the one good thing about camp BX is their fees are very very cheap, which is why i have continued to use them despite lagging on the MO processing .

The other services (in the past, a while back)
that i had been looking at had fees up to around $10 or more total after all fees (bank transfer fee, coin buying fee etc were done)

on camp BX i get charged little to nothing in fees.

very, very little.

I finally received my Money processed to my campbx.com account today.

That is exactly 1 day prior to being exactly 1 month to process

They said that it was due to the "End of the Financial Fiscal Year"
and a misplacement of the money order.
and that they hope i am keeping their service,

Which I most likely will, as they have treated me fair.

But if you know of any other services that accept MOs and are easy to use,

Or rather just easy to use,

Please let me know!


They definitely did help me, in the end.

But it took them approximately 8 to 10 days to process after I had made my complaints.

To me, personally, if I owned campbx.com and this happened to one of my customer, i would have funneled his or her account with my own money, while waiting for the money order, due to me being such a great repeat customer


In total, it has been almost exactly 30 days that it took them to put the money on my account due to their clerical error.

They received on 3/21

and i was just credited on 4/19


If this happens again, if it ever takes a month to process another money order, i might have to find somewhere else but i am unsure where to start looking.

a completely different representative replied to me when i opened the second ticket.

they told me they were backed up due to the end of the financial fiscal year......

Now, it's 2 days later, any update on this?

i've been using this money order method for so long that I have lost touch with other types of services that are offered by other companies and businesses .

camp bx has been reliable...

up until this debacle

sometimes they were slow in processing the MOs

Sometimes they were lightning fast,

though the past few months, and the past year... each MO has taken 5 to 10 business days to process

They state a "2 day" turnaround time after receiving the money order for the money to be credited to your campbx.com account


not 5... or 10... or 26... and I tell them this every-time

Camp BX is still a thing? Boy. Even if it is I wouldn't be using somewhere that obscure any more. I guess it's the money order thing. There's gotta be a better alternative somewhere.

yea. after this ticket today, if they do not get back to me & respond properly and put the money on my account, than
 im looking for another service that uses money orders, to fund your account to purchase bitcoins.

as of today they have had my money order in their possession for 27 days
(which was received on 3/21/2016 by them, and signed for.)

their latest reply to me was

"If your money order was in the latest batched it will be processed in the following days"

and they closed my ticket

It has been 6 or 7 days since they said that.

This is ridiculous ...

I wish they had a telephone number.

They have an office but they do not have a landline..

I found 2 of their employees email addresses;
And sent them both emails,
in hopes that this process will go faster

I took photographs of everything , the receipts, money order serial numbers, and everything else...


They should fund my account with their own money if they are true to their word.
 Why should I have to wait even longer because of their clerical errors?

Totally unfair...

have still not received my money credited to my account
On april 10th they said
"If your Money Order is in the latest Batch of Money Orders, We Will Process It Within a few Days"

... in 6 days they will have had my money order in their possession for exactly 1 month.

This is getting to be....

Sounds great. Good that it worked out for you. If I would have something on value there I would stop using them for now. Just to watch how it develops.

Well, the only other explaination besides "We got hacked" or "We teached you a lesson, victims", that came up in such situations with exchanges where cases where the users did not tell the whole truth, for example their identification was not acceptable because could be faked or such.

If you were honest then only pressure that is put on them might help. Though they do not even react on this thread so I wonder if they feel pressure at all. Maybe ask them to send you the funds until 2 weeks. If that didn't happen you will contact your lawyer to go to the next steps.

still have yet to receive my money;
this is not how a customer should be treated

i literally photographed all of the documents required so it was in clear view for them to read and see

after i did that they said again that they would be back with me shortly;

and the money is still not on my campbx account.

Last time, it took them 10 days to process. and similar the time before that, pretty much for the last year and a half

2 years ago they were extremely fast with processing the money orders. almost exactly 2 business days after they were received.

I don't think ive been scammed, as they have replied to me... just, nothing has been updated when they said they would get back to me shortly, 5 days ago.

Overall ive had a pretty solid transactions with them every single time even if it takes a little longer, i am happy they accept money orders.

However they have never taken longer than 10 days (after receiving my money order) to put the money on my account to purchase the bitcoins.

Well, what should I say... wait a month or two and they will give in and explain that they got hacked. Transaction speed going down or even stopping was the first sign for many exchanges and sites that it will stop working shortly. So that was the time when I stopped using such exchanges in the past.

Maybe you are lucky and they only have problem with their bank account. Did they send last time from another one than the times before? Maybe they lost bank accounts or they got a limit on amount.

But honestly, that is not a good sign.

Im unsure. I use money orders. A while back they tried to do the bank transfers but stopped it , and thus have never done bank transfers since then, so i have no idea what bank they're using.

So i send them the money order, they credit my account, then I buy the bitcoin.

Also, another reason i have stuck with them is because their fees seem to be the cheapest.....

they thanked me for my patience and said they were forwarding it to their accounting department, whatever that means.

so i will be back in a few days with an update

seems you have been scammed by the company.. what type of company is camp bx? what you bought before, and what were you going buy that time? can you contact the post office about the money order?

I'm not known to camp bx, but it looks like it's a registered company in the US.

Isn't there a place where you can open a complaint against them? Maybe your local law enforcement agency?

Also, you can open a scam accusation in the correct subforum in order to warn other people for the company. You'll need to follow the correct format (it's explained in a sticky on the top of the scam accusation subforum) and add a lot of screenshots.

Edit: Issue has been resolved (for quite a long time now) and since then they have had a marked improvement on the processing speed of the money orders.

Has been 16 days since Camp BX has received my Money Order.


I opened a ticket after 10 days.

Gave them all the required information such as USPS tracking number, the amount of the money order & the serial number from the Money Order.

5 days ago they said they were going to "Get Right Back to Me Shortly with an Update"


I have been using them for many years and i am a super repeat customer and I realize sometimes it takes a long time but this is just absolutely abnormal.
