If you were to invest something like a mining operation, you would surely watch the mining profitability whatever market season it may be. I don't think investors of that would be stupid enough to just get into it without any research or something related to that.

I am making bank as best as I can.  Wink
What do you mean by making bank? Mining more? Or buying more GPUs?
I guess he is storing USD or stable coin instead, preparing for survival in the bear market lol, I hope this final moment of ETH mining will be incredible profitable once again for all miners.

Maintaining the cash to gear to coin to debt ratios as best as possible.

Debt = 0 at this moment.
Cash = 10%
Coin =  10%
Gear =  80%

So I keep debt at zero
I am increasing cash %
I am stabilizing coins %
I am lowering gear    %

You are a master of strategy I wish I knew what you have up in there, anyway BTC is looking extremely bullish we may see 57k per BTC once again, charts never lies I'm just not expecting this in 2022, maybe the next bear market won't extremely dip like those of past years, will be good to see ETH at 4000$  once again.  I want those 2.5$ from 30MH once again  Grin

GPU price goes back up in two days interval, I think the only reason why GPU price can dump is if the crypto market crash one way or the other, three days ago on aliexpress I saw 1660supers at 430$ and I was talking to the store owner thinking about buying 6 of the cards but today the price is at 450$ again, are GPU sellers also watching the mining profitability or what?.

This doesn’t mean much. Prices on aliexpress change all the time. I think it’s the owner competing against one another or they are ramping up the price to later discount it and show that it’s on sale. I wouldn’t look too much into this. Wait a few more days and price will probably come back down.

Regarding GPU prices coming down? Well if the merge for ETH happens in June and it’s confirmed then it means that miners will be dumping GPUs since there is nothing else to mine really.

However this won’t happen until we get a set fork date and fork block. Maybe in 2 months time we will get provided this.

Or in 2 months we ge a delay.

Or better yet.

We go pos for a few weeks and go back to a new al-gore-rhythm  and mr v explains that the pos deception was a move to crush asics and 70% of the network was asics and by pretending to go pos it crushed asics. and those that held the cards and mined will score bigly beyond their wildest dreams.

And bitmain and innosilicon  get crushed with their shit asics.  Why not?

Here is some logic.

a true and full switch to pos hurts intel,amd,nvidia,bitmain,innosilicon.

while a fake out move to pos and back to a different pow hurts bitmain , innosilicon.

Mr v explains that this was all necessary to truly prevent asics from killing off eth.

Seems to me my idea is very possible. Just as possible as a full switch to pos.  MR V is a slick dude.  But Pissing off AMD , Nvidia , Intel , Bitmain and Innosilicon is not so smart.

One can dream.  Grin
It's like you read my mind, I still don't believe that ETH is going PoS when they know how important PoW algorithm is for ETH, its like something is going on within ETH cave lol but we will find out in no time, June is not so far away anyways.

Pretty hard to tell, last night 2miner 24hours profit shows a whopping 8$ per 1660 super and I made some fast gain in two hours, that was even when I knew that ETH made a old ATH again, what a good way to say a final good bye to crypto miners  Grin.goodbye

This absolutely is a trap. A lot of n00b miners will build rigs right now and assume these levels of profit will continue. We already know what the ETH dev roadmap is: as of right now, they are on schedule for the PoS merge in June. It'll take a major bug to delay this timeline, and even then, the delay would probably be 4 months at most.

I agree, mining profit has gone up by 15-25% in the last 2 weeks. Video card prices have stabilized on feeBay and Newegg.
