Is this the best time to teach about bitcoin, my answer is, of course yes, because when the world economy is rocking, we have to think about how to make a living, we have to learn according to the latest developments, because the world of engineering and the world of crypto are the same is developing all the time, if we don't study now, when will we learn again friends ..

It is quite good to teach the use of the cryptocurrency today or the bitcoin because today we have a huge problem and that is the outbreak happens and one of the good things we need to do is stay at home but we cannot do that because most of the time we need to go to the market, buy the things we need to survive and go to work. Still, we are prone to the virus even we have mask and more to protect our selves and one thing we can do now is the use of the bitcoin to make a transaction because today this is one of the most faster and secure transactions that we do not go outside.

Yes and No.

No because when you tell people about it now, they'll be like "Why would I want to listen to something that is crashing?" (even tho you and I know that the price will still come back up). Convincing them at this point can be very risky. They will feel more like it's a scam.

Yes because when you tell people about it, and they refused to listen to you. Somehow, those that listened to you and those that didn't listen to you will all observe the price as it'll go up. Leaving some of them with regret of not having listened. At this point, many people would want to research on such a digital currency that has such volatile nature.

One thing I am sure of is that the outbreak of this Corona virus has made a lot of people know about Bitcoin. Just as its price was slashed, people started hearing about it. Some people believe that it is finally going down (crashing), while some others find it as the best time to invest.

If you go through my last topics, you will notice that I have been holding seminars and promoting Bitcoin in several ways. But right now, I don't think it's a good time to hold seminars or meetups; unless they are held online.

Summarily, the answer to this question depends on the teacher/tutor/instructor who wants to tell people about Bitcoin.

Most people tend to think that bitcoin is something that is difficult to obtain and there must be a special way to get it, technically it is, but if we learn deeper, actually how to get bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is the same as how we get money in the real world. Although there are several new ways, but basically the same, you have to invest time, or money to make money.

The diagram above clearly mapped the risks, the level of difficulty, and the benefits gained. These three factors influence each other. Thus we can judge fairly and weigh our ability to be able to use which method.

It's always the best time to teach people about Bitcoin. But since we're now staying at home, there's more people who'll might be interested learning it. You can make them get into Bitcoin if they are really willing to. Not everyone will give efforts in learning cryptocurrency if they don't have the willingness. Yes, it could be great time to learn something more about btc. Especially when it is desired to stay at home I consider this time as also great for buying some cryptocurrencies, it's hard to predict when btc will rise but it will, I'm sure. There are so many people being afraid of going outside because of the risk of spreading the virus around the world and the best thing that we may do is to use cryptocurrency so we can still purchase some goods and stuffs that we need for our daily needs. As we all know that when the corona virus are spreading over the whole world out governments are declared a community quarantine for a couple of months and it was so boring because we don't know on what to do for a long community quarantine. I would say yes, with the market crashing, with everyone staying at their own homes because of the quarantine, I can see people searching and learning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency more and more.

Yes, but if someone is willing to learn about Bitcoin it means it is the right time to teach them. In times like this, Coronavirus is rapidly spreading, the people will be more hesitant to use hard cash to buy anything or pay bills. People are trying to find ways to earn money while staying at home now that the government imposed quarantine or lockdown in different countries. It is good to promote or advertise the use of cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin to people while expecting that this will be globally accepted and adopted in the future. There are a lot of platforms like google and youtube to teach Bitcoin where it discusses the interest, benefits, way to earn and merits and to be honest I personally watched videos on youtube in my first time and it helps alot. It will widen your perspective and open an opportunity to engage more on Bitcoin but make sure to discuss and understand the risk and volatility of it.

I try that too. I tried to teach almost all of my friends. But only a few of them have an interest in bitcoin. So from that, I don't teach people who don't want to know about a new thing because that can waste my time. I prefer to teach less than 5 people, but they have a big interest in bitcoin than to teach 10 people, but they don't want to know about what I am going to tell them.

It is very enjoyable to teach bitcoin, most especially to those young one's. They can be enlightened in a young age on how to be a business minded person because as soon as they grow, they can be familiarized on what is happening in the market. When we teach about Bitcoin against others I think this is a challenge. First, they will definitely ask us about the risks and advantages. Maybe it's time to introduce Bitcoin everyone (especially youngsters). The government advises everyone to do their own quarantine.

People are now focussing on how they would be safe in their houses. At these times, people would be investing their fiats into essentials, to things their family needed to be safe and be free from the contamination of the virus. I would be happy to teach people about Bitcoin if they ask me but I think it is the wrong time to teach people right now. They are scared, they are thinking about the safety of their families and I guess we should too.

We can say that it is the best time teach people about bitcoin, but the fact is people still trying to take care themselves first fro the coronavirus, and after they can make sure that they are safe, they will try to search the other way to make money. Now, they are at home, some of them are not work in their office, but they have an internet connection to try to search work by online, so I think they will seek the other jobs available on the internet so they can make money. Maybe soon they will realize that they can make money from the internet, and they will come to bitcoin while we cannot force them to learn bitcoin if they don't want.

I think the best time to teach right now due to pandemic of corona virus is how to prevent being infected and how to be aware of the things that can protect us from the virus. Yes, its a good thing to have a digital money to avoid contact of personal transfer or using fiat to less the risk of getting infected but that doesn't mean that we must careless of the situation. Anytime is best for teaching about Bitcoin. But my experience is that whenever the market condition are good then people tend to get convinced easily and do understand how Bitcoin can eventually lead them to financial freedom.

I have discussed about Bitcoin with my family members and my friends and have always found that they have a more negative approach towards it than positive. So you need to be ready with lot of negative questions.

From my personal experience I can say that one has to be extremely careful about introducing others to Bitcoin, because it is something very risky and for the most technically complicated. For I think you can start by telling them how to buy kinds of stuff without using fiat that are known to aid in transmitting the virus using cryptocurrencies but you need to have pieces of information on local merchants in your place that accept crypto. There are also many resourceful materials to teach people about crypto and they can also earn in crypto if they have skills that can be monetized

Yes how we can teach them is also a problem but before that, you must think if the people that you choose to teach are really interested on it or at least they have a background experience in investing on other kind of investments.

For an average people, yes Bitcoin is very complex. There are many ways to earn online though. Not only Bitcoin but there are some freelancing sites right now although the problem is how you can cash out it if your country is in a lockdown.
I consider myself as an average people too but I just learned the basics of it and I'm ok with it now. No time for me to learn the complex parts of Bitcoin. The volatility just make Bitcoin not a good investment for those who can't keep themselves calm when it goes down.

Many people are better to have some cash to buy some supplies because of this event that is happening right now. Most of them probably don't have any spare cash to use to invest in Bitcoin and the only way you can teach people right now are thru an online session but if you really want to teach right now then there are some ways to do it .

In times like this, there are people who will be interested in online earnings. But let's face the reality, most of them were also afraid to take the risks. Bitcoin isn't hard to learn and to handle. But those newbies always thought that Bitcoin is an easy and quick rich scheme which is really not.

If we'll gonna introduce to them about bitcoin, the first question they will gonna ask is , "How to earn?" And "How to benefit from it?".

And do not forget that bitcoin can also be use as alternate monetary system in terms of digital payments. However, I doubt if they will risk their money in this situation of crisis as majority of them badly need fiat for there major necessities especially in this lock down.

Well I think when people are sitting at home and have nothing to do and all the earning methods are closed , since even the online working situations requires a office setup and unfortunately due to the pandemic nothing is working at an efficient scale.

The best start is to study online. There are plenty of resources that can be used which in the direct hit of Google. Also in the time of crisis, Its not appropriate to introduced something about investment about bitcoin, hence people only concern is to keep safe from harm and potential spread of the virus. Many people are now looking for jobs that can be done at home. But I will not suggest to them go here and join airdrops and bounty. Earning bitcoin or any cryptocurrency isnt the only forte of forum but just a bonus spree.

There's never a best time for anything. As long as one wants to learn about something, then that moment would always be the best time to start after all. It doesn't take a disaster for one to learn first aid, it doesn't take a job hiring for one to learn the process of it right? Also, BTC was never a business, and I doubt it would ever be. It isn't some sort of magic word where once you got some, you'd magically become a winner in life, nope it isn't one.

Sides, BTC was never beginner-friendly. I doubt it would ever be. It's pretty much like how accounting works, a lot of terminologies and such are required for you to actually learn what it is, how it works and the like. But if you only want to use it, then use it. People are probably afraid to touch it because of the keys that are used, which is filled with numbers and letters, and let's be honest, anyone with no prior knowledge about tech would probably be scared as well if they were to be shown something like that which is required for every transaction.

This COVID-19 virus is still spreading around the world to the point that there are so many people who are being afraid to get outside because of the virus, this virus can easily transfer to anyone especially when they meet an infected people around them, so to prevent going outside just to do some transactions, it is really better to learn about the use of bitcoin, so we may do some transactions online without going outside.

Nowadays,more people are staying at home using their computers and smartphones.A part of them wants to learn something new.
Online education is growing and the amount of people using online education platforms is going up.
Now it's the time for you to create an online course about Bitcoin/blockchain and give it away for free.
There are plenty of education/tutoring platforms like Udemy,Skillshare,Coursera,Lynda.com,etc.
However,I don't think that most of the Bitcoin newbies would want to invest into buying Bitcoins right away.

It's not a solution to unemployment, and dang I remember a lot of threads of that questions popping in BC Discussion board long time ago. Bitcoin isn't designed to solve that problem. It is entirely problem of the country itself, and not the currency.
It is still good idea to teach about the technical sides about Bitcoin though. We got Lightning Network, Blockchain and all that good stuffs that miners know, but it is quite difficult to do it right now due to the pandemic.

Bitcoin wasn't created to be a source of income, and its ecosystem isn't a good source of income either. There's simply not much opportunities and a lot of scams around. So it's not a good idea to introduce it as a solution to financial problems, especially with how volatile the market is. What you should do instead is teach about core values of Bitcoin - personal freedom, decentralization, controlling your own money.

You are right that a lot of people are staying at homes right now and might be bored, so learning about Bitcoin could be interesting to them, just don't tell them that it can somehow replace their (lost) jobs.

It is the perfect time to teach people about bitcoin/crypto. As long as they can accept something that they don't know and they can open mind about the new thing, I am sure that they will accept crypto. But I guess that now, they can use the other digital money that available in each country so perhaps, they will use that way first before they use crypto. Let them decide for what they want to use to buy whatever they want, but we can still explain to them about bitcoin so they will have the other option to buy.

Absolutely true, Because most of the people who are staying at home, they are thinking some way on how to earn some cash during that time, what you need to tell them is, step by step about how bitcoin works and how will it help us to earn at home by trading or any other means of job with BTC payment. After that, don't forget to teach them about its volatility and let them decide on their self whether they want to start investing now or later.

all the information is already out there in form of articles, websites or even books. if anybody wanted to learn about bitcoin they could easily do it. there is no need for new contents.

that is a different question. bitcoin isn't some magical money-making thing. it is a currency like any other that people can earn by doing jobs like they do naturally. when you start thinking that way you can see that methods such as faucets and ICO scams no longer make any sense.

You are right that now, work from home, a study from home, and self-quarantine is being encouraged. We should decrease activities that are done outside the house in order to press and decrease the coronavirus spreading. However, is this the right time to teach about Bitcoin and crypto in relation to this condition? The answer may be "yes or no" because of some reasons. It will depend on the condition of each country and especially each person.

The reasons may be:

However, in fact, many people who currently need fiat to transact in their country. Why? Because they need money to buy all basic necessities during self-quarantine.

3. We can teach new people about the advantages of using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But this is not easy, especially the way to teach them. but it will not be the same if there is some way to try it first without spending at the start
im also one of those who have doubt about bitcoin at the start
but because there is some way to earn it i have some time to learn it little by little until i realized the potential of bitcoin

that's why im looking idea how i can make people get into bitcoin without spending a single cent at the start
because i think one of the reasons why bitcoin is not gaining interest unlike before because it's not newbie friendly anymore
if we will compare in the past there is not a lot of faucets available now
even the signature campaign is not newbie friendly
they can join is some bounty in altcoin section with a high risk to get scam
