Is circleex.io legit?
if there's a better exchange, it should be the one you're familiar with. never take a risk. although sometimes new exchanges create some events for their new sign-ups. but never get hooked. only use exchanges that are already trusted. it also doesn't let you put your money and leave it. if you have finished trading, then save your assets in your wallet. never leave it on the exchange.
^That is why I always matter how long in service upon choosing an exchange and the next is if they are reputable enough. Most known exchange care about their reputation and they will not ruin it whatever happens even though there is a collapse. Another is if that is a centralized exchange, they are registered and they follow government law which is very common in having a KYC.
As people above said, avoid this exchange while making research, or why not choose Binance or Kraken exchnage since they are very strict on security and KYC verification as of now.

Yeah, unfamiliar exchanges are only good at their words and once you fall on their trap, boom your money is gone. They are forced to do that because they are unfamiliar anyway so they are only trying their best to gain the attention of the public. I think it only takes a common sense sometimes to avoid the dangers. If we know that something is too promising or too good to be true then that is questionable and shouldn't be trusted easily.

It's always better to go for the small and realistic offers but as long as its legit because we won't likely lose our money on them and then we can still gain more as long as we know how to play the crypto game (trading and investing).

A ton of fake exchanges have been popping up in the past few months.
Ever since I joined this forum that I have been able to differentiate between real and fake exchanges I have been noticing this, which means probably that this kind of scam exchanges has been existing many years exchanges have been existing. There are many old reputed exchanges which should be what newbies supposed to be using, instead of new ones.
Fake exchanges and similar scams, such as phising, were always a indivisible part of the internet and cryptocurrencies. However, thanks to this forum, websites such as Scam Advisor and Reddit, it's quick and easy to spot and report them. There are a few standard points to check when coming across such websites, but sometimes, it's not that hard to become a victim. I had actually given away my wallet's private key on a fake Dapps website that I tried to connect. Stupid, I know.
It is better having your coins in older and trusted exchange.
Having? I do not know what you mean by this, but it simply means to hold your coins on exchanges or using an exchange or exchanges as a wallet, but which is not the right way for security and safety purposes. Best to go for noncustodial wallet, cold storage are the safest.
I had forgotten money on Bitstamp for over 3 years and had no issues with them. Storing money on any exchange is not recommended but in general, it is considered safe-ish.

Have thousand thread reading from first time joining with Bitcointalk forum never heard about your question with circleex.io exchange, I don't know and never heard what kinds of this exchange market. Have several reviewed above with this exchange not recommended and several user published with circleex.io is scam exchange market.

Use Binance and other exchange with good reputation for trading, better leave with exchange not popular and I think if you make vote about this exchange many user not recommended for deposit or trade there. I think popular and secure exchange are important thing if won't loss our fund later when making deposit with unknow exchange market.

Is circleex.io legit?

Haven’t hear about it yet. So my advice will be avoid this exchange if possible. I am just wondering how you guys are coming across these new and unpopular exchanges? They do some sort of local promotions through which you get to know about them? Moreover there are already many reputable and old exchanges present in the market. Why don’t you check out those and trade there? It’s very much safe to trade at those exchanges. Binance and Kucoin are currently the best exchanges out in the market.

We have a lot of reputable exchanges, and you can find them easily, why not go to them but look for exchanges that don't have any reputation? Even a large exchange like FTX can crash and scam users, so I think you should be careful with these unfamiliar exchanges. I suggest you only use binance and coinbase for trading.

Depositing in a new exchange is a risk. It is not advisable to send your coins to an exchange that has got no positive review especially from users from this platform, I will not try such. So be wise and follow wise counseling here. It is better having your coins in older and trusted exchange. I logged into it but I don't feel all is well to trade in there.
This is a really important point, it is never wise to deposit your coins in a new exchange, a lot of them are scam, you should deposit your money in an exchange that has a good reputation and good trading volume.

I also see that in these times it is not wise to deposit any funds in a centralized exchange even if it is reputable and reliable especially after the FTX incident.

The only acceptable possibility of depositing your coins on an exchange like this is when you are an Airdrop or Bounty participant, sometimes the Airdrop token is listed on new exchanges, in which case no problem.

Is circleex.io legit?

Doesn't look like a legit exchange. But even if its legit (not plan to scam you ... yet) I advice against using unknown, not well established exchanges.

1- low real traffic
2- high slippage/spread
3- high fees
4- high exit scam risk
5- most likely weak anti hack due to low money exchange have

Une binance for daytrading. Avoid holding founds even on known and reputable exchanges if you don't plan to use it now.

Where did you find this site? Or what is special about that site and made you search for it?
In general, unless there is sufficient trading volume here, whatever offers you make, it is better to ignore those sites, which will lead to the loss of all your capital sooner or later.
It's probably through ads on various sites OP visited or someone did PM him through messaging apps. They were all the same putting an ads or sending you a message through email or in the messaging apps that's offering a too good to be true offer. Perhaps a (fake)friend on the internet befriending OP but in reality they are part/member of the site or maybe owner of it.

It's good OP ask it here first before proceeding to deposit some money on it to trade. A thorough research about the site will help you to identify it if it's reputable enough to be trusted.

We do have a reputable exchanges out there that you can trust, don't just trust a new exchanges out of curiosity it's might be a scam if they done have reputation.

Or maybe the OP is part of the exchange as it is his first post.
Sometimes they are hiding their motive of promoting their own platform by asking the community.
But in any case, I would also suggest to avoid at all cost as the likelihood of not getting out your funds is high.
Most of the time, they will offer tempting rewards, but people should remind themselves that scammers can always deceive their users.
Better trust the known trading platforms with good liquidity and assurance that you can withdraw your funds without any issue.

Where did you get the information about this exchange, you should avoid this fraud, this is a fake new exchange, it is highly recommended to use the old exchange instead of the new one, the average of the latest exchanges has not been verified.
Avoiding these exchanges is the only best course of action, and never deposit on them, avoid these exchanges, to avoid scams.

A ton of fake exchanges have been popping up in the past few months. Some are trying to present ludicrous arbitrage opportunities in an attempt to lure users into depositing their funds there, while others are promoting so-called sign-up bonuses, promising an airdrop of a significant amount of cryptocurrency. The latter ones are usually found through Telegram and Discord groups. Avoid anything that looks sketchy and stick to the most well-known ones. There's no point in experimenting, there's an abundance of legit exchanges out there, such as Binance, Bitstamp, Coinbase, Kraken etc.

SCAM! don't deposit and cent!

1. The popular scam scheme of depositing to verify your account is in their terms. No legitimate exchange do this as it doesn't prove anything.

If total balance of Your account is less than 15 BTC or the same value in other currencies You have the right to pass verification procedure by making a verification Deposit using the capabilities of our decentralized system. To verify Your account, You can make a Deposit (Transfer Funds from your External Account into CIRCLEEX Account). The exact amount of Deposit is 0.04 BTC in one payment. The System will automatically identify this Deposit as verification. The entire main balance including the last Deposit will be available for Transfer Funds from your CIRCLEEX Account into an External Account and Internal Addresses instantly. It will also open access to all Service functions (with the exception of Trading) and remove all restrictions.

2. They lied about their background. Whois says they're less than a year old, yet they claim to have 5 years of experience. Along with this, the volume and number of users doesn't add up as they are pretty obscure - try doing a few searches about them + as stated earlier they've only been here six months ago.

It also looks to me like they could have picked a name close to circle to look more legit, as in: https://www.circle.com/en/

It's always best to wait for an exchange to get older/more used before you use them to work out if they have a good reputation or not - they might have bugs, have bad liquidity/prices or they could also be a scam.

Its domain name was created this year, like six month ago, I wonder why it is not yet taken down. Avoid this kind of exchange when there are well known reputed ones.

How did you know about the exchange? Through luring offers like high return?

But just avoid the exchange, to avoid scam.

Avoid

You can make use of these two links to check some exchanges, make further research (like by asking about a particular exchange on this forum) to know how legit they are:
