if those hostages were taken to Lebanon, it is possible Hezbollah would continue to mobilize them further into the northern Lebanon as the Israeli forces continue to advance closer to Beirut an other cities where Hezbollah has presence.
Would be Israel willing to flatten a whole country for the sake of alledgedly rescuing those remaining hostages or this is all a pretty good excuse for them to expend the national territory of their country?
I believe this whole attack a year ago has settled very well in the plans of Israeli nationalist parties and politicians and the United States does not have much on an option to push along the plans of Israel, as they consider it to be their number one ally.
