It would behoove all western countries to slow down their allotment of immigrants and do some serious background checking and only allow entrance based upon the results. Unfortunately, you're gonna have to profile to focus resources on the most likely candidates that may be coming and that could be up to no good.

They update the map every week or so. The map from BBC is a little bit outdated. However, in the map from Wikipedia, the area controlled by the Tobou militia is not shown separately.

Seems interesting that Europe needs a way to look sympathetic but at the same time will need to be a little ruthless to solve this problem of migrants arriving in masses. If they can get the public thinking this way about the boatloads they can then bomb them with no issues from opposing sides.

Hundreds, or possibly even thousands might have already reached the European Union by now. In the past five months time, some 60,000 "refugees" have arrived at the EU via Libya. Many of the important ports, such as Sirte, Nofilia, and Benghazi are under solid Islamic State control, for many months now (see the map below).
I suspect this is just more fear-mongering from the scared anti-muslim/immigration types. I doubt there's any or if there is they probably wont or cant do much. And what exactly makes IS any different from any other muslim extremist that might already be in europe? It's not like they're trained assassins. They're just you're average terrorist not some super-boogeyman.
