Best way to find out is this fishing attempt is to hover over link and if it's not https://www.myetherwallet.com/ then it is phishing site.
Thanks for warning, it would be nice if you change topic subject to "MEW phishing attempt".

This is part of the huge scam currently happening to MyEtherWallet. They are using fake domains. For this reason, do not use any link and simply access the site from Google and then bookmark it and reach it only this way.

Yes, you are right for that, I think this is part of the fraud, and it is clear that ET does not look like this, it is said that everyone who does not know it can see the part of the example made by this stupid fraudster to commit a crime in doing like this.

Only log into your wallet if you go there directly, never through someone else's link.

It's like giving your credit card number, bank account, social security number, and passwords to the Nigerian prince.

As others have said, definite scam, and be especially wary of this sort of message that comes via Slack. I've had 3 similar messages in the last few days.

I haven't received an email like that but I am sure that cannot be trusted.
Never let the scammer to be successful on scamming you, why would ETH give that free money by the way?
That's common sense, be smart all the time.

Please beware of phishing websites. Do not enter your key on a website you arrived at by clicking a link. Use bookmarks. Always triple-check the domain. Ours is dot com. You are responsible for your safety & security.

Glad you asked!
If you were stupid enough to click on a email link like that (not presumably op but all others out there) you were justifiable to lose your money.
It smells SCAM SCAM SCAM all over the place!
