Its because you are looking at charts that tradingview have from exchange that probably was not listing XRP/GPB trading pair before. GPB/USD fluctuations are negligible compared to XRP/USD fluctuations so you can do you analysis on XRP/USD as well and it is more likely to find longer chart with USD.

For 1 year chart wait I will look , here is only what o found https://currencio.co/xrp/gbp/ just go to 1 year chart.
