Yes, you could gain a lot of coins before the guys with GPUs move their rigs onto them Smiley Some coins are also trying to be GPU resistant as much as they can but it's a hard to do that.

I manage a thread about CPU mining, you can take a look here: [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return

So I was thinking about this, when a coin is new you can only mine using cpu.
Not necessarily. Unless the coin's algorithm deliberately makes it difficult to use a GPU, people using GPU rigs will have a lot advantage and you will have to compete with them.

During that time you can mine a lot coins per day with only your CPU.
Only if you are really really fast, and only if no one is mining. Hard to achieve these days, you would have to have some kind of insider information.

I mean theorytically CPU mining is way more profitable then GPU mining, if you can get in at the right time. Could there be guys who only by mine by cpu(and making profit) even if they could easily afford gpu rigs
This is not true in general. Again, it depends on the algorithm.

the problem is whether the mining proceeds can pay for electricity and the internet when mining is running if it's assumed their coins are not to hold and how long to buying GPUs from the resulting mining with CPU and it's if CPU doesn't break.

So I was thinking about this, when a coin is new you can only mine using cpu. During that time you can mine a lot coins per day with only your CPU. Now if the project becomes successful then GPU mining won't be much profitable for long due to increased difficulty but you already hold a lot of coins from CPU mining.

One could also easily that any mining is profitable if you can get in the right time.

The first few hours of a coin is highly profitable because difficulty is still low. During this time, whether the coins is CPU, GPU, FPGA, or ASIC mining whatever it is, it will be profitable. Singling out CPU mining may be narrowing the idea down too much. Multiple CPUs are also more difficult to power and run simultaneously.

This is also applicable to GPU and could get better hash than CPU

However it seems chasing low diff with promising coins is not that easy

and could probably fall on Sh*tty bag of coins with no value

Well..... Out of 100 new coins, only 0.5 make it. So that means you would have to mine every coin and hope they make it. That gives you alot of dead coins and wasted energy = loss of money.
Your post makes no sense since you think its just to mine a new coin and then get rich.
