rises high in the market, which you do it can be called pumping up the coin price so high, if you have 50% of the total coin, and when the coin is high you sell all your assets, and after you sell the coin it will automatically drop and break, I think what you doing that is very wrong, with you doing that indirectly you destroy the coins they have made, you get huge profits without seeing something that you do is the destruction of coin prices, destroying market prices, destroying digital money.
