The US must've given them all the ammo they needed and more as they surely would've ran out by now if this was just a mediocre arms shipment from whoever else. That's right, prop them up and then let them do their butchering thing creating destabilization and creating the PR to get the war machine revving again in US.
I'll never understand after all these years why Syrian soldiers don't learn to NEVER SURRENDER to the enemy when its likely you'll end up like this. At least go down fighting and take a few more with you instead of dying like this.
They should have never surrendered, but we don't know what happened out there for sure. Perhaps they were deceived by the IS, who promised them a safe return to Damascus in return for a surrender. Or may be they must have ran out of ammo and heavy-weaponry. The commanders might have thought that surrendering was better than fighting the heavily armed ISIS with rocks and sticks.

Why would 250 soldiers give up without fighting to the death? They must know ISIS will murder them all anyway. Why not go out taking as many of them as you can? Weird.

Culture that resort to violent to solve their conflict do not deserve to carry on.
They fight among themselves and eventually will be taken over of a stronger by stander.
I feel bad for them. They should have fought on rather than surrendering to the ISIS. Russia and Iran needs to arm Assad with modern fighter jets and bombers. Just bomb the shit out of these barbarians. They are not even human. They should be eradicated from the face of earth, just like rabid dogs are culled from the streets of a crowded city.

Islamic State fighters executed scores of Syrian soldiers captures when the militants seized an airbase in the province of Raqqa at the weekend, according to a video posted on You Tube on Thursday.
The video, confirmed as genuine by an Islamic State fighter, showed the bodies of dozens of men lying face down wearing nothing but their underwear. They were stretched out in a line that appeared to be dozens of metres long.
A separate pile of bodies was shown nearby. Reuters could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.
The caption beneath it said the dead numbered 250. An Islamic State fighter in Raqqa told Reuters via the Internet: "Yes, we have executed them all."

ISIS is gaining serious grip in Syria. There needs to be some boots on the ground to fight these fuckers. Airstrikes alone isn't going to be enough.
