- Run a full anti virus scan on your computer
- Head over to bitaddress.org
- Disconnect from the internet, right click anywhere on the page & save
webpage to desktop (still offline).
- Clear cookies & cache, restart your computer
- Double click saved webpage on your desktop
- Create randomness by moving your mouse around
- Create paper wallet
- Print paper wallet (2 or 3 copies)
- Restart computer
- Computer back on, reconnect to internet & send BTC to your new public
address

But it's really hard to keep a paper wallet safe for long , so it's better you get it laminated and paste a sticker on top
Wait what? What do you mean? I thought paper wallets were pretty safe and the only way for you to get ''hacked'' would be for the hacker to steal physically the paper or somehow look at it, right?
He meant that papers can easily be destroyed/damaged, so its better to do something to prevent it.
Of course but you can make copies and/or store them in safes or wherever you feel they will be safe and leaving only 1 option for someone who wants to steal your money, stealing it physically and i consider that way safer than having them in exchanges and wallets too
