Thanks for all your input, I have repeatedly inquired about this problem with the bitcoin.de support, but they fail to answer properly/at all. I have emailled them once more with your opinions and I guess I'll just have to wait and see how it goes.
It's really a shame that their support is lagging behind so much. It's been 2 weeks since I brought up the issue.

From the bitcoin.de FAQ:
Code:
As soon as you have created a sales offer at bitcoin.de, the respective amount of Bitcoins is marked as reserved balance and cannot be used for any other sales.
If a buyer was found, the seller can no longer have the operator disburse the sold Bitcoins.
The Bitcoins remain ”blocked” for the seller as well as for the buyer until the buying process is completed;
To be found here: https://www.bitcoin.de/en/faq/what-does-bitcoin-de-do-to-offer-security-to-buyers-and-sellers/39.html

According to their FAQ, btc's are only marked as reserved when there is an sell order open.
Is it possible you accidentally created a sell order, which hasn't been fulfilled yet? Not sure why they don't show up in your screens.
Its quite strange you don't see any sell orders. I think the only one able to help you in this case is the support of bitcoin.de

I have used that site before and when your coins are seen as "reserved" it means that you've sold them but haven't released the payment

In such a case it should mark the coins as blocked, not reserved.

This is the transaction from when I originally deposited my BTC from my Electrum wallet to bitcoin.de, is there anything wrong with it?

Everything is fine with the TX. It got confirmed >1 month ago.

Click the "SELL" tab, and display all.

Look at the entire Screenshot, I captured thr SELL tab, as well. It says: Currently, there are no sales offers. (Outstanding (0)). Or am I completely blind now? :/

I have used that site before and when your coins are seen as "reserved" it means that you've sold them but haven't released the payment (usually because you're waiting for the money to appear in the bank).
I have never had a situation where my transfer was confirmed and sitting on the "reserved" tab from the start. Check your mailbox. Are there any messages from the exchange?
It won't hurt you to contact the staff and ask about it.

Sorry, it appears I was the blind one, for some reason didn't see that part of the screenshot. But I still feel like it's due to a sell offer that hasn't completed (or you filled someone's buy offer). Like darkangel says, someone probably accepted the offer but you didn't release the bitcoins yet - similar to Localbitcoins. If you've already contacted support then you just have to wait... but I'm very sure there's something that hasn't completed yet. Maybe check all your transactions and check to see if they tally with all the Bitcoins you've deposited. Click all the individual txs and see their status.

Too bad that they fail to answer properly and with a delay of 12 days currently :/ I'm still glad that the transaction looks fine, so I didn't lose the money.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody

What you're looking at is a transaction history, that is, completed orders. You need to go to your SELL orders. The first screenshot you showed, the first option: "My purchase/sales", you have it displaying "BUY" offers. Click the "SELL" tab, and display all. You should see an offer there, probably something you made a while back when Bitcoin was still above $15k, and forgot about it. Cancel that and your Bitcoin should return to available balance

Like I said, I'm pretty sure it works like any p2p marketplace. If you make a sell offer, it just stays up unless you set an expiry or someone takes it.

Everything looks fine. The transaction you showed confirmed ages ago, and the balance is reflected in your account, from what I can see in your screenshot.

I don't use bitcoin.de myself, but I understand it's a P2P marketplace just like Localbitcoins, which I use. If we assume they work similarly, your entire Bitcoin has already been reserved in a sell order - therefore, it's marked as a Reserved Balance. This is to ensure that you can never sell more Bitcoins than you actually have and you can fulfill all orders.

You should look for your order history details. You probably already put up a Sell Order for that amount or agreed to a Buy Order from someone else. I have a feeling you already put up a Sell Order. The only way for your Bitcoin to be released into available balance (so you can attempt to sell it again) is to have that existing order cancelled.

So... just cancel your Sell Order.

Hey community,

I've been having an issue with my BTC deposit to bitcoin.de, as can be seen here: (Bitcoin deposited, yet merely reserved, not available for trading. I have no open transactions or transfers going on. It's been like this for 6 weeks now)

Link to the pic if the preview doesn't show: https://img2.picload.org/image/ddllcoar/screenshots.jpg
As you can see, I tried to initiate a sale just to see if it works, but I get this warning message shown and can't go on with the sale.

This is the transaction from when I originally deposited my BTC from my Electrum wallet to bitcoin.de, is there anything wrong with it?

Really appreciate your help, since the bitcoin.de support is apparently non-existent :-/
Thanks!
