It was Trump or Clinton
On a technical level Trump plays seem idiotic yet they are very effective.
However he has valid points at times especially about media manipulation in the United States and his willingness to call them out on it at all times and he is accurate more often than not and the media hates him for that even more than the usual Republican President who tried to play nice.
On social media, if Trump was not the president he would have no social media platforms to speak on outside of Gabs etc just highlights the bias.
On the Wall, they say it won't work but honestly they would need to try it, the sum is paltry the US Defense Budget is 639 Billion a 5.7 Billion Dollar Wall with a defined cost per category of spending is reasonable.
That said reasonable is a swear word within Washington and agreeing in any way shape or form is considered Cancer to the Democrats and immigrants vote Democrat so why kill their base.
On the other hand even with the Wall
There is likely going to be corruption at the border from the Mexican Cartel with Security agents, they will pretend it is valid entry as long as you pay the amount to go in.
Put in 20,000 split it between officers get into the USA
The Wall would be more of a poverty blocker than anything else.
If Trump makes the wall he definitely will get a cut from some business interests that is his Schtick after all, indirectly although that much should be obvious.
