It would be very concerning if Trezor was sending the seed to your online computer, in order to make whatever feature working. And most people would throw it away because it wouldn't be a cold wallet anymore, neither a even safe wallet. So no, your seed never goes out of your device and it should never do it. AFAIK the device works in the same way as it does with other softwares managing hardware wallets such as Electrum.

If I'm not mistaken, in older versions of Electrum (I don't remember the version), when I activated the Labeling feature in Trezor Suite, Trezor couldn't be used in Electrum.
I never had this issue when using them together, but maybe there was some bug in the code because electrum wallet also have their own labels.
Labeling address and transactions is very helpful and these days I can't imagine using any bitcoin wallet without that feature.

But trezor claim that the labeling file is encrypted with a private key derived from the trezor device is this still safe
I highly doubt your Bitcoin will be lost if you lose this file.  Even after reading the link provided by Husna QA from Trezor directly, there are no notes or warnings about the risks of losing this file.

So as I previously said, the only purpose of this file is to simply organize your Bitcoin in a better way by labeling Addresses, Transactions et cetera.

If you want to be 100 percent sure and have no more fear or anxiety about it, you can try to create a new Wallet, enable Labeling on it, move a few Dollars worth of Bitcoin to it, disable Labeling and try to spend it back.

The encryption key is generated on your Trezor, but it is not the same as a Bitcoin private key. If you backed up the labels to a cloud drive and someone decrypts the file, it will not have any effect on your funds, it will only be bad for your privacy.

should i disable labeling and wipe my device to romove any threat ?
This labels are encrypted and stored only locally, so it's perfectly fine to use them if you want, and this is a great way to have better address management.
Similar feature is also available in Electrum and other wallets, so this is not specific only to Trezor Suite, and everything is availble for checking because it's open source.
No keys are ever used for creating labels, and you can always disable and delete them.

The label feature in Trezor is encrypted and can be saved on several media (not only saved on the local file system), as shown in the following screenshot.

You can also see more details here: https://trezor.io/learn/a/labels-in-trezor-suite.

Labeling is strictly for renaming those long strings of letters and numbers into names you easily recognize.  It does not lower the Security of your Wallet in any way.  That is unless you have a sneaky room mate and they get a chance to peek on your screen while you are browsing your Wallet labeled 'MILLION DOLLAR SAVINGS'.

There is no need to be scared of labels.  They are only there to help you organize your Wallet in a better way.
You don't have to be fearful about Labels because if anyone wants to steal your bitcoin, moves it out of your wallets, they must have access to your Bitcoin private keys. If they don't have access to private keys, your bitcoin is safe.

With either labels or public keys, nobody can move your bitcoin.

You actually need to avoid to label or post your public keys, public addresses on Internet, to inform like "I am a Bitcoin millionaire/ billionaire". It's dangerous and need to be avoided because you are labeling you as a rich investor, and you will become favorite targets of either Hackers or Physical attackers.

Hi is it safe to use labeling feature to rename my hidden wallet name

i heard that labeling use a private key or something does that mean

if someone succeed somehow to decrypt the labeling file he can steal my coins or drain my wallet ??

is labeling encrypted file has my seedphrase or passphrase on it ?

i created a passphrase wallet and did rename it is this may cause any security issue ?

should i disable labeling and wipe my device to romove any threat ?
