I am always okay with regulation until it is flexible for the crypto currency. I think regulation is far better than ban. I think the other countries will also accept bitcoin soon and they can learn how to control or regulate it from Israel.

Regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency into mainstream economy has experienced a lot of mixed feelings among the technocrats in every country and not only Israel. In no time all will come to understand the need to allow crypto to operate.

I do not think it is bad for cryptos in Israel, at least they are allowing exchanges to operate which is a good sign, some countries outrighly banned crypto-currencies.

All markets have some rules and regulation. All investors need to maintain this. As far as i know Israel always appreciate this crypto market. In future i hope all counties will accept bitocoin.

The government will impose laws and regulations, because they have a fear of having less control in this market and the anonymous activities agitates them a lot. But this is not something that needs to discussed on a major scale. The wiser thing would be to not to pay heed to any such news.

A bit old news ... this was decided a month ago.

The article itself is OK - another one explaining the situation a bit better: https://cryptodisrupt.com/israel-issues-draft-law-on-cryptocurrency-reporting-requirements/

In short: There are fears that the AML requirements could be impossible to meet for Israeli companies, because exchanges and other financial businesses would need to monitor IP addresses and Bitcoin addresses of their clients, and this could violate privacy laws.

I think this is a good news for the whole industry and an example for the countries who still have not accepted crypto currencies. I hope they will set the laws that will positively impact the whole industry to grow more in coming days and will try to get the hold in the market.

There has been an uproar and confusion in the crypto industry in Israel, as Israel’s parliament- the Knesset- decided to postpone the law regulating cryptocurrency exchanges by four months on May 31. https://bit.ly/2KCz6h5

I was surprised that reading the article is a waste of time nothing was talked about the content of what the regulation is all about  neither was anything said about the direction its going to follow. The only thing there is what we already know about crypto currency, the ICO market, the exchange sites, the application of blockchain and the importance of regulation other than that, its just a waste of space. Everyone know regulations would come one way or the other and postponing it for 4 months is just shifting the "evil" days forward which would eventually happen.

"Wor" means war or world?

I think they have reconsidered that people from their country could earn from involving with crypto compared to what they earned daily lives and daily works in their country, It would be great if they continue to support crypto as well.
