He wants to make everybody who doesn't work for the military or department of homeland security homeless.

Is it significant that has experience as a slumlord? Will he save the day eventually?

no trump does not plan to make homeless the new normal ,well he wanted to eradicate the indian community as they work as cheap labour and they are not very much happy with it .
that s why he stopped the people who did not have the valid visas and made way for local people of america.

Indians in the U.S. actually are more concentrated in the tech sector and other specialized fields.

A person with no money can come to the U.S. from Mexico and look for a very low pay job, since transportation costs are not that high.

But to come from India, and pay thousands of dollars for visas and airfares to work $5 an hour, is less likely.

Trump is speaking for a shrinking part of the world that tries to profit always at the expense of another. In order for him to accept another group's profiting, there has to be a well articulated public reason.

The U.S. is a conqueror country. It is built on one group, Europeans, taking control by overpowering another group. This leads to a certain kind of defensiveness with regard to outsiders that is different than the xenophobia you might see in India, for example.
