I remember not that long ago about someone sending $1 then receiving the double of it in here, the thread could've been buried already but I can't tell if it was legitimate.
But anyway, is this an airdrop or giveaway? I am seeing this more of a give away rather than airdrop because in airdrops, you just need to submit your info which I hated the most then they'll send it right away.
This one you mentioned in the OP is purely a scam.

4-8 Minutes? It's funny that many scams are even claiming "2x in 2 days ".

I can say that, this is the perfect airdrop for greedy people. I didn't bother to waste my time checking because right from what you said, sending a particular number of ETH and getting X2 (that's double) of it, is a scam move by fraudsters and only those who are greedy will fall for this. Airdrops don't ask for things like this, participants registers, do the tasks required of them and are paid accordingly, any airdrop asking for payment, personal details (like private keys) or even this type of airdrop is only but scam.

Hey mate! You don't need anyone to tell you that this is outright scam. No legit airdrop will ask you for any withdrawal fees, except they can direct you to withdraw your tokens on bots such CCTiP and the likes. Also, one should be careful of selfdrops, that is for example, pay 0.5 ETH to get 1ETH. Those are scammers related gimmicks.

That's not something to be suspected of anymore you should go away from this scam attempt. Simply, you can judge the event is legit and scam. Just see how their way to give the reward, if they ask you to send money (in form of crypto or anything) first then it can't be trusted and I believe in 100% the event is scam. The legit project never ask you money to be a participant, but they will tell you to promote their project like in social media and etc and you will get the reward in it.

That's the same as the old airdrop that gives the participant about the responsibility to send their private key to be able to get the airdrop token. This is a scam and a trusted airdrop will be distributing your token to the wallet directly and it will never asked your money.

It's a scam. If any project is asking you to send ETH/BTC to give you free tokens then you can easily consider it a scam.

Any offer that's too good to be true should also be considered a scam IMO.

If they are referringto civic project then probably this is another scam. Usually big names like that does not support any kind of airdrop. If everyone just know how to ask then they will not fall for this. Its so easy to join on telegram group and ask some details if they launch an airdrop or not cause normally these bots are just set by scammers to spy on those addresses sent and will exploit it on you later on.

i will not send any ethereum when meet this kind airdrop. it just scamm and want to take our ethereum without any compensation. just go away and find another airdrop that didnt required ethereum at all. and also many beginner tempted with this offer and when it be scamm they will shouting and blame everyone,meanwhile this is their own mistake.

Never checked that out but I do have some experiences on some doubling coins preferably btc and eth in telegram group too.

They will show you some proofs of payments to convince you that they are legit and then at the end when you will gonna deposit some of eth some twlegram groups will require you more steps for you to be able to withdraw. Like referrals, depositing more, etc. That makes it shady and obvious scam. With those kind of easy doubling money, do not fall on this kind of trap.

rewards are to be good to be true. It is very visible with only 4-8 minutes we can profit 2x, it is impossible to become reality.

only noobs and greed users will send their eth to this project, hoping that they will get their money doubled. but it's not! absolutely there's no way a legit project can double their participant's money in a very short period of time. it spells SCAM in all angles!

Definitely looks like a scam. It's one of the issues of Telegram in my opinion. Anyone can create an account and group without any verification, just an SMS to their number once.
It's literally zero risk to create new accounts and spam messages, be it scams or whatnot. Telegram barely regulates those anyway.

There's open source bots to program and repurposed any scam to your needs... From there, accounts in rooms can be botted, followers can be faked etc. For a means of social media networking, its very easy to manipulate. And moreover the service is also fully anonymous and the provider is known for protecting user identities, even of those commiting crimes in other countries. The only types of content they get off their platform actively AFAIK is ISIS and war front videos from terrorist groups and militia. You really shouldn't take offers via Telegram unless you know the person outside of the platform too.

In 2020, any airdrop or bounty program that asks participants to send in any form of token be it 0.1$ or 1$ is a total fraud and we should falling for such projects. Airdrops mean FREE; bounty means; work for me and i pay you few tokens depending on your stakes; when it starts involving paying few $, run from it and flee at once without hesitating.

I don't think there is a need to prove that this is a big scam coz obviously it was. Getting X amounts in X hours? It is clearly identified to be a scamming old trick. How do I wonder where they get that returns for that quickly?

People should know about this thing and that impossible for any investment will bring that way, not even in trading. There are no instant returns in crypto and that should we have to think. Other than that it was considered a big scam just like what OP has posted.

this requires a charge and effort , its not like your waiting on your wallet on your wallet for some coins without doing anything . they require a fee but this wont mean that they are now legit because of that .

That's a pure scam airdrop, any project that claim to be airdropping their tokens or coins should make their official announcement on their website including their social media handles. The worst of this airdropping is the one you send them some coins before claim their airdrops. We have known them and many keep falling for their illicit projects of defrauding newbies investors. Many greedy fellows will be rushing into their airdrops by sending their hard earned money to them, remember this, there is nothing called double(investment) on the internet when it come to financials on a real sense.

That's a real fraud. See Tx Hash does not work, if we click it will return to the main site. So don't try to send ETH to the wallet provided, this will make you lose Ethereum.

There are no such things that will be guaranteed to double your ETH that quick, It is obviously scam just like anybody says. If you see something like this in the future just ignore it or report it to help some newbies to avoid it. But in cryptocurrency double your money is seconds is really possible just like on gambling but it is not a guaranteed win, it is a matter of luck. The offer sounds too good to be true. I mean why do you even have doubts about this scam? They are asking you to send you coins and they will 2x it? Why can't they just send the coins to the address you provide? (I am sure they have some "funny" excuse. Maybe be you should post that so that we all can have a laugh).
Don't even join those drops where they tell you to send IDs to verify you. They highly likely sell your IDs in the black market.

I can't believe any airdrops in this cryptocurrency situation. Just think what is the benefit left for them, in only 4-8 minutes you will get 2x rewards. Without any doubt, this is just a scam airdrop. I don't believe in any project if they ask for Ethereum in a bounty campaign. We shouldn't believe any campaign with top high rewards where we have to invest first.

One of the things that will tell that it is scam is the fact that it promises to double your ETH, I don't think that there is any system which does that without any contribution to them

No need to spend too much time checking it. This is definitely a fake airdrop and you will lose money if you send to their address. I have seen thousands of such fake airdrops in the past few years

What they've showing in their telegram are all fake this is are all people conniving to make new people who just joined to see that they are indeed getting bonus, or their Ethereum is doubled, there are already a lot of reports like this, so you know what to do ignore this and do not be greedy, and better move this thread in the scam section.

There will be a scam if:
1. they ask us to send funds at first
2. they promise very legit profits, moreover double amount as invested.
and more others.

This is very usual thing, but they may use different media or even ways in order to attract the victims. mostly, the victims are newbies or whoever that only focuses on the profits without thinking of the risk and scam probabilities.

Your post looks more like you are promoting it, how can you even believe that this is real? It's an old trick and many are aware of this, there is no such thing as free money, it's a way to lure you into trap

Most likely scam. It's like a well known scamming method that was more common on social media in the past.
You should try reporting it to the Telegram people... Hopefully they quickly ban the account after investigation
