Ok, let me also know if you tweak settings to get 470 kH/s. We have same cards it should work for us in same way. BTW i'm using SMOS 1.3 Linux.

Try following, but these generating 460 Kh/s, for same R9 270 Gigabyte. GPUs run stable for 3 days non-stop, but also want to squeeze at least 470

Code:
"api-listen" : true,
"intensity" : "20,20,20",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"auto-fan" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "85",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "70",
"expiry" : "10",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "5",
"scrypt" : true,
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"shaders" : "1792",
"thread-concurrency" : "16000",
"gpu-thread" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1075,1075,1075",
"sharethreads" : "32",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250,1250,1250"

I set your settings and going to let ir run today, will report back later Smiley
Thanks!

Replace gpu0 with gpu2 and see what happens, might be bad gpu. Also try switching your PSUs. And try to connect it somehow different. Not even speaking about reassembling everything to find out that some connector was sitting badly in it's slot.

Hi guys,

I'm having issues with my rig, will explain what I have and what the issues are.

3 x Gigabyte R9 270 OC
2 x Corsair CM650m
3 x 1x-16x PCI non-powered riser
1 x Asrock H61 BTC Pro
1 x Intel G465 CPU
1 x 2GB DDR3 RAM
3 x 120mm fans

I have one PSU connected to motherboard with the extra molex connectors to board (BTC Pro) and GPU 0 and GPU 1 connected to it.
And I have GPU 2 and the 3 fans connected to the other PSU.
Second PSU is started with the system.

I can seem to push the GPU 0 and 1 to around 480KHash/s and stable but if I try the same on the GPU 2 it just goes SICK and then DEAD and I need to reboot the rig.

Even if I don't push it mush in terms of overclocking it just goes SICK and DEAD. GPU 2 is the one with the lower temperature and better airflow so it also cannot be heat.

My settings are
"api-listen" : true,
"intensity" : "19",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"auto-fan" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "85",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "75",
"expiry" : "30",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "1",
"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "30",
"scrypt" : true,
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"shaders" : "1792",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"gpu-thread" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1100",
"sharethreads" : "32",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"failover-only" : true

Even with gpu-engine at 925 after a few hours GPU 2 dies.

Any ideas what's failing here ?

I'm using SMOS-BAMT but I had the same issues on Windows 7 (at the time I thought it might be related to 2GB RAM so I switched to Linux but with the same results).

Thanks!
