I don't like the layout design sorry. My other concern is the malware of backdoor virus that can be installed on your desktop once you downloaded and unzipped the files. In the FAQ:

Why should I trust this service?

You shouldn't. The simplest check is to download the original source your coin was templated from and compare the two. Carefully consider any differences you find.

This is the risk. Downloading from an unknown or not trusted site like this one. If may or may not be scam, but its better for as to be careful than sorry.

I think a far more common risk would be a backdoor in the source and thus the coin. Not necessarily my computer.

The internal code seems to be very efficient but when comes to other sectors like FAQ's, About etc. Seems to be all those are a copy from other cloud mining websites. By the way, the website seems to be for creating a new coin or it is just cloud mining site I am confusing.

It's a website where you only need to select the settings, and it will generate an altcoin + wallet for you. Seems too good to be true.

I have no doubt that the code which produced from this site is something which someone can trust. However, why not use this code only to 'play'? Reading the FAQ and the help section I noticed there are some tutorials in you youtube too. Therefore, you can use it only for learning processes. But surely is not something you could use it as altcoin unless you would like to create a shitcoin.

The layout of the website is not build by professionals. The FAQ of the website looks a lot like "cloud mining" scams websites. I would not trust this website for the moment until there will be more reviews and more opinions from different people.  The website looks like it has been made by a kid who was testing different templates and scripts.

Hi. I was wondering if this site (http://build-a-co.in/) is legit, and if so, if it could be a good base for an altcoin, Ofcourse i am only interested in their source codes, not necessarily all those settings.

I was unable to find any reviews online, hence my post.

If not, would litecoin be a good base to start off from?

no body knows until somebody try it,, maybe scam maybe not ,,
but when i check it on scamadviser i got this result

http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/build-a-co.in

everything is on your hands my friend
just becarefull

thanks

I do think this site is not a trusted or secure one. I have been insisted by seniors that while using a website be careful whether it has http:// or htpps:// and here it is http:// which is an unsecured one.

That website is not trusted enough and I think they didn't make a coin in FREE without hidden motives like backdoor on the code and malwares.

I don't think that you should use them.

Site looks quite mediocre, not good design at all. And no reviews means that there could be hidden risks.

If you are actually developing a long term project then maybe look to hire an actual developer instead of using the source code from them.

This is smth new probably. I would be VERY caucious about any 3rd party code involving creating altcoin.
Possibilities to include some crafty backdoor are too vast. If you don't understand code u want to run, don't run it.

so this could basically mean that they input some code in the background and when you create your coin they can either use you pc for some slow alt-coin mining in the background or start mining your coin if it looks profitable and make a profit out of it?
