I don’t want to vouch for that guy but com’n, it is just a sms automated verification service which is 0.1$ per verification. It’s a shame to scam a small amount for a low risk service. I know that SSL is a must on his service because it needs to protect privacy of the content of sms because it contains client detail sometimes.

But you can try it first for 1 transaction to know if it’s legit or not. Then scale Up/down once you confirm.

Please check this, is it not scam? The link is not even https, and want to provide scam service. His bitcointalk account is old but scam tactic I guess.

PVA (phone verified accounts) services is nothing new. There are some websites, apps etc that ask for your phone number. You can give guys like him $0.10 and add another phone number so you avoid getting weird SMS down the road, or just for privacy.

The https thing is not a deal breaker. Seems he did not set up the redirects www -> https , http://www -> https, http -> https.
Would recommend to install the "HTTPS Everywhere" browser addon Smiley

I would not use services of sayan162 and his pvacodes, but I would not say it is a scam.
Looking at his post history I see he is also selling some accounts, and that is it.

How is it scam?

I mean I wouldn't trust them for security services if their website doesn't even force ssl connections but the lack of it from thst link doesn't really make them scam, I suggest you contact the thread owner instead and ask them to make it so it forces ssl connections and change the http to https in the link just in case.

How is it a scam?

The lack of SSL certificate doesn't mean its a scam; in fact, you can get one for free using LetsEncrypt. Unless there's a scam accusation, I can't see how this would be a scam.

Edit: They actually do have SSL certificate. Just go HTTPS instead of HTTP.
