Why he messaged you in reddit, did you make a thread and ask question there?

When it comes to safety and security online when asking in a forum or any social media app, make sure the discussion stay on the thread, anyone trying to help via pm should be considered as suspicious unless its confidential and you initiated the convo with high regard for good practice  contacting some stranger.

These days, even old looking domains that were registered a while back can be used to scam people, so domain age is no longer much important in determining if a site is a scam or not. The domain name lost so awkward though. No legitimate service would use such a long domain name. I am glad to were extra careful and never fell for the phishing trap.

THNX glad that i didnt fall for it. i knew that the official site was trezor.io so that url was weird and since
update are only made from the trezor suite app itself. i had some doubts that it may be a phishing website
i blocked him and reported the profile as sharing malicious links asking for seed made it 100/100 SCAM.

I'm glad that you first ask it here. Be very careful. There are lots of scammers out there sharing a site that looks legit but is a phishing site like this. I tried the site and how it works, but the two buttons available from the site will bring you to connect into your wallet and ask for a seed phrase, which is common to all phishing sites that I have encountered so far.

About the official site, yes, it is trezor.io Next time, if you have some issue with trezor, always ask it here on the forum instead of going to ask this outside this forum unless you directly contact the trezor support from trezor.io.

It’s a phishing site. Incase you didn’t notice - only two buttons are clickable on the site the first being the “Debug firmware” and the second being “manage assets” and the only thing they both do is to connect the site to your wallet.

In the main/official site all the buttons are clickable but here only those two mentioned are clickable so this already should serve as a red flag for you not to perform any thing on the site.

Here’s more proof for you to stead clear from the site and also don’t forget to take this to the post where you got the link from and report the account so that others won’t fall victim to it.
