They're hyping this on a Telegram channel. Here's the site: https://shibaprizes.com/

I have a feeling it's the fraudsters claiming they've received their own giveaway.
They're asking people to swap ETH (at lease 0.5) I think. Sounds like an elaborate scam to me.
Yes, that is a scam. The easy thing to identify a scam is when you see they are asking people to send some amount or swap ETH to them, that giveaway will not pay you anything. It is a classic method to scam people but that still works today because many new people do not know about that and will attempt to send the amount to them. If you are not yet sending or swapping any amount, then you are good and you can skip the site and have the experience to see how the scam works.

If they asking for a big amount that is obviously scam dude, you better stay away from it mate.
And remember, no giveaways that will give a rewards coming from the telegram itself, almost all of them
are just a fraud only and scam.
0.5 Eth for swapping is a Big amount as imagine that is more than 2,000 dollars to swap first?

This is a complete strategy of scammers and only Greedy people comes to be a victim.

I will never engage in something that only being hyped in Scam place like telegram because you can earn no proof because all discussions can be easily deleted .

An obvious answer , this is SCAM .. everyone who posted here says it all that a legit project will not shill In telegram instead they will use proper forum like Bitcointalk or other areas where legit investors maybe attracted and not in Telegram groups that they new only Bounty hunters are involve .
They wanted to spread their name by the hunters to lure investors .

It's probably scam. Don't trust any site without official announcement of any project.  Scammers use popular and hyping projects to cast a lot of deception. so be careful of this

top coins will never hold a giveaway again, every telegram group that claims is a scam...

shiba inu is already in the top 20 of the top coin market cap, and why are they holding another giveaway? Seeing from the high enthusiasm of people towards Shiba, it's no wonder why scammers take advantage of this opportunity to create fake giveaways. In previous years, we have seen many scam bitcoin giveaways that cheat people's money, so don't fall into their trap again.

This is a scam which tries to get money from people and in this way they make them fool.
try to avoid these types of giveaways in which first you have to deposit something before getting the coins and specially when the deposit amount is too large as such in this case it's 0.5 Eth. No ones wants to lose 0.5 Eth.

if you have a feeling of being questionable then let it go and look for another one .

there are tons of give away to choose from, but all you have to find is which are the legit and which are shitty .

I think this kind of scammer will still do the same thing because in fact the way they do it still applies and not everyone also understands that the site is a scam. We are also aware that until now, in a digital world like today, in fact there are still many people who are new to cryptocurrency and they are still not aware of it.
Telegram is place of scammers ,though there are still good groups but majority had being used for faker and scamming .

If it only involves in Telegram then there isa  Big chances that this is a scam or just a shitty action luring people.

and besides Giveaways are mostly BS in this market so try to prevent from spending your time in those worthless activities.

try to find profit in great way like investing and other bounty fields .

Obviously this is a scam, there have been a lot of SHIBA scams on telegram you can see what I found before and this is exactly the site you shared.
Stay alert and do not make any deposits.

Please do not just bluntly copy and paste the replies of other people here. You can be reported or even banned for doing that.

Anyway, we are all aware that this is some kind of scrappy old scam, because we have encountered many of this before. It is good that it is now being shared here that it is on once again. I just hope that newbies and those interested to begin their way towards crypto are being aware that not everything they see on the internet that says something about crypto should be trusted.

Those scammers were using so many fake accounts to create fake claim if the giveaway was legit. You must be careful with this. Shiba never did any giveaway and that's a scam.
I have a feeling it's the fraudsters claiming they've received their own giveaway.
They never did it but they were creating fake claim but they never got anything.

Yes that's a scam. So many scammers were also using this kind of old tricks.

An obvious scam, you're looking at it as a giveaway then there should be no amount requirement of spending. Not unless it came from a legitimate service or exchange that requires that so that you get an entry of participation but usually, they don't ask that much in spending.
But if it's coming from an unknown service and they're asking that much, you don't have to be that greedy because they say so.

If this is a scam then you are doing a good action here sharing for everyone, i also think you must put a formal thread in reputation section or somewhere in which this will be seen properly because market place seems to be having a small viewers compared to other section.
though I am not a fan of shilling strategy and i am blocking everyone who do this as obvious way of scamming.

Definitely looks like a scam to me and I would stay far away. As previously pointed out, this domain was literally just registered and I don't see any big account (like the Shiba Inu twitter, or Shiba Inu News twitter) posting anything about it. I wouldn't trust it myself..
