Based on what I've read, 1xbit does have a lot of options to bet but the reviews are very negative. It's not even on the top sports betting platforms so I doubt that review is a paid advertisement.
Most of the feedbacks I'm seeing on that site were all positives! I mean when you try to read most of their reviews their isn't much of flaws. So IMO this site cryptogamblingnews is somewhat a paid site to advertise projects even though the projects are said to have issues in reality.

as for 1xbit it seems there wasn't any updates regarding the issues of being solved. maybe they're really going to let it go for this forum and just advertise wherever they can pay just like this cryptogamblingnews whose giving most false reviews and ratings.

will now lock this thread for I haven't seen any suggestions on where can I found some news updates regarding gambling events, its slowly turning into 1xbit thread issue and gotta avoid that.

I cannot attest that this 1xbit is a legit casino website, just like the others, I have read a lot of bad history about them for that I choose not to be involved with them in any way.

If they are willing to start their campaign on the forum, they are more willing to have those paid reviews. It's just another fake review or the owner of that website wants to take part of their affiliate as they're having a hot issue. This is the reason why many reviews website, gambling, exchanges and other services shouldn't be taken with 100% trust.

Exactly, you can't trust them 100%, even the most trusted sites.
The feedback that we read from users here is very different compared to the one sided review, if I am not a member of this site, I would not know that 1xbit is a bad site based on the review because they are aggressive with their advertising.

Actually there's https://1xbit.com/ and https://1xbet.com/en/... I don't know if they are affiliated with each other.

according to the quoted post below both of 1xbit and 1xbet are owned by the same group. I remember there was a casino called kawbet that tried to advertise and run a signature campaign but was was suspected to be part of 1xbit and 1xbet company.

I am out of the loop. Are 1xBet and 1xBit the same casinos? They probably are but asking to get a confirmation.
AFAIK 1xBet and 1xBit are different casino, but both of them are from the same group (1xCorp N.V.)

Who owns 1xbit?
1xbit is owned and operated from 1xCorp N.V. which is licensed in Curacao. This is the same group that owns 1Xbet.

So Just wanted to know your thoughts about this crytpogamblingnews page...

Ordinary gambling news site, from my view. Most of news sites (and not only them) do not ignore opportunity to make some easy money, and in most cases such "easy money" comes from shady projects. This is normal (not in meaning that this is good, but rather that is often happens) so you can keep read this site, but do not pay attention to ads (and maybe you have a moral right to use addblock for such sites)

These sites are just like the ICO ranking websites in ICO world.
They are just faking the ratings.

We know already that 1xbit has numerous scams and they aren't trusted anymore but there are some who doesn't know what they did so they will just continue their operations.
I'm not saying that it is legit but I will not rely too much on these kind of sites.

1xbit tried to make a fresh start, and as a part they started the signature campaign on the services thread. When users started to pour out lots and lots of scam accusations, the thread has been locked. Upon the same, the advertisement seems to be paid one for a fresh start. If they resolve every accusations, surely they gain a good name. Until then 1xbit won't be endorsed by anyone.
When Yobit did a signature campaign, it is almost the same with 1xbit where there are many scam accusations. When BestChange did their signature campaign, doubts have been there although they don't know that BC has been existing for a long time already and it hasn't scammed at all.

1xbit maybe doing a fresh start but the fact will still be there that they scammed people and it will never be forgotten. It will be hard for them to gather signature participants here since they scammed people.

I think we can skip from the site which gives review out there and move to the other website that has the information that we want because we have this forum which can give us an honest review from the members. Perhaps, they pay some money to the owner of the site to review their gambling website, so it looks natural for people who visit on that site.

1xbit already have some problem in the past which they need to resolve first before they continue their business. But the gambling site can use another website out there to promote their gambling site to invite people to play gambling games on their site. We cannot stop people out there from visiting on that site because they will decide by themselves.

This could be a paid review. 1xbit has a bad reputation in this forum and they haven't cleared their issue. Well, they tried to start a signature campaign in this forum, and DT members had stated warning participants from joining this campaign and it got canceled. Nost review sites are paid for exposure and marketing that is why I don't trust such. Better try it on your own, but be cautious. This forum can be a good place to find reviews and scam accusations for gambling platforms, so such sites won't be needed.

Since they cannot launch a bounty campaign here anymore they are marketing their gambling site to other popular venues and paying reviewers and bloggers to give them a good rating, it's obviously a paid rating an honest reviews should be zero complaints and the administrators should be honest in resolving any issues that comes along but they prefer to ignore and move.

any suggestions that I can take for viewing some news 'bout crypto gambling?
Have you tried searching for other crypto related things ...
Nope, I am only looking for News Updates on Gambling, I wanna know what's the great event for this month/year and from what platform it is.

Just did some testing on this website, just be careful, obviously it's full or referral and this:

https://i.imgur.com/UnUFJTR.png

And most likely those are paid ads, specially in the world of gambling wherein there's a huge money involved.
where did you see that? I tried to visit their review page but I didn't notice any of that. Maybe this site is just full of paid advertisement and not a legitimate news provider.

Well, 1xbit still has scam accusations. Even if they got a gaming license, if players experience some nuisance from the site like problem in depositing and withdrawals or sudden disappearance of funds. Then regardless of the license, the reputation of such a gambling site will be at risk.

 Here's some of the threads about those websites;

 - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcasinoio-horrible-scam-proof-inside-stay-away-5243315 (Bitcasino)
 - https://game-protect.com/1xbit-scam/ ( 1xbit )

That is just some scam accusations but take at your own risks as many players are still playing in their site without any problems at all. They also offered great deals for bonuses for promotions. Such idea to attract more players.

Have you tried searching for other crypto related things such as "what is the best crypto exchange platform?" or "[This ICO/altcoin] rating and reviews"?? You would see a ton of paid advertisements and articles saying that this is the top 5 best and this is the most popular and promising one, yet it is just a marketing strategy of such schemes to let other users (their scammed clients) to promote them to earn more and more, and be boosted on google searches.

Most popular review sites could be legit, and it's normal to them to give a good review on the site that pays them.
I think these sites who are listed having a good review are paying https://www.cryptogamblingnews.com, they get the pay and put a good review, that's their job, they don't get blame for doing that, if google can advertise a site with bad reputation as long as it's not illegal, then they can also do the same.
In the end, it still lies on us on how to choose the right gambling site for us, we need to look around and not rely on one source of information only.

scam is still related to being illegal so i can consider them as one and they shouldnt advertise it but its true that google done it before ? google is a big company so i almost dont believe on it  .

they are big and they can influence small companies for whatever they do .  the issue of review site giving false feedbacks arent also new and we are all aware with that , that we must not rely on what they are saying totally .

Not all legit websites like cryptogamblingnews.com provide honest ranks and reviews. Related 1xbit reviews are proof paid advertisements
occur, because 1xbit gambling site gets a lot of scam accusations and bad reviews from members of the bitcointalk forum. However, why
1xbit can get good reviews from cryptogamblingnews.com, this is very clear paid advertisements. If like it will harm many people. Therefore
choosing gambling sites is not enough based on good reviews alone.

That website is legit but still lots of room for improvements. Their reviews on other sites are good. I think with 1xbit, they include it because they haven't experienced a bad thing about the site. That kind of review sites also cares for their reputation as they are spreading their links so if there's a large voice about 1xbit being a scam, I'm sure they will remove it on their list.

But for a gambler, I believed it does not matter anymore if that site is legit or not as we know already how to determined if a review is genuine or not.

For a newbie, I also don't think they will just fall on these reviews as in most cases, they will only choose to use a reputable and popular website.

DYOR is always a must. We just need to be used to doing this even outside gambling.

with many review/ranking sites that are being launched to catch potential referrals, they will provide relatively good reviews. however, if you are a long time gambler, you already know what casino sites are truly legit.
but i dont think they will remove 1xbit as they dont have thread here in the forum, so they dont know that the reputation of 1xbit is tainted. just remind your friends/colleagues that you know who are into gambling about this questionable casino

It's like a typical review site, just as many others, so in the end, it depends if we will follow their reviews or not.

Not just that site but I think I have seen 1xBit too on other review websites as well. I'm sure 1xBit will not buy an ad page or paid reviews at these several review sites as those aren't even popular in the crypto community. What I'm seeing here is, these review sites shared or look at each other to get a reference on what site they will list so sometimes we will see them listing a site that is not familiar to us.

I remembered the website bitcoinchaser.com (not affiliated there lol) because of this thread. As of now, the review website made by @efialtis and his group is so far the best review site I have seen.

1xBit has numerous scam accusations on them. I don't know if they are a legit casino or not but they indeed push some heavy promotions all over the internet. They wanted to start a sig camp here too.

And their sigcamp was halted fast because of the negative trust given to them. Just like P2PB2B here, they didn't manage to run their campaign because of the negative trust and unresolved issues. So I can say 1xbit should not be in the list because of existing allegations that are not yet resolved. Don't trust review sites, mainly, they want to earn from their referral commission.

There are accusations with 1xbit and they haven't clear any thing this is why I'm skeptical on that review website, but if they do belong on this one I'm sure they paid it. They gotta do what they gotta do for an advertisement. Now the OP is asking for legitimacy of the site, if the website accepts a fake review on this one I'd just say be careful  Wink

I'd rather play in the old casinos with lesser bonuses on the newer ones with this kind of reviews, honestly.

Well, this is common on a paid review service. What is business, --and business is a business, they get profit to their unbiased review that obviously has been paid by the gambling casino owner just to give a positive review. For example here is is the Trustpilot review site, they are just paid review service and you will notice that someone manipulating the review. That is the reason I did not read or even open a link in any review site, it was obvious if there is a review, that is not against them. A review of forum community will give an honest experience not the paid ones.

any suggestions that I can take for viewing some news 'bout crypto gambling?

You can directly able to tell by just seeing on what are the sites had been listed out and the ratings that they do give out. This isnt something new where these sites are commonly listing out
unknown ones or even to those who do have past issues. They dont care if they would really mislead out people as long they do put up neither if its a paid one or just simply doesnt care
on putting suggestions without even making up some search about that gambling sites issues wayback. When it comes to review sites then i do only trust up Btcgosu which had been
seen recently and it is way more better compared into most review sites which arent really that interesting at all.

I have seen that one also and it is totally different into those casual review sites that we have seen in the past. Here's their ANN thread.

You cant go wrong into these reviews yet the owner itself is one of the reputable members of this forum which basically means that he do knows

Reviews site like this is everywhere. As for legitimacy, yes "they are legit as a literal review website" but obviously it was a product of their own reviews which is common to any review sites. They can give high ratings to a website they like but that's not because those gambling sites paid these review sites. I don't even think that this review site does have mass traffic. The purpose of those good feedbacks there is for affiliate purposes.

For the scam part, unless the gambling site is heavily red-flagged everywhere and obvious sh*t can be seen right away to their main page, I think that's the only time they will not list it. As for 1xBit, they have negative reviews here but still, there are users who are playing at the site so that might be the reason why they still include on their site. It's like Yobit, lots of negative reviews but still included on some review sites before.

The bottom line, legit or not, we do have our own way to determine if a gambling site is worth trying. There are lots of review sites in the world of crypto-gambling so we will really encounter those at any chance. It's now up to us if we will buy those reviews.

It seems legitimate for me but I think it's pure business I think they were just getting paid to advertise the 1xbit we can see that they're opening a new signature campaign that's currently paused since most of the users doesn't want to participate because the participants asking them to solve all the problems and accusations they currently involved.

I think they just looking for other ways to advertise their platform and maybe this is one of them, too bad for the owner of the gambling news their credibility will decrease by accepting to promote 1xbit to their platform.

This should show us once again why when it comes to the reviews of cryptocurrency casinos we must use this website and not rely on the information found anywhere else, it is obvious to me that this is paid advertising disguised as a legitimate review, I think there is enough evidence against the 1xbit casino to prove that at least for now they are not to be trusted and that no one should play there until they resolve all the issues that have been brought forward.

Well I believe most of these review sites or ranking sites are fake, it's just me so don't believe, I just feel like they were paid to put that on their platforms. Did you know that most of the online reviews are paid? I know you're aware of some. There are some platforms that hires people for an HONEST REVIEW of their platform and services which should indicate the bugs they encounter, errors, delays, etc.

There have been many reports about 1xbit so I don't think they belong to that review. sorry.

Of course with 1xBit terrible reputation, I believe this is another paid advertisements. To be sure with money anyone  can make
massive promotion, therefore I decided to choose gambling sites not based on reviews and rankings in website news. Because
reviews without evidence are just a paid promotion made by 1xBit, especially reviews from Crypto Gambling News sites can't be
trusted. I am more confident with the reviews of the gambling community on this bitcointalk forum, because here not everyone
can be paid for give good reviews.
Besides this forum provides insight in every experiences we experience in different gambling sites and we can simply search the casinos here and see the responses of the members. There is  also a member here that do provide casino review or feedbacks named btcgosu to those who didn't prefer reading too much here in forum. It's better to research more or play without depositing yet to check the casinos ourselves.

IMO a review from their own score or from visitor score will be always can be faked, they can give a high score from the gambling resource with a paid review also a score with visitor rate score could high by doing a small things with some a small giveaway to make a review about them. Because all of these, the score will be always high no matter score rate was using the review website or visitor rate.

The best things information always from your experience and could be some case from some one with a solid information, that's why never taken seriously about a review gambling website.

I have seen Bitcasino having an support account roaming around the forum and asking on whether what they can do to improve their Website. In this niche, it is incredibly hard to find neutral sites that really "ranks" gambling websites. They just take the money and advertise.

A fun fact to note is that most legitimate sites that grow from small to big often start out by accepting payments in return for favorable reviews. This cryptogamblingnews, is no different. Other similar sites like bookmakers, cryptocompare, blockonomi were all riding the same boat, before switching to more legitimate sources of income.

I'd say take everything you read there with a gain of salt, and you can be almost certain that the casinos with the highest rankings paid for their position.

Seeing 1xbit there I already knew something is bad. Surely a paid promotion and all biased, you must look for a better review website if you are looking for gambling sites to play with.

But IMO never trust any review website, just check manually here if you are looking for a new site we have them all in gambling section. Owners of these websites is mostly blinded by the money they are getting paid with and doesn't even care on their viewers if they are gonna get scammed or not.

1xbit has a lot of scam accusations, mostly new gambling sites created by that platform turns out to be a scam. Best way in my opinion is to check the ANN thread about that gambling site here the forum, also if they have an signature campaign that is handled by a reputable manager. But the ANN thread is enough i think, for you to find answers.

I just came to see this site while searching some news about Crypto Gambling:
https://www.cryptogamblingnews.com/

and the first thing I saw was this \

knowing that 1xbit has still issues. Is that just a paid advertisement or is it a ranking?
still checking some news 'bout this Gambling Page...

any suggestions that I can take for viewing some news 'bout crypto gambling?

Edit:
Just tried to click the numbers beside the Casino Names, it was indeed a score but based on their own ratings. and might be a paid advertisement and review...
So Just wanted to know your thoughts about this crytpogamblingnews page...

Any review site like this can be paid off so that they can get a good review.

I guess you are doing a good job for posting a topic like this since for sure many new gamblers doesn't know the reputation of 1xbit and how they wreck people here, best to avoid this site for now since seems they have plan to comeback here and provably they making their moves to go back here since they targeting the bitcointalk users again.

It's just another affiliate website claiming to provide unbiased information with the player in mind when they are obviously not...

I confronted them a few weeks ago but they couldn't care less:

May I ask why you are promoting proven scammers 1xbit and risking fellow bitcointalk users to get scammed?!

Like the main post indicates, we don't want to promote any scam casinos. Our team does everything possible to investigate scam casinos, but ultimately the reviews reflect our personal experience with the brand.

We will certainly take a closer look at certain websites people may flag as scams and continue to work towards a safe environment.

Thanks for getting back but that response isn't good enough and just goes to show you are just like all the rest promoting proven scammers --> there is NOTHING to investigate when it comes to 1xbit - you should fire your whole team...

That being said - it's pretty interesting to note that while many established users agreed and supported my flag against bitcoin_chaser (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1475) for promoting 1xbit and the likes - nobody cared to support my flag against Best Bitcoin Casino (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1828) so I didn't bother doing another one against cryptogamblingnews.
-snip
bitcoin _chaser got more attention and lied about removing 1xbit from their review website. bitcoin _chaser lying about removing 1xbit from their website was probay the reason why the flag got more support than the flag for Best Bitcoin Casino.

Edit:

they have some useful and interesting articles in their website and I didn't bother reading their review about gambling sites since I had a feeling that it would just be a biased review since a lot of gambling site today tend to pay a review gambling site in order for them to have a positive review.

I also check that site to read some news, but I don't really trust on their ratings on gambling sites as it's obvious they are getting paid for that.
We know what sites are good or not, we have this forum where we see lots of real reviews than a site controlled by the owner only, so it's really up to us to evaluate.

If ask about the sites listed, I can't say much as I am not frequently using the sites, and site's reputation may change from time to time, so best thing to do is to check on their ANN thread in the forum to know their reputation and we know just recently 1xbit failed on their signature campaign attempt, that says a lot about their reputation in the forum.

All of them got their license in curabao, so they are all Legit.
I think you have misread something Cheesy
I'm asking about the www.cryptogamblingnews.com webiste whether if they're giving an honest review or if it's just a paid review /advertisement (but still it's their webpage and it is them on how they make these reviews),
because I just saw the ratings are even higher than FortuneJack, which IMO it should have a 95 even if its being rated with their new webpage.

Okay,.. Sorry I misread it, I was thinking that you asked whether the gambling sites are legit or not because I don't believe that a certain website that provides review to gambling sites will give a non bias review, of they will not as they are paid.

The best sites that could give an honest or non bias reviews are the forum sites, like bitcointalk.

1xBit has numerous scam accusations on them. I don't know if they are a legit casino or not but they indeed push some heavy promotions all over the internet. They wanted to start a sig camp here too.
I forget to screenshot but I saw 1xBit advertising on Coinmarketcap we all know how big Coinmarketcap reach and Coinmarketcap is allowing this, they really spend a lot in advertising they want to scam more people, glad that their signature campaign here did not push through.

It just a paid promotion though I also search some good reviews about top bitcoin casino. There’s some other site offering good reviews but I don't rely only on a site, I’m also searching here in the forum on what's the top casino to join. I just found out this 1xbit has the scam accusation here in the forum so it really shows never trust to what you read.

As you said that are the ratings depending on their own metrics but for such affiliate sites, the affiliate bonus percentage is the prime factor for the ratings. They'd bring up any gambling site with larger referral percentage while may omit the good ones that don't provide affiliate promotions.
I look these sites for occasional promotions but don't depend on them to find which sites are good or bad.

I also think that we cannot judge from such sites if a gambling site is trusted or not.For me the only metric that I trust is the forum metric here.If there are constantly scam accusations against a gambling site and they fail to counteract them then the site is not trusted. If the site constantly receives good feedback from most users then I consider it trusted.

1xbit is legal based on what I read in this site https://www.bookmakers.bet/review/1xbit/

Quote
Q: Is 1xbit sportsbook safe and legit?
Although 1xbit is licensed in Curacao, they have been improving at every point since 2016 when they went online. Also, they continuously take measures against money laundering, through strict policies. Definitely can be considered as a safe and legit bookmaker.

Quote
Q: Who owns 1xbit?
1xbit is owned and operated from 1xCorp N.V. which is licensed in Curacao. This is the same group that owns 1Xbet.

They might have a lot of scam accusations, but they are legally operating.

It is definitely paid promotion of 1xbit. Even though the rating is given by the review website itself, it is influenced by the payment made by 1xBit. That's the reason why we should not believe any such gambling review websites because they are here just to make money! If some casino can make them happy with payment, there's no way you will ever see a bad review. That seems like the case with "Crypto Gambling News" as well.

The best place to get an actual news about any casino is a community like bitcointalk where people can freely post about their experiences.

It can be paid review or review base only in their experience , since the a last time they have open  scam accusation  is two years ago they can review it not base on what users experience before. but ,what they experience using the website today when they tried it.

Full disclosure: I am also running an affiliate website and yeah, would be easy to say I am just looking to bash the competition. Wink Do some research though and you will see I have always had such an opinion and "fought" for it - ever since I signed up here on bitcointalk.

So this is just another paid advertisement right? nothing to believe in without proof...
It seems they're really going to have a fresh start after these issues, but I doubt it will be solved in just a short time besides, just like what they said:

Most of the scam accusation are 2 years+ old, not sure if there a way to resolve them.
